Mycket bra, trevlig personal, bra rum. Nackdel endast en hiss.

Hotellet ligger på gångavstånd från Lincoln Center och flera museer och ett stenkast från Central Park. Frukost ingår, vilket inte är vanligt i New York. Vårt rum hade fönster med utsikt åt flera håll. Det fanns förutom säng och byrå ett litet bord med två stolar. Men man ska inte förvänta sig ett lyxhotell. Internetanslutningen fungerade bara av och […] till. Motionsrummet bestod av två maskiner, varav en inte gick att ställa in. (Å andra sidan var vi ensamme om att använda den). Billigt och bra läge, väldigt nära till central park. Lätt att ta Metro downtown. Vintertid kallt på rummen och även väldigt lite plats med en dubbelsäng, vi fick ha väskorna i duschen. Enkel men okej frukost.

Ett litet men helt ok hotel med ett bra läge intill central park. Ett hotel med frukost som annars är svårt att hitta i denna prisklassen. Små och gamla rum men det funkade bra i och med att badrummet var fräscht.

Otroligt bra läge. Nära till Central park, tunnelbanan och restauranger m.m. Frukosten som serverades var godkänd. Gratis wifi men vi bodde på våning fem och där var inte täckningen bra så vi fick göra internet ärenden på första våningen, där fanns även en dator (mot betalning). Vi var absolut nöjda och kan tänka oss att bo här igen.

Hotellet är beläget i ett bra kvarter med nära till såväl Central Park som restauranger och tunnelbana men ändå lugnt och tyst. Däremot är rummen högst ordinära. Inte direkt ofräscha, men små och lite halvdassiga. Hela hotellet har en trälig och sliten interiör och man går bara till rummet för att sova, inget annat. Frukosten är en typisk amerikansk […] sockerbomb (våfflor, donuts, muffins, rostat bröd med sylt m.m.) men överraskade dock något med att i alla fall ha ägg och korv på engelsk vis. Smutsiga lister och karmar. Vattendropp från taket. Inga vägglöss dock som vi kunde se. Trist frukost. En av personalen otrevlig. Bra läge.

Helt OK hotell att bo på några nätter i NYC. Hade rum innåt en tråkig gård, men det var tyst. Bra frukost och service.

Nära till Central Park och till Metron. Mycket bra att frukost ingår. Litet lunchutrymme viklet gör att det fort fylls upp. Bättre kaffe än Starbucks.

Comfort Inn Central Park kan varmt rekomenderas om man vill bo enkelt. Det som vi värde satte var att frukost fanns att få på hotellet, det liknar därför ett europeiskt hotel. Att tänka på om man vill utnyttja detta hotel är att man bokar ett "Kingsize rum", rummen var annars lite väl små. Mycket litet och slitet rum, men det var rent. Bra läge: 2 min gång till 2 olika tunnelbanelinjer, 1min till columbus st med många restauranger och 1 min till Central Park. Helk ok hotell i N.Y hade kunnat bo här igen.

Very helpful staff - Willy is great! It is right by Central Park. Cheap for New York. Good breakfast & coffee.

Hotellet har ett bra läge intill Central Park West. Det är även nära till tunnelbanan och då är hela Manhattan tillgänglig. Frukosten är hyfsad och ingår i priset vilket är ganska ovanligt på amerikanska hotell. Rummen är små men innehåller normala bekvämligheter. Städningen är helt O K och personalen är vänlig och tillmötesgående. We stayed at the Comfort Inn Central Park West during our 10-day visit in New York. The room was quite small, but as we didn't come to New York to hang out in the hotel room that was never a problem. Our […] biggest issue was with the breakfast room, which is way too small considering the amount of guests staying at the hotel. It was always very crowded, and it was sometimes hard to find a place to sit down and eat in the morning. Jag är nöjd med min vistelse på comfort inn! Rummen var ganska små, men vi hade lagt till för större säng och lite större rum så det var helt ok att få plats där en vecka! Läget är jättebra, lugn gata med närhet till restauranger, butiker, subway och vackra central park! Kan absolut tänka mig att bo här igen! Great location close to subway and Central Park. Calm neighbourhood. The staff is very friendly and effective. Complimentary breakfast was extended with bacon and eggs during our stay, and is now quite complete. The room was extremely small, carpet and curtains felt a bit old, but everything was perfectly clean. Bed was comfortable. Bra hotell med mycket bra läge på lugn gata intill Central Park! Bra shopping och restaurangmöjligheter i området. Hotellrummet var bra. Litet men inte för litet som många recensioner säger. Badrummet fräscht osv. Frukosten helt ok, våfflor, mjölk och flingor, toast och creme cheese med mera!

För dig som har svårt att sova med storstadens alla ljud runt omkring är detta hotell toppen. Det ligger på en liten sidogata utan trafik. Vi spenderade 6 nätter här och sov som stockar hela nätterna. Inga tjutande sirener, inget oväsen från gatan, bara rummets luftkonditionering som brummade. Rummet var litet men klart funktionsdugligt för det man […] ska ha det till (sova och duscha). Däremot var standarden något sämre än förväntat trots att hotellet bara har två stjärnor. Solkiga väggar, smutsigt kring golvlister, trasigt golv i badrummet, trasiga golvlister, cigarettbrännhål i filten i sängen. Sängkläder och handdukar byttes dock varje dag om man inte satte upp "do not disturb"-skylten. Bekväm säng. Frukosten var "amerikansk" och enkel men fyllde helt klart sin funktion. Juice, te, kaffe, frukt, rostbröd, bagels, våfflor (väldigt söta), cream cheese och marmelad, mjölk och flingor. Och en massa munkar och andra onyttiga bakverk förstås. Skönt att slippa ut och jaga frukost på morgonen. Dock väldigt liten "matsal", så var om möjligt där vid 7 när frukosten börjar för att vara säker på att få bord. Vill du ha lugnt läge som ändå är relativt nära till centrala Manhattan, och inte är så noga med själva rummets standard kan detta hotell rekommenderas. Enkelt hotell som ligger i mysigt område med många resturanger. Tunnelbanan finns en tvärgata bort (72st). Att gå till Times Square tar mindre än 30 min. Frukost helt ok, men frukostrummet är lite trångt, så var där i god tid.

Perfekt utgångsläge för att utforska Manhattan. Ett halvt kvarter från tunnelbanan och väldigt nära Central Park! Vi blev positivt överraskade med tanke på att tidigare gäster skrivit att rummen var så små. Vi bokade visserligen deluxe rummet. Frukosten var klart godkänd, underbara våfflor...!

A really good hotel for the low price we paid. The hotel has a great location near Central Park and one block away from the subway that take you downtown. You have Columbus Ave. just around the corner with Deli's, restaurants and shops. It's a nice and quiet neighbourhood. The room was cleaned every day with new towels. The breakfast was for free […] with coffee/tea/chocolate, juices, yoghurt, cereal, instand oatmeal, toast, bagels, waffles, pastry, boild eggs, peanutbutter and jelly/marmelade. Be sure to get up early so you get a table and don't have to wait for one. The only thing that we got a bit tierd of was that you share elevator with the staff so somtimes we had to wait for quite som time at the elevator, and since we stayed on the 9th floor it was to many stairs to walk. Ett mkt bra hotell för sina två stjärnor. Nära till flera linjer på tunnelbanan. Lugnt kvarter vilket underlättade på nätterna. Flera 'nödvändiga' affärer i området, men att ta sig in i 'smeten' tog inte lång tid med t-bana. Personalen var vänlig och hjälpsam. Städning ua. Överlag ett mkt bra hotell om du åker till NY i nöjes syfte.

This hotel had a good location with very close subway link and was very reasonably priced for New York. The service from Reception was very good. A little bit dated and the room was very small considering we had just flown in from Las Vegas where we had been very spoilt!! It was clean though and we managed!

My wife and I visited NYC from South Africa. The hotel was everything we expected after reading all the reviews - positive and negative. The location is very convenient - near the metro, central park, shops and restaurants. We even walked to Time Square and beyond. The room was clean and although it was small (we had the Queen size room) it was cosy. […] The breakfast area is also small and busy but we met some interesting people while sharing a table. The food was sufficient taking in to account it was free. The lady who looks after the breakfast area - fills-up the stock, cleans the table ect - was on the ball and friendly. Chech-in and check-out was quick and efficient. All the staff we meet were friendly and helpful. It was great value for money and we will definitely stay there again when we visit NYC. Läs mer

Loved the staff, they were all very friendly and professional and made me feel welcomr the moment I walked through the door. Only complaint was that the room was way too small and cramped for one person much less two. Felt as though I was doing the waltz all night when my girlfriend and I was moving around. The location is great, one of the best. The rooms are small, but that's OK. My only problem -- and it is a problem -- is that due to the warm weather the heat was on and I had no control over it in my room. I opened the bathroom window and put on the AC that was in the bedroom window, but the compressor cutting on and off made the sound either very […] loud or very soft -- and I am a very light sleeper, so the sound difference was one I couldn't sleep with. I put the AC on 'fan only,' took all the blankets off the bed and slept as best I could (even with earplugs and a white noise machine the AC compressor sound was too loud). If you are a heavy sleeper or just a normal sleeper, the AC cutting on and off probably wouldn't bother you, and then I would highly recommend this hotel (even though it's maddening to have both the heat and the AC on). The staff was very nice -- and they gave me a late check out (which I'm finding now is unusual in the cheaper Manhattan hotels). If they would renovate these rooms, update the heating/cooling system, this would become my #1 place to stay. I discussed this with the front desk person when I checked out. She told me there might be rooms that DO have updated cooling/heating -- she just wasn't sure. I used to live on Manhattan's Upper West Side and this is the 4th UWS hotel I have tried, in search of the perfect place to stay. I'm still on that quest, but as I said, if you are a heavy sleeper or even just a normal sleeper you'd probably be fine here.There are also two local landmark restaurants that deliver -- one on the corner of 71st and Columbus, the other on West 72nd Street between CPW and Columbus that are inexpensive, healthy and really good. Clean hotel and excellent location for attending performances at Lincoln Center. Hotel staff were VERY pleasant and nice to deal with. Didn't see any bedbugs. Great hot breakfast too (how can you beat waffles, eggs, and sausage???)

The check-in staff was EXCELLENT. Friendly, helpful and genuine. They really knew the area and recommended all different kinds of restaurants and things to do. Thomas and some very attractive girl who's name started with "P", and checking out was equally as friendly and expedient. The hotel is SO close to the subway... the 71st street stop I believe. […] Getting off the subway you just walk for about 2 minutes and bam, there you are. That means that getting anywhere in NY from the hotel is just as easy. Very nice neighboorhood as well. Tons of BMW, Lexus, Mercedes etc cars parked along the street. Tells you about the people living around the hotel. Very small "studio-type" room. The size isn't an issue, just know that it's not a regular sized room. Furnished well. The hotel fails in the biggest way though. Otherwise it'd be amazing. ROOM CLEANLINESS. Listen, it is not too much to ask to have clean sheets on a bed in a hotel room. I have no idea who is cleaning the rooms, but just looking at sheets and refluffing the bed is *not acceptable*. Getting into bed after a great day in NY (broadway shows, good food, etc) and yes, I see hair. Not my color or type. I say ok, it could have come from the comforter. Move the pillow, more underneath. Lift up the sheets and look down the bed, yep, more. Either someone slept naked or friggin' sasquatch-man was in NY for the pizza. I grab a different pillow for her, because hers has hair on the top of it. Long day, already unpacked, IN the bed with my gorgeous chick, it is 12 midnight. There is no energy or time to try to fight the powers that be on this one. The hotel has one major responsibility, to provide a clean room. I'm no longer pulling punches on dirty sheets. That's the only thing they're in business to provide, clean sheets and a hot shower. All else is fluff. Fluff that we've become accustomed to, but still fluff. Go to NY? Sure! Stay here? Why not. This small hotel is great as somewhere to leave your luggage and sleep. If you are looking for a hotel that offers more than this then you will be disappointed. It's located within 5mins walk of two separate subway stations and 15-20min walk of Times Square. Central Park is on the doorstep and the surrounding area of the upper west side is lovely. […] The next road north is West 72nd Street where John Lennon lived! The hotel staff are very friendly and accommodating and were happy to charge my phone from the reception computer and take delivery of a UPS package before my arrival. The morning we woke up and went down to the cafe for breakfast(included), a deer ornament with display outside the window was covered with a just fresh falling of snow. what a delightful start to a peaceful, relaxing, friendly stay in a great quiet upper west side neighborhood atmosphere.

Tiny rooms even by NYC standards. If you just need a place to catch up on sleep this hotel will work fine. Very close to two subway stops and Central Park. Worked fine for my needs and the price was right. Plan on taking the stairs for extra work out. Elevator is slow.

Price: For a New York hotel, we got a super deal. Location: It was located in a quiet residential area, very close to a subway stop, and just a short walk to another major one. Walking back from the subway at night (I am a single woman with my 8-year-old daughter) I felt COMPLETELY safe. Terrific food options literally on the same block just a short […] walk west: Big Nick's (burgers and phenomenal pizza slices), a lovely Italian restaurant, what looked like a great higher-end Mexican restaurant and, if I remember correctly, a middle-eastern restaurant. And another, too, I think. Amenities: There was a cute little workout room that I didn't use. The breakfast was a fabulous convenience. This was no "continental" breakfast. Many breakfast options were offered: make-your-own waffles, toast, cereal, coffee, several different kinds of fruit, doughnuts, eggs, sausage, English muffins, instant oatmeal, several choices of juice, etc. Room: The room was smaller than small. I get that New York hotel rooms are going to be small, really. It was only me (a medium sized woman) and a very small 8 year old and we were tripping over each other, however. Drawers had to be closed in order to walk around the bed at all. Two adults would have a difficult time. Liked the size of our room at the comparable Park 79 of a year ago. Small, but we could actually move. No natural light as the window was against a brick wall. It was difficult to identify it was morning w/o looking at the clock. A little worn and run down, but not something I really care too much about. Room was very warm. Much warmer than I am used to during sleeping hours, but maybe there are some that would like that. Very decent flat screen TV in room. I didn't come to NY to watch cable, but it was nice at the end of the day. Nice, comfortable bed. Ample drawer space. I liked that there was a safe in the room. An odd brown tinge to water coming out of both shower faucet and bathroom sink faucet occasionally. It Läs mer

This was one of the most outdated hotels I've ever stayed in. The very first room we went to had the smell of vomit right at the front door so we had to get another room. The staff was very kind in getting us another room....but overall...yuk yuk yuk

don't expect much. We only spent one night and it was so close to Lincoln Center that it made our evening of dinner and the opera super easy to navigate. The room is VERY small and the pipes are super noisy. Lots of clanging and banging. However, despite the noise, I slept well. This hotel has not changed over to all white linens and duvets either. […] Questionable bed spreads and blankets still on the bed.
