This was our second stay at Alpine Lodge and we were not disappointed this time either. This is a very good B&B with a lovely room and very nice breakfast. The owner is friendly and helpful and is looking after her guests in a welcoming way. Absolutely a place that I would recommend to friends.

Stannade en natt på väg till Old Trafford. Lättillgängligt från motorvägen och rent på rummen. Hyfsat bra frukost. Mycket bra för det priset jag betalade. Rekommenderas.

"Great for an overnight stop with no frills"
Clean room, on the small side for four of us but fine for a short break. Nice breakfast and a Harvester close by. We used it as a base for Alton Towers and were very happy that we did. Clean and comfortable. Friendly staff. Very nice breakfast buffet. Although our room overlooked the bins and glass recycle bins and a busy road it was really peaceful - must be triple glazed !! "Simple, clean, effective"
A decent hotel with friendly staff. The rooms and communal areas were clean and comfortable, if a little basic. The surrounding area is basically a business/retail park, as well as Stoke City FC's ground, so isn't the most exciting place. my friend and i were pleasently surprised at the high quality of the room, service & food. From the friendly reception team the ease of getting round the hotel, clean and very comfy room. "Good hotel close to Alton Towers"
Really good hotel. Check in easy. Room all made up by the time we arrived. Very clean, tea and coffee provided. We had children and a ground floor was given to us. The Harvester is next door to the hotel so we ate there in the evening. Overall well worth the money.Verifierad gästrecension

"Control your kids!"
I have stayed at this hotel before and always found it pleasant and comfortable but this time it was spoilt by the number of kids being allowed to run riot round the bar, reception and great room areas. I, like some other guests, had found a quiet corner to sit in only to be disturbed by kids runniong round screaming playing hide and seek. The staff could not be nicer, the room was very nice, The bed was dreadful. i have stayed in this hotel in the past and found it perfect, but this time it was not. Don't stay in room 203 the beds are well past there sell by date, Very Uncomfortable. Hope holiday Inn Express are not letting there standards slip.
