Close to train station from airport! No need to take a cab, just take the train. Hotel situated very close to everything, walking distance, however doesn't feel safe to walk outside after dark, but that goes for everywhere downtown. Room very cold, heated up by a very noisy fan, smelled strongly of cleaning products. Breakfast ok. For the price a very decent 3 star hotel. You get what you pay for, just remember tax not included, so a 3 night stay said should cost 280$ but ended up costing 310$

Had a really pleasant visit at the Olive 8. It feels like it´s brand new and the location is great, smack down in central Seattle with attractions such as the Pike Place market within walking distance.

A design hotel with an artsy touch five minutes from Space Needle. Clean rooms with all commodities needed (flatsceen,wifi, safe deposit, iron board, espresso machine, AC etc). The room was quite big, with a large queen size bed. The staff is very service minded, and the breakfast menu had a lot of alternatives and held high quality. I highly recommend this hotel, you get very much in relation to what you pay. The only downside for some might be that there is no restaurant or bar at night time, so the hotel lobby is quite calm, a bit to calm for somebody that is looking for some pulse. Altough the AC was doin its job, i could have had more in flow of fresh air to the room.

Rakt igenom en mycket bra hotellvistelse. Bra beläget, med kort gångavstånd till allt du kan tänkas se. Trevlig personal och mycket bra rum.

"24 Hour Layover"
I was very pleased with my stay. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Maintenance was quick to fix a problem I had with my bathtub. They are renovating so the hallways smell like paint, but I stayed in an upgraded room. The elevator is very small. The hotel was across the street from the airport which I liked and a 24hr denny's is 2 blocks away. The […] staff was very helpful and informational about Seattle. "Convenient for early airport flights"
With 24 hour shuttle service to the airport it's not a bad layover spot. With being newly remodeled the new paint smell is a little overwhelming. There isn't much in the neighborhood for restaurants or stores. The rooms are fairly spacious and comfortable.Verifierad gästrecension

I reserved two rooms. Mine was clean but my son's room still had an old bar of soap and a half drunk Coke from the prior guest. The price was great and the location was wonderful for staying overnight right by the airport for an early flight the next morning. "What ever happened to customer service?"
I had an emergancy during the middle of the night while I was @ the hotel. I had to rush to Portland Or. About 10am I called the hotel to inform them that I had already booked and paid for & that 8 was in Or. But would be back by night fall. The desk cleark flipped out that I was "out of state" & that I couldn't come sign for room another day. I had […] to talk to a manager just to be able to keep my stuff in a room I had already paid for! The manager informs me that my friend who's car I was using, had to leave my room first. I paid for that room! How can they make me make my friend leave? She had to take a bus back to her all because my grandma was dying in hosptial so she loaned me her car! "Convenient stop-over for early flight or late arri"
The hotel has just updated each room - very well done (except the newness smell was a bit strong so we had to have our windows open for quite a while). This place is amazing, I just hope they continue the good deal. I've used this Red Roof Inn many times as being handy for an early flight - since I live on Bainbridge Island and some early flights are […] hard to make. This time our flight came in at midnight, so we stayed over until a nicer time in the morning. The shuttle is always quick and courteous. Rooms are very clean. The front desk person is always efficient but could usually use a little better customer acknowledgement skills - we often stand in line and seem to be totally invisible until it is our turn. Overall, this was an ok hotel. It was clean and the staff was polite and helpful. We stayed there because it was too late to push on that evening. They are close to the light rail and got us back to SEA to catch it via their shuttle. It was fine.Verifierad gästrecension

"Will never book at RED ROOF INN AGAIN"
I arrived early, and was not greeted by the front desk attendant. She looked miserable to be there. Then as I checked in, I smelled fresh paint, and saw signs that the place was under renovation during the week I was there which was not posted online when I booked. I was helped a great deal by the staff at the desk. When I was incapable of getting into my room, the housekeeping staff was totally unhelpful. I will probably NEV ER use them again because I was ignored so completely when I was in need and even asked for help. I will even consider not using your services because I was treated so badly. "Worst Hotel.com experience ever"
It was an over all HORRIBLE experience. I was told parking was free and when I got there they charged me. I left for a wedding and when I got back at 1am the parking was totally full. I had to driver across the parking lot to a parking facility and check in my car there. I then had to walk back to the hotel in pouring rain in high heels. Mind you I […] am PAYING for the parking seperate from the room. I get to my room and just want a hot shower and to go to bed and the shower curtain holder is broken and sagging allowing water to leak every where. I had to hold the metal rod up while I tried to shower to keep the water from going all over the floor. Friendly greeting and received quiet room in back of hotel. Staff is service oriented - even printed boarding pass for me. Current renovations are source of paint smell through-out.
