Room layout planned by someone who has never stayed in one. Only one person on duty at the desk. hair dryer didn't work. Bed very comfortable
Toilet, Telephone and TV did not work.. had to rig TV to function. They handed me a plunger for the toilet! Telephone never worked. Rain came in through leak by window - heavy! Area all peeling adn discolored so it wasn't a new problem. Will never stay there again - too many newer hotels in the area.
Our stay was comfortable. The hotel was clean. The only problem was the toilet had backed up, but there's almost no way that they could have known about it prior..

"COMFORTing Suites"
This hotel was great - especially for the price.... Sherrie, the front clerk was friendly and informative. The weather was bad the night I stayed - there were tornado warnings in the area - I felt the staff were well prepared to handle the situation if needed. "Nice Hotel, Great Breakfast"
We enjoyed this hotel, the beds were so comfortable, even the sofa sleeper. I usually struggle to get good sleep in hotels, but this was very nice. Also a great price!
"Comfortable and friendly staff"
We were just looking for a place to stay on our way elsewhere, so weren't expecting much. It was comfortable, clean, fairly large, and the staff was very friendly. Only issue was our heater made a lot of noise all night. Overall a nice room for the price.

"Internet Problems"
I had problems with the internet both days and the front desk could not help. They gave me an 888 number to contact and both times it was an authentification issue. Evidently, the hotel staff did not know this should automatically work and did not know how to resolve it. The air took about 15 minutes to ever kick on at all - not even the fan would blow […] for 15 minutes. Also, a towel had previously been used that was hanging on the bar. Läs mer
"Great hotel - very comfortable"
We've stayed at hotels that weren't this good that cost more money. Beautiful hotel, beautiful furnishings with all the things you need: comfortable bed, microwave, coffee maker, fridge, hair dryer, iron and ironing board, and a hot breakfast. We will stay there again. Tommy at the front desk was very welcoming and helpful - we appreciated him.

"Just Ok"
Ice Bucket had a old tooth brush and tooth paste container in it. ( Gross ) Bathtub drain is stopped up and Air conditioner did not work! Other than that the room was nice from the naked eye....

"A Slumber House with Comfort"
Everything just fell in place at the time I booked this facility. The price was fair, the room spacious and clean. It came with all the minor comforts such as a refrigerator, micro-wave, TV and a small half wall that separated the living room from the bedroom that made the room feel larger than what it was. "The Hotel in McAlester, OK"
The service, convenience, and helpful personal was second to none. We plan on using Comfort Inn's or Suites when ever possible. Just simply outstanding. L.M.

"Comfort Suites McAlester"
We had reserved 3 rooms with 2 queen beds. They didn't have but 1. We had to take 2 kings. The lady at the front desk said that Hotels.com just books what people want with out checking with the hotel. I believe they just gave away our rooms.
"Nice place"
This hotel is easy to get to and the rooms were nice and roomy. Comfortable beds, pet friendly. Easy access to highway and food, etc. While McAlester isn't the most exciting place, this is a good hotel to spend a night in.

Instructions for microwave would be nice. Had a difficult time getting it to work. The coffee pot didn't work well. With these two exceptions we had an enjoyable stay.
"Clean crisp and sharp"
A nice clean efficient hotel with a decent free buffet breakfast. Staff very nice and cordial. No problems. easy to get in and out of.

"comfortable but....."
The room was comfortable and fairly nice. Wall paper was peeling in a few spots. This would explain the reason the maintenance guy attempted to come into our room thinking it was empty. He was very apologetic. The bed was wonderful. Pool was dirty and hot so we decided we wouldn't swim. Breakfast was awesome. The staff was about half and half the maid […] was rude when we told her we didn't want our room cleaned, no one was at the front desk when we arrived at 3pm We had to clear our throats to get someones attention. But the desk clerks were friendly, so were the ladies serving breakfast. Also it was in a great location to an array of restaurants. Overall our stay was good minus a few things. Our room was large and comfortable. The floors did not look like they had run the sweeper. However, everything else appeared clean. Would stay there again.

"Billing"
I was billed twice for my room, once by expedia on Mar. 26 and once by Comfort Inn of Mcalester Ok on Mar. 27. I discovered the error while viewing my laptop mastercard acct. In a subsequent phone call to the Mcalester Comfort Inn, I was told that my double billing problem was "taken care of." However, my mastercard acct still shows the double billing. "Comfort suites is old construction,bad maintenance"
1. I stayed in hotel for 5 days and as I was working nights so I asked front desk if they could get my room cleaned up at around 5 PM and they refused as their houskeeping crew left at 5.So my room was not cleaned for 5 days.I used to get my room cleaned at 5:30 PM when I stayed at Holiday Inn in same town. 2. I had to extend my stay and was too tired […] to move to another hotel so I told them to clean my room and I will continue my stay there.This was 6:30 AM nd I kept waiting in lobby till 10 PM to get my room cleaned and lost 3 hours on my sleep time which sucks. 3. "Pleasantly surprised"
I was pleasantly surprised by the room in this hotel. It was spacious and the bed was on risers, which I've never seen in this level of hotel. Everything was clean and comfortable.

"Comfort Suites McAlester, OK"
Room was awesome. Very spacious. The only downside is the "business center". Need to print out a word document in an email attachment while on business trip and their printer didn't work. Front desk just shrugged shoulders. Breakfast is VERY disappointing.
