Hotell Hotel Roma Golden Glades Resort - Miami Gardens

To begin with, the hotel looks nothing like it does in the picture. The entrance signs and fountains are in shambles, the pillars in the front entrance are rotting. as I was parking a lot of "shady" characters were coming in and out of the hotel. The staff is very friendly but the condition of the hotel is outdated by at least 20 years. Ice machines […] not functioning, only one microwave on my floor. The carpets were damp and dirty. The odors was that of mildew and mold. Actually the a.c had some sort of mold growing from it. Ever since I slept there I've been having nasal problems. In conclusion, this hotels will give you the creeps and have you worried all night. Terrible, terrible hotel. It should be torn down. Läs mer

This hotel does not appear like the pictures. It is old and unkept. The woman at the front desk was very nice though. Check in was quick and the room seemed ok until i went into the bathroom and saw a roach on the counter. There was another surprise waiting for me when I went in the shower....another roach staring at me on the shower curtain. This made […] the stay worse. Luckily my stay was for only 1 night. The rooms were a good size, and very clean, the continental breakfast was a bit lacking but other than that the staff was very helpful and polite.

Price was good.

The hotel we awful the bed was very old and uncomfortable and it had no refrigerator or micrcowwave and it did not even have an Alarm clock in it I was very Dissatisfield and would never stay there ever agian.and they did not even serve COFFEE OR BREAKFAST til 7:30Am...

The room was not at all what i saw on the web Things did not work in the bathroom, the over all Building was not in good condition. It needs updating, Carpets are old and dirty. For the cost per night i was very disappointed.

Oh my God! What a dump. Lumpy beds, sour towels. Gross.

This was one of the worst hotels I have ever stayed in. When we attempted to contact them about a possible early check in no one answered the phone when we showed up to ask they were rude and said NO check in is 3PM even if the room was ready. So when we did finally check in only 1 elevator was working and wasn't to sure about that we had no idea where […] the stairs were because we would have felt safer taking them. We got into the room and tried to turn on a local channel, I tried calling downstairs to the front desk AGAIN no one answered the phone so I had to go down stairs to ask the question and they said oh no we do not have local channels they actually only had about 4 channels on the whole TV. The staff was rude and unwelcoming and the rooms were nasty and there was blood on the mattress and all they did was turn it over but you could still see it when the sheet rode up. I would NEVER recommend this hotel to anyone ever not even my worst enemy. Läs mer

This facility was conviently located for us.

I booked last minute and this was the only hotel reasonably priced in the MIami area. It was still 20 min from Miami Beach, but I didn't want to use up my whole budget on the hotel. There was no internet in the rooms and the TVs were bad. The rooms were old and felt unclean. Only if there is nothing else available. The ladies at front desk were nice, nothing else about the hotle I enjoyed. everything and every room in this hotel smelled!!! never again.

Bad choice

This hotel is horrible should have no star at all. The staff were rude, there were no towels, toilet paper, tissue, no iron and they don't answer calls. There was no internet in the room either, no coffee maker. The bed was squeky and the bedsheets did not fit the bed. HORRIBLE.

the carpet was dirty, the bed was uncomfortable and make a lot of noise .one of the towel had two yellow spot on it . Thank God i brought my own towels and sheets . Please put some money in that hotel to fix it. The hotel has mold and crack everywhere. " PLEASE GIVE THE LOBBY A MAKE OVER."

Upon checking in I was asked for my DL & Credit Card so the hotel could have a copy on the same paper. This is a 2 star, at best, hotel and they want a copy of my CC & DL for "incidentals". They don"t have room service,or mini bars, & everyone has their own phones for communications. This is EXACTLY how people's identity get stolen. Then when I questioned […] the desk clerk about NOT having room service to bill my room "incidentals", he said the they also require a $50.00 deposit in case something gets damaged in the room. When I checked out I asked for the copy because I don"t want a copy of my information lying around for a potential ROGUE employee to obtain and sell it. Identity theft is rampant in Florida and I don't want to give thieves an easy target. I will NOT be staying at this hotel again for this reason. Läs mer

my stay was fine but the only thing was.the room i reserve i did not get.but other than that my stay was satisfied.

I had an issue with my TV the first night. The king rooms were all taken, but the night supervisor changed my room with no problem. I was upgraded to larger room for no additional charge. The rooms and the lobby was clean and fresh smelling. I will be staying at Hotel Roma from now on when I visit Miami.

I was here on business and didn't get any sleep. This hotel is more of a pay by the hour hotel and is referred to as such by the locals. Needless to say i didn't get any sleep the only night i stayed there. I did an early check out and stayed a little farther from where i need to be. I will NOT be coming back to stay again or recommending it.

What is shown in the pictures is not what you will encounter. I checked in went to the room and checked right out.

the phone on room not work, the ac quick working during night, the next door guest was very bad she start a 0400 am to put TV loud, make very bad noisei was ther for a convention wich i canot attend because no en off sleep very old hotel .alot profanity and insult for the next door room she even say was going to figth with me or my family.

The staff was really nice, but it was kind of a disappointment from there. The room was fine except the matresses really needed to be replaced, rooms had no internet connection, and the TV only offered about 10 chanels. The outside of the Hotel was an entirely different story however, very run down, concrete columns are deteriated and crumbling, the […] "white" columns out front were green with mold and door frames were very dirty. Overall, the things I found wrong were clearly cosmetic, a little elbow grease and money and it could be brought back within weeks and be a very nice place to stay again. Can't do anything about the neighborhood though, Maybe suggest a security guard in the parking lot overnight to give the customers a feeling of security. Läs mer

Its a very nice hotel quite comfortable and i would recommend to others and the rates are excellent for a person on a budget

Though this hotel is located close to a shady neighborhood, its grounds are spacious enough, and removed enough from the highway to give it a secure and removed feel. The hotel was indeed quiet and didn't smell or have bugs like many of the hotels in Miami at a similar price range. The room was very spacious and everything was generally clean though […] there were many dust bunnies that had not been vacuumed under the bed or around the night stand for what seemed like months. The bad part was the bedding. The mattress pad was not big enough for the king bed which meant you were sleeping on a sheet on top of a bare mattress. The AC unit was blowing at the bed, and you couldn't adjust it to circulate more around the room. I moved furniture around to change the air flow to make it more comfortable. Despite these few inconveniences and flaws - overall it was still a much better option that other hotels in the area. I'd give it a "sure, why not" rating. Läs mer

Although this hotel is a little outdated, it was fine for our overnight stay. The room was clean and comfortable. The hotel could use some up grading as it is old, but for the price, it was fine for us.

We needed a hotel for one night and this was the cheapest choice.... The hotel has internet only in the lobby, the rooms are big, the pool looks great. The breakfast is really bad... but it was the cheapest option and just for one night!

the only reason why anyone would stay in this hotel is that its close to sun life stadium. There is nothing to do in miami gardens first of all, and second of all there is nothing surronding this hotel. It is also in a very bad area I wouldnt recommend walking around this neighborhood at night. I am from NYC and if I am saying that its a bad neighborhood […] you can bet its a bad neighborhood. I'm a college student who was traveling with friends for a football game - so for convenience and price we were OK with the accommodations. Anyone with higher taste/comfort requirements than a group of 20-somethings, I would recommend looking elsewhere.

Outside of hotel more than acceptable, but room inside was next to disgusting if you took a real look. Housekeepking obviously doesn't vacuum with any regularity. My room had big and small bits and chunks, of this or that, here and there. Bed was bare sheets on matress(!), nothing plush here. Weird big projection TV right at foot of bed. When leaving, […] I met the maid on her way in to clean, with no vacuum in sight. Had to wait at empty desk for clerk 5 minutes to check out. Cheap, but you get what you pay for. (next to nothing). It was a cheap easy fast place to stay... in our room the lights (lamps) didn't work right, they were all shorted out along with the hair dryer in the bathroom. The front desk offered to switch us rooms, but we were already ready to go out on the town... so it would be pointless. I normally do not give any negative feedback about anything, but as you asked now... I booked it due to location and the outside pictures (on the web) which were great. Inside it needs a lottttttttt of updates and cleaning as well as services. No microwave, fridge in the room. Iron press can be obtained at an "additional security" amount. Is it possible to put "0 stars"???? This hotel is NOT a hotel, it is less than a MOTEL. They said the parking is free, but i know some guest that had their cars broken... They said the breaskfast will be included, THIS IS NOT FOR NOTHING, it is because the breakfast in inside a room of the MOTEL: they took a free room and put the breakfast like cereales, […] some milk, hot water to do YOUR PROPER BREAKFAST. I thought there will be a service, that somebody will guide you, in fact you enter and you have to look for the tea, the milk, the orange juice and THATS IT. There are only 4 tables with 4 chairs in the room. And if there is no place, you have to wait outside, in the reception!!!!!!!!!! what the HELLLLL!!! Inside the room, Rooms were old and smelly, a/c was unplugged and moldy, lamp shades torn, bad tv channels, false ad online and old worn out paint. HORRIBLE HOTEL, DO NOT CHOOSE IT PLEASE. To finish, when we had the room, we saw the curtain torned, so he told them in the reception, they just answer with "THANK YOU"... How bad the staff is!!!!! Stay away from this hotel. It has resort in its name but not even close to a being a resort. Located in the middle of an industrial park. NO amenities in area. RESORT ITS NOT

Nothing worked right... I had to go to the 4th floor just for some ice. My TV blank in and out.. No one wanted to change my room again since they changed it once because the remote was missing ans the dresser was broke... just terrible all the way rounse
