Hyfsat bra för en lagom peng. Frukost sisådär men gott kaffe. Mycket cenralt beläghet vid Rialtobron. Tyvärr slitet så en del saker på rummet var trasiga, exvis duschkabinens dörrar som hängde löst så de gick inte att stänga, aircondition kaput, en pall i badrummet tappade benet när vi flyttade på den, lite trist och vi sa till men....

Väldigt små rum och dålig täckning på hotellets WiFi. Läget på hotellet är otroligt bra. Personalen mycket trevlig och rena rum. Lugnt och trivsamt litet hotell.

Bra hotell för en vistelse i Venidig. Nära till alla de stora sevärdheterna. Enda nackdelen var frukosten som var mycket dålig.

Perfekt läge intill Rialtobron, som är en utmärkt utgångdpunkt för promenader åt alla håll, båtresor och uppletande av rimligt prisvärda matställen. Lätt att hitta efter båtresan med lolkalbåtarna. Gemensam balkong med sittplatser utåt Canal Grande också ett plus. Hårda sängar. Mager frukost, inga färska bullar eller frukt.

Hotellet var väldigt charmigt med personlig stil och läget så centralt det kan bli. Bra allmänna utrymmen ifall man vill vara på hotellet men inte på rummet. Personalen trevlig och hjälpsam. Rummet var väldigt litet men helt okej. Sängarna var dock väldigt hårda och var inte alls bra för min rygg.

Locanda Ovidius har perfekt läge nära Rialtobron. Man har nära till vaporetto, gondol, restauranger m.m Hotellet är litet, men mysigt. Hotellpersonalen var alltid trevliga, glada och hjälpsamma. Vårt rum var gammeldags inrett, men med modernt badrum. Rent och fräscht. Rummet var litet, men helt ok storlek om man inte tänkt spendera dagarna på rummet. […] Den allmänna balkongen ut mot Canal Grande var verkligen enastående. Tack vare den saknade man inte ett dyrare rum mot kanalen. Det enda minuset var frukosten. Väldigt litet utbud. Men vi skulle helt klart bo här igen trots den. Läs mer

Ett trevligt hotell med bästa läget 100 meter från Rialtobron samt nära till båt "hållplatsen" (man slipper dra väskorna genom trånga gränder). Även om vårt rum var i minsta laget uppvägdes detta av att det fanns ett allmänt vardagsrum med balkong med fantastisk utsikt över kanalen och alla båtar och gonoler. The best thing about Ovidius is its location. Its pretty much the perfect location to explore Venice by foot from. Standard, cleanliness, breakfast etc are all average. Staff are friendly. One minor problem is occasional street noise early (around 7 AM) mornings as nearby restaurants prepare for the day.

Hotel Locanca Ovidius uppfyllde absolut våra förväntningar. Läget var perfekt helt intill Rialtobron och med utsikt över Canal Grande. Vi hade ett 3-bäddsrum där extrasängen var skön. Frukosten var dock inte så kul...Gick att äta men inget speciellt. Mysig liten allmän balkong med utsikt över kanalen.

Room interior probably looked the same in 1700 and may have been the same fabric on the walls. Looked moldy in spots but may have just been really old. No smell otherwise. Bathroom was more updated. Wifi is extra and only works in the breakfast area - disappointing. The hotel's condition was a little bit worse than I was expecting for the ratings I had seen and the price of the hotel. But everything is more expensive in Venice, and more expensive to keep up, so I can't say it was terribly surprising. The location was great, just down the canal from the Rialto bridge. Very close to the Rialto market. The wi-fi was […] a pretty big rip-off. We had to pay 5 Euro for a wi-fi password that only worked in the common areas. So we paid 5 Euro to use wi-fi when there is a computer available anyway. The wi-fi showed up on devices in our room, but the connection was so slow I just used my 3G on my phone. Läs mer

I've stayed in some really wonderful places in many parts of the US and Europe , New York, Barcelona, Niemes, Split, and Cancun to name a few. This place will stay in mind as one of my favorites! Very centrally located. View of the Rialto bridge from the hotel. Free breakfast was good but with few options. Rooms were comfortable. Very helpful staff but they charged me 5 euros for wifi. But I will help you save 5 euros for a gilato. The password is - hotelovidius

It was a lovely experience. The location was great as it was next to Ponte Rialto. The breakfast was yummy and the view was amazing. I have to say that the breakfast hours were from 8 to 10:30 however I had to check out around 7 am so they made sure that the breakfast was ready very early morning. This was very nice of them.

We had a wonderful time in Venice. The hotel was perfect for us...great location and staff. We were able to leave our luggage there prior to and after the check in/out times to accomodate our cruise and train schedule. The Staff was also helpful in making recommendations...fabulous restaurant nearby. They served a delicious and relaxing breakfast. A basic hotel in an excellent location, good views from the breakfast room balcony (better than the breakfast). You get what you pay for here everything is okay and it is a comfortable hotel to use as a base to explore the wonderful sights of Venice. Don't expect too much and you will not be diappointed. We took the cheapest room and it was the cheapest of any of the hotels I could find. As expected, the room was tiny but had the amenities including a tv. Everything worked. The best part was the location only a few steps from the main canal. I would recommend this hotel based on the value.

Fantastic location and excellent staff, who were incredibly helpful and very pleasent. Decor was in keeping with the whole Venice experience - shabby [but not too shabby] chic. Only slight downside was that our room was a tad on the 'shoebox' side, but not deal buster. This is a well kept and characterful hotel. If you prefer modern, spacious, glittering hotels, with restaurant and bars, this is not for you (though bars and plenty of trattoria are just round the corner). This hotel had the best views on the Grand canal from the terraces. The rooms were descent. The only downside was that it was a hike from the train station We walked - bad idea (take a water bus it's only 2 stops). The Hotel was great, GREAT location - close to the Rialto Bridge and St. Mark's Sq.

The staff at this hotel were absolutely great. We definitely received great customer service. Nothing was too much trouble. On our day of departure we were able to use the shower facilities and hotel lounge area. This was brilliant as we had a late evening flight. Great location, overpriced, breakfast shocking and not worth payin for. Toilet flush kept running, television very very old and small, air conditioning you can not control you have to ask person in reception to adjust, turn on, off etc.

The location of this hotel was very conveniently located almost next to the Rialto Bridge where it was very easy to access vaporetto's (water bus), water taxis, gondolas, restaurants, and shopping. The room (triple) was quite tight with a cot squeezed in for my son but we didn't spend much time in the room anyway. Although the room had no view, the […] hotel did have a nice little balcony overlooking the Grand Canal and the Rialto where we could relax with a glass of wine and watch the world go by at night. The only thing that was a little awkward was that we were required to return the room key (no scan cards) to the front desk everytime we left the hotel and pick it up when we returned. Very disappointing! Our room was VERY DIRTY, stained carpet, chipped paint, light fixtures were bent and falling off the walls. The toilet seat was not fastened well and moved whenever anyone sat on it. Mold and water marks on the ceiling. We asked for a water view and got a view of a dark alley. The lift was not working and had to lug our luggage up […] three flights of stairs. Stairway and reception was dark and dingy. I felt like crying. On a more positive note, it was in a great location and the views from the breakfast room and sitting room were outstanding of the Grand Canal.
