We stayed for a long weekend in order to attend my cousins weeding. The pool service was sometimes slow but everybody had great disposition and very friendly staff. We visited December 14-17 and there were very little people in the hotel. We ate at the Tabachi twice and received outstanding service. The menu is limited but the food is good. The offer with the childrens food included makes the cost benefit factor an excellent choise It is an excellent hotel, mainly the service is very good. The all day parking is very expensive compared with the tariffs in Mexico.

I had a very nice weekend; the hotel has good facilities, there are a couple of very good restaurants, in general the location is fine to those looking for a peaceful place. Kind and personal service from hotel's staff. On the other hand, some parts of the hotel need major remodeling soon.

The hotel had a very "small" feel, the units were quite private, and had a good mix of gardens, pools, restaurants spread throughout the complex. It is an old hotel, but it was designed for relaxing a bit more than 50 years ago and it still works great for that purpose. Great balance between vegetation, architecture, number of rooms and facilities. Several pools give a good sense of overall spacing. We were an extended family group of 12, including our family of 5 (2 parents, 2 teenagers, 1 child). The […] hotel has aged nicely and the remodeling has been done quite well, respecting its architecture. Maintenance is awesome around the public areas, including gardens. Very good for families that want to relax, has also a nice playground area for little ones. Not a hotel with water slides, lazy rivers and the like, but pools and access to the beach are great. Also, not attractive to wild and loud crowds. A few improvement areas: 1. I cannot longer understand hotels without wireless internet connection with our digital lives and toys, should be available anywhere and free. 2. Menus need to be modernized. Nothing in the pool area was appealing to current tastes, just hot dogs and burgers, when it could have been more interesting mex fare; snacks were fries or fries... really? No healthy options... carrots/jicama/cucumber with lime and hot sauce? . . . nowhere to be found. 3. The pool has to have every single tile in place. With such great effort on maintenance... how could the hotel overlook a few tiles missing in such a visible area such as the main pool? Overall, a very hard to beat classy place for the price. The hotel have many pools, so you can have privacy or you can be around many people (depending on your plan). Service is very good and food quality is just ok. We had a great time here.

My family (wife and 1.5 year old) and I stayed at one of the villas. Our experience was excellent. From the very welcoming staff (who remember your name and always greet you with a smile) to the quality of the food and crew in the restaurants. Hotel was pretty empty when we got there. Staff told me that it is the low season at the moment. We took the hotel bus to have dinner at the Fairmont Princess (next door) and there was only few people there as well. My husband and I stayed in a room that has not been renovated and the size, comfort and cleaness did not impress me. I tried switch the […] air conditioning on but the smell of mold coming from it made us to sleep with windows open instead. Staff is very friendly and the service is almost exclusive with only few guests around. The hotel is very pleasant once your are out of the room though. You can enjoy a nice view from wherever you go. The "quiet pool" is perfect for couples and it is easy to get drinks and food from the staff. The restaurant (buffet) has good breakfast but it was closed at night. The bar next to the pool opens until 6pm and the ala carte restaurant was open from 6pm til late (11' ish). The beach is very pleasant (perfect temperature) and quiet. The vendors come all the time but you get use to them at some point. There is also a 24h delicatessen for snacks, magazines and drinks. Stayed at the Pierre Marques for a couple of days with family and parents on March 22nd-25th. This hotel is by far less crowded that the sister Fairmont Princess. Had pool basically to ourselves and a handful of other guests. Atmosphere is very quiet and relaxing. Staff was always very courteous and extremely attentive to our requests. Booked a room […] that had been recently renovated. Even though there are some aspects of the hotel which tend to show aging, I would definitely conclude that maintenance is very good overall. Breakfast buffet without being overly lavish is plentiful and pretty much offers a little of everything. Beach is quiet and not overcrowded unlike some of the hotels located on Playa Revolcadero. We had a wonderful time at the Fairmont Pierre Marques, Acapulco. However, our arrival was not very fortunate because the hotel was very full and although we had booked a Deluxe Ocean View Room, the first two days we had to stay at room 235 which has a view to the roof of the Terraza restaurant. Two days after our arrival they moved us to room 229 which has a stunning view to a pool with a cascade and the ocean at the background. Our trip turned out to be a marvelous vacation. We stay at least 3-4 times a year at the Pierre. Luxurious, relaxed & family friendly environment at the same time. Doesn't get crowded in high season because its infrastructure is perfect for the amount of guests it can accomodate. ALL WAS PERFECT. MAIDS FORGOT TO REPLENISH THE COFFEE AND TEA, BUT MGMNT QUICKLY REPLACED BOTH. MOLE CHICKEN WAS EXCELLENT FOR DINNER. KIND OF CREEPY THAT WEATHER WAS PERFECT BUT BEACHES EMPTY. The hotel has at least 50 years old and even if it looks that renovations have been done there are some aspects they should also take under consideration. For example, the furniture in the room is good but a small and old TV instead of a medium size flat panel would be much appreciated. Very desapointed our room did not have mini-bar, just an empty […] fridge and not even a courtesy bottle of water, you have to pay for it! I was undecidede between recommending or not the hotel because despite of the downside the rate was very competitive but I decided not to as they compensate the rate for EXTREMELY AND RIDICULOSLY EXPENSIVE food, beverage, hotel store, parking, etc... the money you might save on the rate, you well exceed it on the services (and we did not drink any alcohol nor ordered room service, just basic meals). Also food quality has A LOT to improve, menu's should be renovated and healthy options are not offered. On the other hand, all the personnel is very friendly always with a smile on their faces and good attention everyhwere. There are pools everywhere and a long beach. Great tennis courts and a golf course crossing the street. The best thing is they have a convenience store in the property 24hrs! Läs mer

the hotel has nice recentyl (3-5 yr, my guess) updated rooms. well we actually stayed at a villa. they more confrotable that hotel rooms, and don't have the "cold" impresion of hotel hallways etc. What I moste liked about the hotel was a magnificent adult pool. So no kids and because of it not much ppl around. We had almos the pool for ourselves. Dinning […] is ok, just like everyother hotel buffet, guess they all have the same recepies. The beach is also almost for only guest of the hotel witch makes it quite private. My only complaint would be they charge you an extra daily fee for the parking of your car. The hotel,Fairmont Pierre Marquez, is the Princess's poor sister, not what was expected. After leaving less than ten days later I discovered unauthorized activity on a credit card I used to pay additional hotel costs. I Don't advise using this hotel.

The hotel is very nice. Had breakfast there for four days and the selection was good and nice variety. Everything was fresh and tasty. Had lunch at the Princess Hotel next door a couple of times and that was good (but pricey) as well. The room was clean and well kept. Had a nice view of the ocean from our balcony. They gave us a free upgrade at check-in […] which was nice and we didn't even ask for one. All of the staff were courteous and helpful. Even called me by name. We usually stay at the Fairmont Princess and we tried the Pierre Marques during a Mexican Holiday. Both hotels are great, but the Pierre Marques has a much better service. Even though it was fully booked, we didn't have to make lines or wait for the waiters at the pools/beach to check on us. We left Acapulco at night and the front desk staff extended […] our check out time. And we didn't miss the Willow Stream Spa at the Princess because since both hotels are Fairmont resorts, there is a shuttle that comes and goes to the Pierre Marques and Princess, and guests of both hotels can use the facilities of both. Even though the location is not great (as my husband would put it: no good tacos around the corner), you need to get on the car to get some good local food. We like this hotel because the service is excellent, our girls love the children´s area and having breakfast with a great view of the ocean is soo nice!
