"Nära alla sevärdheter"
Bra placering och område, ligger på Magnificent Mile med gångavstånd till alla sevärdheter. Mycket rent, snyggt och trevligt boende. Frukost ingår ej, men hotellet bjuder på kaffe i lobbyn på morgonen. Rummen är ganska små, men fräscht och med utsikt över staden. Rummet saknade kylskåp/minibar.Verifierad gästrecension

Jag har bara gott att säga om detta hotell! Fantastiskt läge på Chicagos mest exklusiva gata, men trots det mycket rimliga pris på rummen. Härlig, klassisk atmosfär på hotellet som helhet. Fräscht rum med skön säng. Jag har bara en sak att anmärka på, annars hade jag satt betyget 5 på allt, och det är att tillgången till gratis wifi är begränsad till […] lobbyn och fjärde vån. Hotellet har ett väldigt bra läge i Chicago och för den som vill shoppa är det perfekt. Dock så var det en ganska kall vecka i Chcago då jag bodde där och de hade ingen värme även om det stog förklarat att man kunde använda luftkonditioneringen för att värma men den fungerade inte. "Very disappointed. Much improvement needed."
We are frequent visitors to Chicago, but this was our first, and last stay at The Allerton. The rooms are dated, the layout is bizarre...the TV is not placed in front of the bed, or the seating area, it's to the side in this incredibly small room. The bathrooms are so small, it's difficult to dry off without bumping into the wall or door. Housekeeping […] is below average with very little attention to detail. There was an incident in the lounge, bar area, and the staff waited far too long to call security. The breakfast was average, but over priced. This hotel does not deserve the star rating it was given at the time of booking. We requested another room upon arrival , but the "upgrade" was also less than desirable. Had it not been for the refund policy, we would have moved to another hotel. We were in Chicago with family who were also staying at the Allerton, and experienced the same issues. "Excellent location, good service"
We reserved two rooms, a queen size for mom and baby and king size for grandparents. Hotel staff was very accomodating - brought in crib for baby and separate mini-refrigerator for formula. King room was supposed to have had a view of the Water tower; we had a tiny window that looked out on the fire escape. "Good value for the money"
We stayed here for a training class. It offered a good value and was a good place to say for business travel. The restaurant / bar area was a little too small, but the food was good.Verifierad gästrecension
The hotel staff were wonderful, front desk, bellman, doorman, and bar service were very attentive and helpful. This was especially important because the concierge was always busy with guests and therefore not available, but everyone else truly picked up the slack, and always made us feel special. The breakfast buffet was delicious and quick which is […] what we needed to get the day started. The doorman always seemed to have a taxi at his fingertips, we never had to wait more than a minute even thought it was very busy. I liked the remodel which had been redone since I visited 15 years ago and the modern decor appealed to my teenage daughter, but still had the elegance I remembered. Only complaint about the room was my sink was cracked, and looked as though it had been that way for some time? The room service was truly obliging and would let us sleep late and then come and clean when we were gone. "BEST service ever"
Fell in love. We were upgraded for free to a larger room. But the location and service was wonderful. Of course it an older hotel but the elegance and beauty made up for the smaller space. "Location is great for shopping and travelling"
The location of the hotel is great for shopping and travelling around Chicago. But it is too near to the hospital and we constantly get ambulance siren throughout the day and night. Bed is comfortable though and the conceirge is very helpful.Verifierad gästrecension

We enjoyed our stay at the Allerton. We were upgraded for free to a bigger room. Room has a great location, price, clean and modern. Hotel staff was very friendly. Nothing bad to say about this hotel. We only had to wait the one morning for 15minutes for the lift, as it was peak time and all elevators was in full use/either to full to enter. The location is excellent; right on the Mile. The room is really small but adequate. The bed was a little harder than I like. The bathroom didn't really have a good place to put a toiletry kit. The biggest issue I had was the wifi in the room didn't really work. They did refund my money because I was never able to connect. "Great Value"
Convenient location to all of the action on the Magnificent Mile. My room had not been cleaned yet when I got it so they gave me a free upgrade. The room was nice. Our room was very small and TV from room next door nearly drowned out ours. Shower pressure very poor. Property is clean and service was friendly, but the hotel could use some updating. "Beautiful place but...."

The hotel is a great location, however there are other hotels with the historic feel that are kept up better. There was tape holding the carpeting together with the bathroom floor and the central air system was very loud each time it came on. The towels also smelled strange, not like detergent. "Celebrating 85"
We really enjoyed the hotel, particularly the service and advice from the concierges. We took my aunt to celebrate her 85th birthday and the hotel made it very special.
