Lite dåligt skyltning på entrén. Men vi hittade direkt. Med en skeptisk början då vi såg trapphuset. Men övergick till glädje. Vi hade rum 22 som var helt fantastiskt, med öppet till nock och vackra takbjälkar. Det som var irriterande var telefonen som tutade hela tiden. Gatlivet utanför kunde vara störande och kyrkklockar runt om stan. Snabbt hjälpt med hörselpluggar. Badrummet låg precis utanför rummet. Det var ok. Det som fanns som negativt var att toalettsitsen var lös och sliten duschslang. Frukosten var enkel men ok. Takterassen använde vi flitigt, vart som en extra del av vårt rum. Då vi var två par som åkte så fick vi två rum på övreplan. Och det kändes som vi hade hela övervåning för oss själva med takterass och frukost servering. Förutom på morgonen. Kan och vill åka tillbaka och bo här.

Vi åkte hit på vår bröllops resa. Vi är mycket nöjda med allt på hotellet. Bra personal, mycket bra rum. Vi hade en mini svit. Frukosten var bra. Läget och närheten till San Marco platsen var perfekt.

Vid början av Canal Grande är Santa Croce beläget precis mittemot busstationen och tågstationen. Det finns ett stillsamt kvarter intill, men mycket opåverkat av besökarnas stim och stoj. Den vackra Ponte degli Scalzi är ett perfekt ställe att sitta och titta på den hektiska kanaltrafiken och det finns många fina kyrkor att utforska en bit ifrån det upptrampade turiststråket. Rialto-bron ligger endast en 10-minuters båttur eller promenad bort.

"Mycket bra centralt hotell"
Bodde en natt i hotellets annex som hade egen ingång. Rummet var litet men var fullt tillräckligt för en kort vistelse. Rent och fint inrett. Hotellet hade mycket bra läge med caféer och restauranger runtom och nära till tåg- och busstation. Bra frukost. Kan rekommendera!Verifierad gästrecension

"Nära bussterminalen"
Vi kom fram efter midnatt med bussen från Marco Polo. Hotellet hade ett mycket bra läge med enbart några minuters promenad från flygbussen. Hotellet ligger nära en av kanalerna! Kan rekommenderas!Verifierad gästrecension

Trevligt hotell med perfekt läge när man kommer med tex.buss eller taxi från flygplatsen. Lätt att hitta både till centrum och hem igen bland annars lite kluriga gator eftersom hotellet låg så nära busstationen. Frukosten var o.k,men kaffet var nog bäst. Det vore läge för en dansk bagare att flytta till Venedig och börja baka surdegsbröd och mörkt […] rågbröd, för det serverades med ljust bröd... Vi kommer tillbaks! "Hotell Olimpia, Venedig"
Positivt överaskad av hotellets standard. Rena och fräscha rum, trevlig trädgård, bra läge och god frukost. Vi bodde två separata nätter på hotellet, första gången i annexet och andra gången i hotellbyggnaden. Rummet i annexet var rymligare och trevligare (dock saknades hiss, antagligen därför det var billigare).Verifierad gästrecension

"Beautiful room, quaint hotel, close to transportat"
Stayed extra nights before a cruise and very glad we did. The hotel is right near the bus loop and very easy to get to. Good location to explore Venice from. A lovely Hotel in a great location. Arrived from airport on bus which was easy to book on line in advance or you can buy ticket from machine at airport. Hotel was easy to find from bus station and is close to train station and waterbus too so if you don't want walk back from St Marks Square get on the bus. "Value and Style at the Transport Hub"
This was our second stay at the Olimpia. It has style, good service and value. Because we were returning a car and had a great deal of luggage from a month of travel, we chose to stay close to the Piazza Roma transport hub which provides easy access to all of Venice on the ACTV Vapporetti System. "A pretty, reasonably priced hotel in a location."

"An enjoyable stay"
A lovely little hotel, we had a room up in the roof- compact but cosy. The hotel is in an excellent position if you are coming from the airport by shuttle bus- you can see it from the Piazzale Roma. That meant obviously that it was a bit further to get to St Marks square etc but we didn't find this a problem. "Beautiful room, nice staff, convenient location."
This is a great hotel in a very convenient location. Commute to the airport/train station takes a 5-to-10-minute walk. Main touristic attractions are 30 to 40 minutes away by walking, and much less if you choose to take the vaporetto (2 minutes away). The Olympia is very well situated! Really a 5 minute walk from the piazza le Roma and the train station. "Great Location!"
Great location! We took a local city bus at airport to city square drop-off point, and hotel was right there! We walked to it! And just a short, one-block walk to the "People Mover" that took us to the cruise ship. And their buffet breakfast was a wonderful, delicious and a very large selection surprise that even had a waiter to refill coffee, water, […] etc... The bathroom was also spacious. The hotel was closely located to the bus terminal and train station, which was perfect for our trip. The hotel was under renovation when we were there. The room was in a difficult location in the hotel, but the room was huge and had a nice view of a canal. The WiFi was available in the lobby but worked great. This hotel was located very close to both the train station and the bus terminal, making connections easy. The hotel was clean and the staff helpful, the room was clean and the beds nice. "Great location, watch out fo the steps"
This was a very fine hotel of its class. The staffs' English was very good, and they were very helpful. My room was in an annex to the hotel which did not have an elevator, but this was no problem for me, and the bellman helped bring my bags up stairs. The breakfast was a high point because they had scrambled eggs and a European style bacon on the menu. […] The location is only a short walk from the St. Lucia train station, and can be easily walked to. I wanted to visit the Church of St. Nicolas on the island of Lido. Looking at the map, it seemed that it would be impossible without a car. When I asked at the desk, they were able to give clear instructions on how to take the waterbus over to the island. The cab ride to the church was only 7.80 euros. It was fixed. There is a 20 euro 12-hour pass for the waterbus, and a person may want to consider that if one is moving around Venice. Finally, the downer was the canal bridge to the east of the train station. It does not have a ramp structure, and even though the steps are only 4-5 inches high, one has to carry one's bags up the bridge. Going down, with the small steps is no problem. Watch out for the folks who want to "help" you with your bags. They don't accept "no" easily. If they carry your bag, expect to be hounded by them for a tip. This hotel offers old world charm. Lovely decor, relatively large guest rooms, including bathroom (usually they are very small in Italy) very nice breakfast, great service, super location close to bus/train /water taxi terminals. Perfect location right next to Piazalle Roma therefore ideal for pre or post cruise stays in Venice. Triple Room was quite large for Italian standards. Staff were helpful and arranged transfer to airport, they also provide storage for bags when we arrived early from our cruise. "Great location for pre/post cruise."
This was a perfect hotel for our post cruise overnight stay. Located right across the canal from the bus station, there is only one easy bridge to cross with bags taking about 5 minutes to walk. After getting off the ship we were able to check in and drop our bags, then spent the day exploring Venice. Returning late afternoon, our bags were in our room. […] Our room was clean, quiet, and comfortable. We were able to make our 6:45am flight by leaving the hotel at 4:40am, walking to the bus station to take the 5am ATVO airport express bus to the Marco Polo Venice airport. This hotel is just one street/canal from the bus station, very close to the train station and cruise ships, yet you still feel like you are part of old Venice. The desk staff was friendly and helpful. The place was clean and well maintained. The breakfest buffet (included in our stay) was very nice. The room we had, on the top floor, was very small […] with a low ceiling - but was quite lovely and charming with a very nice modern bath. However, if you are over six foot tall you might have trouble with the ceiling height esp. in the shower. The elevator is TINY. never seen one so small, not much bigger than a large dumbwaiter. The hotel was in a great location. We could see it when we arrived by shuttle from the airport and were able to walk over one bridge with our luggage with no problems. The staff was friendly and helpful. We loved our room which overlooked the garden area where we ate our breakfast every morning. Breakfast was included with our room and was delicious. "Very convenient and clean"
We were staying in the annexe "dependance" section of the hotel which did not have a lift and the entrance/stair access was rather drab and slightly off putting. However, when we entered the rooms section, we were pleasantly surprised. Within our budget the room and separate bathroom exceeded our expectations regarding size and was very clean (cleaned […] daily, beds remade and new bathroom linen replaced daily also). We stayed for four nights in September 2012. Although away from the popular tourist attractions in Venice, this hotel made up for that with its convenient access to all transport links. Travel from and to the airport and access to the Piazzale Roma main vaporetto stop were virtually at the front door (or just a few steps away).
