Chateau Bonne Entente är ett utmärkt hotell och personalen är mycket, mycket serviceminded, problemet är att hotellet ligger så långt från Quebec:s centrum. Jag hade inte riktigt förstått att det var så långt som det var, minst 10 km och att det krävdes att man förbokade hotellets courtesey shuttle, som inte gick så ofta, och inte alls sent på kvällen. Nu fungerade shuttlen ändå väl för oss,och det löste sig även med kvällsretur den ena kvällen, men hade jag bokat igen så hade jag trots allt valt ett hotell i centrum, det hade givit så mycket större frihet att utforska Quebec. Å andra sidan var poolområdet mycket bra och det var varmt och soligt, så poolen uppskattades, liksom fitness(gym( rummet, det var utmärkt. Totalt sett var vi trots avståndet till Quebec:s centrum mycket nöjda med vår vistelse och inte minst med Quebec, en härlig stad, underbar fransk atmosfär, en stad att promenera i, massor att se och upptäcka. Trevliga invånare och bra service rent allmänt.
Läge.
Fairmont Le Chateau Frontenac ligger i hjärtat av Québec på gångavstånd till Dufferin Terrace och Place Royale. I närheten finns även Citadelle of Quebec och Parlamentet.

"Noizy and unexpected bill to pay"
first of all there was too much noise, me and my friend, we are light sleepers so hearing the noise of a baby next door and the doors keep open and close ealy in the morning so we couldn`t sleep and it was very anoying. It was very unpresent plus i thoug the parking was included but it happens that is the valet that wasn't included so we end up paying […] another 21$ anyways I don't think I will ever go to that hotel again. "The Next Best Thing to Being in Europe"
We had a wonderful visit to Quebec City in April 2012. We really felt we were in some historic European city. The Chateau Frontenac was conveniently located in the center of all our activities. The restaurants, museums, and shopping nearby were terrific. The hotel itself was very elegant, and clean. We will definitely return again.

"Family oriented and wonderful setting"
Our children loved staying at the Chateau Frontenac and didn't want to leave. The staff are very friendly to children and were extremely accommodating. They have a great pool and the children enjoyed the buffets and Easter holiday activities that were offered. It was one of the highlights of the trip for them!

"3 nite getaway at the chateau"
my parents honeymooned hear in 1948 an my wife and i stay every few years....only an 8 hr drive fr cape cod....the chateau is the only place to stay in the old city for so many reasons ,mostly that it is the center of everything....no vehicle required....old sophisticated, romantic, beautiful, intriging,clean,grand hotel with great service on the pricey […] side ..,,but worth the experience of a couple of nites....we stayed three and will go back next year again Läs mer

"No internet, are you kidding?"
Any premium hotel these days includes internet, just like a phone and toiletries. But not the Fairmont. You are required to pay a $16 per day fee just to get your email. Not the kind of service I expect from a luxury hotel these days.
"Winter Carnival"
We were there for 2 nights for the winter carnival. The hotel is very nice but there are many other hotels in the area that are just as nice. It is way overpriced for the value. You are paying for the name. Although I have no complaints the next time I will stay at the Hilton for 1/2 the price. Friends and I stayed over new years eve. Beautiful old hotel, my room was spacious and had a great view. My friends though paid the same amount but got a tiny courtyard-facing room rather than the city view they requested. Eventually the staff helped them to a better room, but it took some wrangling. Otherwise, the staff were all pleasant, the hotel […] is huge (take some time to wander and explore - third and fourth floors have some cool old photos scattered around) and centrally located. My grandsons and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Frontenac! The view each morning over the frozen river made the cozy hotel seem even warmer. Friendly staff. Great drinks. Stay here.

Amazing hotel! A must stay if you are traveling to Quebec City. Hotel was beautifully decorated for Christmas. Staff was courteous and knowledgeable. Thursday night jazz was a bit disappointing. Buffet breakfast had a great selection. Pool and steam rooms were a plus. Overall our stay was perfect. Would absolutely stay here again!

We stayed at the Frontenac for our wedding anniversary. It was a wonderful experience. Beautiful hotel, wonderfully maintained, in a perfect location with great views. We loved the lounge terrace overlooking the St. Lawrence River.

Just have to add that I was on a 10 day vacation driving through Canada and stayed at four different hotels. The Frontenac was the most expensive and they were they only ones to screw up the reservations. Had to sleep in two different rooms because they could not honor my reservation the first night. This was our second stay at the Hotel; we had been there for a special weekend 11 years before. Our lodging before had been more luxurious but it was likely our package was different. "Amazing place"
We booked a night in one of the tower turret rooms after a friend recommended it. The hotel is stunning. We were really tired from the drive, and we ended up ordering room service for dinner. We felt it was so good, it was like we went out to a fine restaurant. It is worth staying here at least one night while in QC.

Comfortable and enjoyed our stay. Would we stay there again? Not for what they charge...we could have stayed 4 nights close by for the price we payed for 2 nights and really it wasn't that special. It is a grand building and certainly a highlighted building of Quebec...on that basis it is worth a stay. The location is excellent....couldn't get better really. However, the rooms were small and fairly basic for the price. Our bathroom was not clean when we arrived, nor made any cleaner during the daily housekeeping. Our magnifying mirror was broken […] and unuseable. When it rained they would only give us one umbrella. I would expect more from a hotel of this price. Läs mer
