Close to train station from airport! No need to take a cab, just take the train. Hotel situated very close to everything, walking distance, however doesn't feel safe to walk outside after dark, but that goes for everywhere downtown. Room very cold, heated up by a very noisy fan, smelled strongly of cleaning products. Breakfast ok. For the price a very decent 3 star hotel. You get what you pay for, just remember tax not included, so a 3 night stay said should cost 280$ but ended up costing 310$

Had a really pleasant visit at the Olive 8. It feels like it´s brand new and the location is great, smack down in central Seattle with attractions such as the Pike Place market within walking distance.

A design hotel with an artsy touch five minutes from Space Needle. Clean rooms with all commodities needed (flatsceen,wifi, safe deposit, iron board, espresso machine, AC etc). The room was quite big, with a large queen size bed. The staff is very service minded, and the breakfast menu had a lot of alternatives and held high quality. I highly recommend this hotel, you get very much in relation to what you pay. The only downside for some might be that there is no restaurant or bar at night time, so the hotel lobby is quite calm, a bit to calm for somebody that is looking for some pulse. Altough the AC was doin its job, i could have had more in flow of fresh air to the room.

Rakt igenom en mycket bra hotellvistelse. Bra beläget, med kort gångavstånd till allt du kan tänkas se. Trevlig personal och mycket bra rum.

"Nice place, but noisy."
The rooms were clean, but smelled due to age. The building is older, but the interior finishes are updated. Service is good, and the hotel shuttle service travels FREQUENTLY and works well. This hotel worked perfectly for our needs. It is within walking distance of the airport and is surrounded by several places to eat. "Great room but very noisy"
The room was great. The only problem was the plumbing. I didn't get much sleep because every 20 to 30 minutes there was a guest flushing the toilet, taking a shower or turning on the sink. "Quick overnight stay between flights"
The customer services was excellent - only 10 minutes from the time we called them from the airport to the time we were waiting at the elevator to go to our room. Quick friendly transport and even faster checkin which was very important at 12:30 at night! "free shuttle to the mall and back"
This was a fantastic overnight on a way South for Spring Break! We got in very late but the check-in was fast and efficient. We bought snacks from the check-in counter and quickly received a rollaway bed that we needed in our room. The beds were large and very comfortable. The best part was the hotel stowed our luggage past check-out time and provided […] us with a shuttle to the mall and back to get our bags. Main thing that keep this from being perfect is a lack of parking we had to drive around for 10 min for someone to leave they never did so I asked the shuttle bus company and they let me park in a area that wasn't even a parking spot.Verifierad gästrecension
"Red lion regret"
Selected this hotel due to proximity to the airport to pick up family. As soon as I walked in the lobby it smelled like cleaning chemicals, the Mouldy smell in the low ceiling hallway on fifth floor was even worse. The curtains smelled of bleach and the harsh detergent from the bed linens stung the eyes. Add paper thin walls and an inattentive host […] at check in = will never stay here again. The stay was great but my Deputy said he had to pay for parking his patrol car in your parking lot and when I had booked the room for him I called and they said they would waive the fee if he asked. He asked but he was turned down the way we see it with a marked patrol car in your parking lot I would think it would be a deterrent for crime and therefore […] Law Enforcement should be exempt from those fees in the future. I send a lot of our deputies to training in the Seattle area and book with Red Lion but that might be a factor to consider about choosing a different hotel expecially when some of their training are sometimes 2 weeks in length. We have stayed here 3 times now as we've had 6am flights out of SeaTac. All three times the room and especially the bed has been very clean and comfortable. We have a small child (now 2 1/2 yrs) that has been traveling with us each time and the hotel has been very quick to provide a clean pack and play. The rooms are generous in size and the extra pack […] n play fits nicely without cramping the room for my husband and I. Definitely will continue to stay here on our trips through SeaTac. While we live in the area, we wanted to be close to the airport. The staff was knowledgeable, the hotel was spotless, and the shuttle that operates every 5 - 10 minutes, even at 4 am, made this the perfect stay. If I fly before 8 am, I usually stay at a hotel near the airport. Red Lion is good for that. They have a MasterPark attached to the building and a shuttle that leaves every 10 minutes or so. The Red Lion was nice, but the room temperature system is terrible. The room was clean, and the staff was pleasant. The location is perfect right off he air-port, and near a few nice places to eat. "No wake-up call...missed flight!"
I have stayed at this hotel many times. It is a great location for the airport. I have always had a wake-up call but this time the hotel FAILED to wake me and I missed my flight!
