My wife and I stayed 2 evenings at the W Mid-Town and loved it. The place was modern, clean and convenient to some great resturants. We loved the night club and bar areas and the room was perfect.

Being at a busy interception has its challenges so that wasn't a plus. However, the hotel was very nice, great service, & a very unique room.

I enjoyed everything about this hotel. Costumer service was great & close to everything. Once you park there is no need to go back to your car. Everything is around this hotel affordable & nice... Will stay again.

I was charged $400 per night to stay in a W hotel that looked more like a Motel. The hallways are dark, the colors are dreary, the structure looks like it needs to be renovated and the appliances and fixtures look outdated. My shower pipes made noise when the water ran and the drain wasn't working. I had to call maintenance to have them come up, but […] was told that I had to wait because there was only 1 maintenance person on duty. I was pleased with how the front desk (Tamara) handled the situation, and she apologized numerous times, and was also pleased with how the maintenance person (Mike) handled it, but the fact remains that the hotel needs to be renovated to look like a luxury hotel if you are charging $400 per night to stay there. For the price of the hotel the furniture was modern looking but cheap and in disrepair. Handles were broken on dresser and was all beaten up, sink in bathroom was loose. Lobby and rest of hotel are very nice but mistepresent room quality. Staff and service is excellent. Fix the rooms and it would have been perfect.

This is the second time we've stayed at W Atlanta. It's a perfect location for us as it's near my son when we visit. Friday evening there was a loud room party going on and one call to the desk and all became quiet after about 10 minutes. The staff is very attentive and accommodating. We will stay there again.

The hotel is well located and relatively new, but the stay wasn't the exciting experience you would expect from a W. The lobby seems cheap and unfinished. The building was an older Sheraton that was rehabbed and it feels old, although it's only been open a few years. Definitely a party hotel! I came for a bachelorette party and there was one right next door to us and a bachelor party or two down the hall. Try to get a room with even numbers! It'll give you an awesome view! Come to party. Not to sleep! Everything was great! We had an awesome time!

The dressing room was dark, the makeup mirror was broken. Heavy dirt in corners of bathroom. Shower was open and got the metal floor wet. We were gone all day and at 5:30 our room still wasn't clean. They gave us credit for breakfast, but room service got the order wrong although it tasted good. No coffee pot in room. Coffee for one was about $16 after […] all the charges and 22% gratuity. The staff kept asking how our stay is; no one knew how to improve it. Oh well, we will not be back. The staff was very attentive and courteous. Super location. Room was well appointed and young. Great beds and linens. Really made our antique buying trip to Atlanta a great experience.

Like all W's, Midtown W doesn't disappoint. Not only is the hotel beautiful, the staff is very friendly and helpful. Like most Midtown hotels, be prepared to pay for parking.

Well I'd have to say I have never given a bad rating except on one other W in south florida, and the only thing I'd say is that I was pretty upset with the spa/gym at this location. When I called before I stayed, I called and they said spa and gym were apart of the W at this location, and in fact it wasnt it was a seperate company "Bliss", this happened […] to by my engagement weekend and I was a little upset with this as I'm always impressed with W hotels and how much they knew of their property. Other than that I know all the other W hotels I have stayed at have been amazing, plus I was shocked they didnt send up something nice when I stated it was my engagement weekend as I'm a big SPG point member, and avid supporter, but that is just a personal opinion Läs mer

My husband and I were looking for a new place we could frequent as a getaway to treat ourselves and our specifications were location, luxurious and with nice amenities. We assumed that the W Hotel would be just the place as we love the skybar but were sadly disappointed when it came to the hotel. We paid $300 for a room for one night. Paint was chipping on the doors, and the vanity table was warped from water damage, dirty bathroom mirrors, hair in the shower and there was a very used tissue roll in the bathroom!!!! I haven't seen that at hotels we've stayed at for 1/3rd the price. I was expecting for the price I paid that it would be high end bit apparently that's not the case. Ordered room service and th food was great. I didnt bring toothpaste and the staff quickly brought me a toothpaste and toothbrush travel kit to my room free of charge. Decor qas amazing and th bar in the hotel was excellent.

The W was a great value for the price. The staff was very accommodating, even making eggs Benedict after breakfast hours. The beds are as comfortable as can be. The room was modern and unique and of high quality that you would think you are in a $400.00 a night room.

This is more than staying in a hotel overnight. This is an experience. The service was perfect - from the valet to room service to check-out. My only complaint: The room's mini-bar/food bar was a bit overstocked. It cluttered up the decor of the room and took up every bit of space in the refrigerator.

Over All I was pleased but was disappointed that there was only a shower. I wuld have really enjoied a tub bath. Food at Spice Market was not that great.

I have stayed in this particular hotel previously and noticed that the level of service this time around was not good compared to the first time I stayed. The food was terrible, especially room service, which is VERY expensive for what you get. The bedding was uncomfortable, which is strange since it is a W Hotel (the heavenly beds). what a disappointment!!.. I chose this hotel to host my family for the holidays, because it was the closest to my own condo in ATL. Arriving there with my family, I was ignored in the reception as we are not worthy to stay there. It was not welcoming at all. On the way back from our pleasant evening of cocktails at the Four Seasons and Lowes, we were […] greeted by the W doormen, who demanded our room keys to enter the hotel lobby (??) I was asking myself: if you need your room key to operate the elevator, why should we show the key to enter the hotel lobby?? It was pouring rain and we had to go through this humiliating ordeal, while in the other hotels in the vicinity NOBODY asked us where we were going. This was our 2nd stay at the W Midtown Hotel. My one complaint is that it is primarily a young crowd staying at the hotel and the 1st night of stay, I was awakened several times throughout the night with loud individuals in our hallway and some door slamming. Also the only thing the cleaning staff did was replenish towels and make the bed. Bathroom […] was not wiped down each day and empty dirty glasses were not removed or replenished. The W Midtown is a "party" hotel. Expect drunk people coming down the hallways all all hours of the morning. My friends had to switch rooms twice. First bc the room smelled of cigarettes and second because they found fresh "fluids" (pardon the crudeness) all over the ottoman. There were similar stains on my couch as well. Great hotel. Couple of things to be aware of - Apple Maps has their location wrong. Don't use Apple Maps on your IPhone to find it. Secondly, the Expedia website let me reserve a smoking room but when I arrived the entire hotel is smokefree. Not a problem but the website shouldn't be out of sync with reality like that.

I truely enjoyed the hotel and all the accomodations. The style of the hotel made me feel as if I was in a fantasy world. The only think that was not 100% admired would be the fact that the shower did not have a door and cold air gets in easily, even though the look is very sleek and modern. We love this hotel and will stay here for all our future trips to Atlanta. The location is excellent, the food and drinks terrific, and the service is great. I can't say enough about the view from the floor to ceiling windows but always ask and pay for the higher floors. I do wish they had a heated outdoor hot tub as we usually visit Atlanta in November. […] A small fridge in the room would be good too. Also we didn't find our favorite channel AMC on the TV.
