Gästade hotell Lirico under 5 dagar januari 16- januari 20, 2012. Samtliga 5 personer som ingick i sällskapet var mycket nöjda med servicen, frukosten och rummen. Hotellet är välskött och läget är perfekt. Nöjda Romresenärer.

Bra och prisvärt rent och välstädat mycket sevice vänlig personal bra sängar (hårda) vilket jag gillar Nära till tunnelbana och bussar.

Mysigt hotell med bra läge för att utforska rom, samt gångavstånd till terminalen.

Centralt beläget hotell, i bra läge och med otroligt gulliga och pittoreska rum.

Jättetrevligt hotell. Nära till alla sevärdheter. Nära till restauranger o annat. Väldigt nära tågstationen o bussterminalen. Vänlig o hjälpsam personal på hotellet. Fungerande AC. Frukosten var väl inte så rolig. Saknade grönsaker bl.a. Ett hotell som vi varmt rekommenderar o kan återvända till. Rent o snyggt.

Ett mysigt litet hotell med väldigt trevlig personal. Rummet var tyst, det enda som hördes var när folk rörde sig i korridoren utanför. Dock var inte klimatanläggningen igång när vi var där. Vi sov därför med fönstret öppet och trafiken var livlig under de tidiga morgontimmarna. Kommer gärna tillbaka fler gånger.

Hotellet har ett bra läge med gångavstånd till Centralstationen samt flera sevärdheter tex Colloseum. Vårt rum var litet med fönster mot...ingenting samt helt ogenomtänkt möblerat. Garderobesdörrar gick inte att öppna beroende på sängbordens placering m m. Mycket löst fastsatt och bl a duschen var fel hopsatt. Bra pris och läge. Ok om man väljer att […] bara sova på hotellet. Litet hotell med bra läge. Gångavstånd till Termini, Colloseum, Spanska trappan, Fontana di Trevi. Vi stannade bara i två nätter. Vid en längre vistelse hade rummet möjligen upplevts som väl litet och trångt.

Nice hotell at a nice price

Vi bodde endast en natt så detta hotell passade oss bra då det ligger väldigt centralt. Servicen var jättebra. Vi fick frukost tidigt trots att den inte var öppen än. Rummet vi hade var dock i det minsta laget. Men ett helt ok hotell för en eller två nätter.

Stayed here one night based on many glowing reviews. I had to depart early next day due to early flight, so I did not have a chance to review the breakfast. First of all, it is in a nice area near train station. I usually pick hotels in this area when I am in Rome for work, it is convinient and catching a plane is easy with Leornado Express. Note to […] travelers who is interested in staying here: pack light. The entrance stair was a killer for me, quite steep and there are additional stairs you need to climb from the reception till the elevator. Room is clean and actually spacious for Rome standard. The AC in my room did not work well, a bit hot even at night. Room is clean, the wi-fi has much room for improvement. It is one of the reason I picked this hotel, it was not very stable at all. Nicely located, walking distance from landmarks. Like the breakfast buffet. The only thing that we had trouble with was the WiFi conection, It was fine wiith the laptop but wasn't strong enough for my cellphone.

Very nice hotel and good service staff.

This hotel is five minutes from Termini station which is close enough to walk, but far enough that it's not noisy and the neighborhood is good. There are not a lot of amenities, but I didn't go to Rome for hotel amenities. The wifi and breakfast was free which is better than some more expensive hotels. Yes the room is small and the bed is kind of hard, […] but that's typical of European hotels. Actually the bed wasn't bad. The staff is very friendly. It is walking distance to the Colosseum, Pantheon, and Trevi Fountain, but it's a longer walk and it's pretty easy to just take the subway. I would definitely stay here again. My wife and I stayed a full week at the Hotel Lirico. Our room was very satisfactory; clean, comfortable bed, good sized bathroom and bedroom. Good breakfast and internet were included (which was not the case at many other Rome hotels who charged an additional fee for both). The location of the hotel was just perfect; very short walk toTermini Station […] which gave us access to Rome's transportation hub and not too far of a walk to Coliseum/Forum or Trevi Fountain/Spanish Steps (which was our favorite location for eating and shopping). The hotel staff were all very friendly and helpful (and all spoke very good English). Tony and Massimo were especially helpful. Good recommendations for local restaurants with a little something extra provided by restaurant when you mention Tony's name. Hotel Lirico is not a resort hotel with pools, multiple restaurants and bars, and a huge staff waiting to jump at your whim, but it is a pleasant, clean hotel with a staff that felt more like friends than typical hotel employees. It is a perfect hotel for folks who are more interested in what Rome has to offer outside of the hotel than amenities inside the hotel. The Hotel Lirico is no luxury hotel but is very good value. It is very handily situated for the main sites and is within easy walking distance of the station, making transport links like airport buses, buses and metro easy to access and return to. The reception staff were very helpful and pointed out places and bus stops etc on a map they gave out. […] Handy local restaurants and shops. The room was clean and pleasant. V small bath and shower a bit wobbly but it worked and water was hot. Stairs only from the outside which might be a problem for some. The hotel location, cleanliness, comfortability and reception staff was all great. As others pointed out, the steps to the first floor reception make carrying luggage difficult, but this is typical of a number of hotels. The weak point was the breakfast. Difficult to find the actual hotel at the first time. But the location is quite central - very close to main national road and must-see sights. Breakfast is nice. Space is a bit small so try to aviod rush time with too many people. Room is quite comfortable and quiet. Given the fact that most of the time people will enjoy going out, it shouldn't matter […] that the TV lication is quite high in the room. Lift is small and slow. Very good hotel, room is small but very very clean. Staff are very friendly and helpful. If you have heavy baggages, there is a flight of stairs to work on to the lobby. All in all very happy.

Nice little hotel. The English speaking staff was very helpful and eased us into our first stop in Italy. They served a pretty good breakfast. The location was good - a short walk to the metro,and the Termini, a long one to the Colosseum - but doable for us older folks. The room was small but comfortable and clean with a good bathroom. just great..great location, wonderful staff, great breakfast...only draw back,,if you have a lot of luggage which we did there are about 25 maybe 30 steps to get to reception, after that there is a lift. only light bags, you cannot miss here

As described, the Lirico Hotel is right next to the Opera House, & is situated nicely not far from the Metro, trains , buses and trams so getting around is easy. It is very clean and the service is polite. A safe is available in the room at a moderate price.. On the minus side - this is not a place for the disabled or infirm. The promised assistance […] with suitcases was non existant, and bearing in mind that - yes there was a lift to take you to your rooms, but we had to climb 32 steps to get to it! Not good! There were no tea or coffee facities in the room which was annoying, and when we asked for tea in the room we were told to fetch it ourselves on three occasions. beware! no elevator to the hotel lobby which is located on the 2nd floor of the building with long staircase and shallow steps. not convenient for someone who travels with large and heavy suitcase! staff was very pleasant. speaks great english. but when i called from room for internet log in info, instead of giving me info over the phone, he said that […] i had to come down to the lobby and get a piece of paper from him. My husband and me were at this hotel for two days. It felt we were at home. The location is excellent and the staff were extremely nice. Very helpful with everything. We will stay there again if we visit Rome.

Convenient location, big enough and very clean room with a nice view on Opera house, good coffee and edible breakfast, perfect service

Our overall stay in this hotel was not bad. Our room was clean, nice toilet and comfortable bed. Breakfast is simple and nice with bread, juice, selection of jams, cheese, salami and ham. Coffee is made as you like it. 6-8 mins from termini station (but for the first time please ask people for direction), nearest metro stop Republica is just 5 mins […] by walk. Colosseum is 15-20 mins walk from this hotel. Hotel staffs are nice and helpful. Only we found a broken chair in our room and the flash of the toilet was also broken. Lift is very narrow and can’t fit more than 2 people at a time. But our overall stay was nice and would recommend this hotel to others. Läs mer

It is a large staircase to the reception but if you can handle it the staff is friendly, the breakfast is good, and the rooms are nice (though the bed was a bit hard). The location is decent as well.

Upon entering the hotel there are several steps to walk up to get to reception. This is not easy if carrying heavy luggage. Just at the door to reception is a single step. If you aren't mindful and careful when leaving the hotel it will get you. I fell down the step on the way out the door and the conceirge laughed at me and didn't ask if I needed any […] assistace of if I was alright. for a cheap hotel that is average this is it....only warning is if you have luggage...make sure to pack light arriving to hotel you will find no elevators to get to reception since is on second floor to get there you will find you will have to climb up the marble stairs then climb up again to get to the elevator to find it to be very small maybe one […] person and two luggage at the time. we stayed Oct 14, 2009 weather was cool but room seemed a little humid. other than that the room was good considering its walking distance to termini station. I wish I could rate this hotel higher, but I draw the line when I find a cockroach. My wife and I were able to check in early, which was great. We dropped off our bags, used the restroom and went out to do some touring. When we came back about six hours later the room smelled of sewer gas. We realized that, after using the restroom, we'd left the drain […] plug in the sink up (it was down when we initially came into the room) after washing our hands. We were able to put the plug back down and turn on the fan in the bathroom, which eventually got rid of the smell. Because the plug was down when we came into the room initially, it seems the hotel staff new about the problem, but we weren't made aware of it until we found out for ourselves. When we came back after dinner that night we found a large cockroach on the wall near the bed. I don't know much about cockroaches, but it was rather disgusting. On the plus side, the hotel was ideally located for being close to the train station. There was a very good restaurant just east of the hotel. The staff was very friendly. Läs mer

We liked the location of the hotel, it was an easy walk from the rail station with luggage and a convenient walk to all the sites you may want to see in Room. However, you had to drag your luggage up two floors before you could use an elevator to your room. I don't know if our room was smaller than most, but it only had just enough room to walk around […] the bed. とにかくスタッフが親切で感激です。英語も問題なく通じます。テルミニからも比較的近く、周辺にはレストランも複数あるので便利。部屋もキレイで快適です(シャワーの勢いは弱いですが…)。妻も気に入ったようで、またローマに滞在する際にはココを使いたいと思います。

Unser Aufenthalt war sehr schön, trotz der vielen Menschen. Zum Hotel wäre noch zu erwähnen, dass sich die Rezeption im 1. Stock befindet, die Stufen dorthin sehr steil sind ohne ausreichendem Geländer im unteren Teil, was für meinen gehbehinderten Vater doch ein Problem war. Aus der Hotelbeschreibung hätte ich das so nicht heraus gelesen. Weiters hat […] es in den Zimmern und im Bad eher gestunken (Abfluss, Kanal?), was mit zu hoher Konzentration an Desinfektion wettgemacht wurde; das Gemisch war dann auch nicht besonders. Was sehr positiv war: die Freundlichkeit und Zuvorkommenheit an der Rezeption; es war am Mittwoch kein Problem um 6.30 Uhr Frühstück zu bekommen, obwohl erst um 7.30 Uhr angeschrieben. Eu e minha namorada ficamos 3 noites nlo Hotel Lirico e foi tudo perfeito, e se vc estiver pensando em ficar nesse hotel, pode relaxar e fechar negocio rapidinho, pq realmente vale muito a pena

Toll, ein perfekter Standpunkt! Man kann alles bequem zu Fuss erreichen, hört die Kirchenglocken läuten und ist in 10 Minuten am Coloseum. Sehr netter Service und gute Empfehlungen! Auch das Frühstück ist sehr gut. Gerne kommen wir wieder, weil 4 Tage Rom leider zu schnell vergingen. adeus aus Portugal

Super morgenmad. Gode men meget små værelser. Rent og pænt. Ligger kun 10 min fra banegården, og i gåafstand fra alt det, man skal se, når man er i ROM. Nabo til operaen. Tæt på shoppe-gade. I receptionen mødte vi en rigtig venlig, hjælpsom og elskelig ældre mand. Han hjalp os bl. med et kort over byen og henviste os til en god restaurant, hvor han […] gav os et visitkort med så vi kunne få gratis lille drink. チェックインが遅かったせいもあり、シャワーのみの部屋になり、このシャワーがまた狭い！！ 部屋の窓も小さくて暗い感じが滞在中ずっと付きまといました。3つ星ですがもう少し小奇麗な3つ星クラスが沢山あるように思います。 場所はテルミニ駅からは少し遠い（歩くと）です。隣はオペラ座ですが何だかうらぶれた風情でしたね。ロビーが2Ｆなので荷物は持って上がるしかないです。冷蔵庫、ポット類も無くイマイチの印象でした。 中国からの客がかなりおられましたね。

Das Hotel ist besonders nett und günstig gelegen. Die Zimmer sind eher klein aber ausreichend, wenn man da ist um die Stadt zu besichtigen. Sie sind geschmackvoll eingerichtet und sehr sauber, die Betten keine "Hängematten" wie sonst in Italien oft üblich, sondern ordentlich und eher hart. Das Frühstück ist für italienische Verhältnisse sehr gut, es […] gibt Schinken, Käse, Marmelade, Eier, Cereals und verschiedene Säfte (diese allerdings nicht frisch gepresst). Die Gegend ist trotz Nähe zum Bahnhof in Ordnung, es hängen keine schrägen Gestalten herum, man kann problemlos abends heimkommen. Wenn man gut zu Fuß ist, kann man praktisch alle Sehenswürdigkeiten zu Fuß erreichen, aber Stationen beider U-Bahnlinien sind ganz nah. Wir hatten ein Zimmer vorne hinaus, und es war trotzdem angenehm ruhig. Vielleicht etwas verwirrend bei den Fotos: Das erste Bild hier ist nicht das Hotel sondern die gleich danebenliegende Oper. Et dejligt centralt hotel, hvor man kan gå rundt til alle de kendte serværdigheder. Kommer gerne der igen.

Ligger tæt på Rome Termini samtidig med, at hotellet både er i gåafstand til Metro og alle seværdighederne. Personalet er altid villig til at rådgive og give gode tips om spisesteder.

Отель хороший. Чистый и уютный. Все достопримечательности рядом. От вокзала Термини 3 минуты пешком. Рядом есть небольшой рынок с фруктами. Персонал приветливый, вежливый. Рекомендую

Бронировали номер для своей семьи - 2 взрослых + 1 ребенок-подросток - в последний момент накануне приезда, бронь подтвердили. В момент приезда оказалось, что нам на троих отвели DOUBLE , выспаться смогли с трудом... Спорить с индусом-ресепшионистом о правомерности таких действий было бесполезно - развоил руками, пояснял на доманом английском, что других […] номеров все равно не было...
