Underbar miljö på ön där hotellet ligger. Bad, jogging slinga, djurpark, lekplatser, lummig miljö med blommor och massa växter och grönområden. Hotellet är vackert, marmor och pelare m.m. trevlig personal. Ok men ganska dyr mat. Trevligt med tillgång till fint spa, pool och gym. Lite för hårda sängar. Vi kommer att åka tillbaka!

Ett prisvärt hotell med lyxambitioner och kanon bra läge mitt i centrum. 5 minuters promenad till t bana samt parlamentet. Rätt anonym service men absolut inte dålig, fick först fel rum men blev snabbt uppgraderade. Rummet var helt ok, rent och fräscht med modern inredning och spegeltak som var en spännande bonus. Fint och rent badrum med dusch. Hotellet hade även en helt underbar takterass med restaurang, goda drinkar och en underbar utsikt över stan i 360 grader missa inte detta! En bra och prisvärd vistelse i det stora hela skulle absolut kunna tänka mig att bo där igen!

Mycket fint hotell med mycket god service. Dock ett par saker. Rummet städades inte med automatik man var tvungen och säga till om detta?? Dock verkar det fungera så i hela Ungern ?? "Le Meridien - rekommenderas varm"
Mycket god standard för en mer än skälig kostnad. Förutsatt att du ej önskar boende direkt vid Donau är läget optimalt, då det är svårt att befinna sig mer centralt i Budapest. Närheten gör det enkelt att återvända till rummen för att vila, byta om eller lämna eventuella inköp. Serviceinriktad och trevlig personal vilka ständigt finns nära till hands. […] Hotellet passar såväl för resande i affärer som mer romantiskt orienterade. Bekväma rum med fullgoda faciliteter prallellt med trevliga allmänna utrymmen som lobby, bar etcetera. Kontra mina tidigare besök i aktuell stad överträffar hotellet alternativen vilka jag upplevt närliggande Donau. Då staden är välfylld med bra restauranger kom vi oss aldrig för att prova hotellets, vilken vi således ej kan recensera. Frukosten uteslöts relaterat till ett tillsynes omotiverat högt pris. "Le Meridien Budapest"
Fantastiskt fint hotell så centralt det bara går! Magnifik lobby och genomgående känsla av lyx. Bra service, t.ex. fick vi omedelbart och utan kostnad en barnsäng när vi bad om det. Vi tyckte att frukosten var dyr men det var lätt att äta frukost på café istället.

Vi hade en underbar vistelse på hotellet och firade min frus 60 års dag där! Hotellet uppmärksammade högtidsdagen med champagne, kaffe på sängen med tillbehör som blev väldigt uppskattat! Rummet var mycket tyst, personalen var vänlig och diskret! Vad som var negativt är att man fortfarande tillåter rökning i hotellbyggnaden, men detta gäller även offentliga […] platser i landet! "En central pärla"
Ett mycket lyxigt och perfekt central placerat hotell med gångavstånd till såväl shopping, nöjen som sevärdheter. Vi hade en underbar helg i Budapest som bjöd på strålande väder, god och billig mat samt många sevärdheter. Vår hotellvistelse inkluderade inte frukost som vi köpte på en restaurang runt hörnet för en avsevärt billigare peng än på hotellet. "Lyxigt med fantastiskt läge!"
Rent, snyggt och lyxigt. Mycket god service och väl tilltaget rum. I vårt pris ingick inte frukost och det är tveksamt om det är värt att köpa till för närmare 300 kr p/p. Välj istället att äta på café eller varför inte på ett annat hotell. En morgon åt vi mycket bra på Astoria för halva priset. Hotellets läge var mycket bra. Precis vid en knytpunkt […] för Metro och spårvagn och med fem minuters promenad till många av de fämsta sevärdheterna och med mängder av affärer och restauranger inpå knuten. Missa inte att bada i hotellets lilla men mycket flotta pool och bubbelpool. Rejäla badlakan och allsköns hygienprodukter ingick naturligtvis. Läs mer

We stayed for 5 nights including NYE. The overall service, appearance and experience is perfect. Impeccable service and friendly atmosphere. Food and beverages are plenty and of good quality. However, as with all NYE packages (we were forced to stay in the hotel with our baby) you have an overengineered menue that is not suited for a buffet. "Business Trip."
I and my business collegoue went to the hotel for 1 night. The location is great (just in the center on the Pest side) and the building itself very nice. The rooms are big and it is certainly worth to stay there. We got an upgrade in the morning as our room was not ready yet - that was certtainly very nice. There is a small and well equipped fitness, […] as well as cozy swimming pool - enough for a few minutes stretch. If I looked for any downs I would say the breakfast is a little bit overpriced and the staff has some problems speakign English. "Hotel ideally situated for tourism and business"
The hotel is opposite a cultural centre, a main tram metro and bus station and hop-on hop-off bus lines. there is a short walk to major sights like the cathedral, the Main Synagogue, the Danube etc... Just behind it there is a high end shopping street and close by fast food, drugstores and more mundane shops. A gem of a folk theatre as well as the opera […] house are close by as are many other attractions. The old market - now mainly souvenir shops but also food - is only a 20 minute walk through the shopping streets away. While the op floor room we had was clean and ultra-well equipped, it could do with some redecoration. The business centre computer are slow and it seemed that anti-virus was not up to date or active!! As usual they were full of other people's thrash. It cannot be too much trouble to restore them daily with a patched image (This seems to be a problem of many hotels). The service staff were always extremely helpful and anglophone (besides other languages). The fitness centre jacuzzi and small pool with adjacent humid and dry sauna are excellent. All in all, coupled with excellent Indian summer weather, this was a great stay. Läs mer

We were extremely happy with our stay at The Hotel Le Meridian, Budapest. The location of the hotel was very convenient. The staff, specially the front office staff, were friendly, helpful and knowledgeable.

The rooms are huge and clean. The concierge was knowledge on restaurants and attractions in the area and it is located right across from a park and many of the sites. I especially enjoyed the live jazz every night in the hotel's bar.

Though it could have been any Le Meridien in any city anywhere in the world, it was exactly what we needed when we arrived in Budapest after 11 hours on the train, haggling with cab drivers (DON'T go to the ones IN the station. DON'T exchange money. Well. Just use common sense. :) ), and etc. We ordered room service (quite a few delicious 24 hour options!) […] and slept well in soft, comfortable beds. The bathroom was fantastic. The only reason this hotel doesn't get a 5 is because I would have liked a bit more personality, an indication of where we were. We were within close walking distance of the chain bridge and Parliament, and it was a lovely, if slightly longer, walk from the hotel to the szechenyi baths and the opera house. Great hotel. We booked a superior room which was sunny, well appointed and in excellent condition. The bathroom and amenities were very new and modern and the staff kept the rooms very clean. The hotel is next to Erzebet park in Pest, which is right near the city centre and walking distance to just about everything, including * a metro station that […] intersects all metro lines * Andrassy avenue (which connects to hero's gate and the opera house) * the Jewish quarter with plenty of bars, restaurants etc * bike rental shop (which was a great way to cruise through the city and the surrounds) Staff were friendly and very helpful with directions. "For a Meridian is could have been much better"
The room was large and spacious. The mattress was very insufficient. The springs made one feel as if they were in someones spare bedroom when they were 25 years old. The was a very large spot on the carpet about 36" in diameter. The spot looked as if it had been worked on but to no avail. 3 nights, one was great, 2 were average, housekeeping didn't prepare my room. Check out queue was ridiculous. Bar was good and service there was great. Only stayed as Kempinski was fully booked, will now be making sure I book my monthly visit well in advance to ensure I get the Kempinski.

"Great hotel at great location"
Very luxurious hotel with probably the best location in Budapest. The restaurant is outstanding.
"Superior hotel"
I would highly recommend this hotel to visitors to Budapest. It is in a excellent location for visiting all the sights and is much classier than the flashy Kempinski next door. The service was excellent, from start to finish. The rooms were extremely spacious and well-appointed. The delivery of complimentary bottled water every evening was a nice touch. […] The hotel has a small pool and hot tub, which was welcome after a long day sight-seeing (even if the water temperature of the pool could have been higher!). The only drawback to our entire visit was that smoking (incl cigars) is allowed in the hotel bar, and it if was busy, as it was on one of the nights we visited, it was very smoky. This is a small gripe, however, as smoking seems to be allowed in many restaurants and bars in Budapest. Läs mer

I stayed at the Meridien during a conference and was very satisfied with the hotel. Wonderful spacious room with a large desk, high ceiling and wonderful bed. When the internet cable didn't work I immediately got an access code for the wireless at no discussion or charge. The breakfast has everything you need from lots of fruits over good selection […] of bread and various hot choices including omelot prepared to your order. What really topped it all was the small selection of coffee, juice and croissants for those, like me, that had to check out very early before the breakfast opened. I never had the time to check out the SPA or excercise facilities, but the hotel is nicely located for a run along the river althugh the river isn't really ready for it yet :) Läs mer

"Ventilation system negates smoke-free room"
Though all other aspects of the hotels were exemplary, my non-smoking room was filled with cigarette smoke, due (I believe) to a poor air handling system that permits smoke to enter into no-smoking rooms.

We absolutely loved our stay in Le Meridien. We were treated like royalty, even though we'd got a good discount on Hotels.com and it hadn't cost us a fortune. The location is outstanding, right in the heart of the touristic city centre, shops etc. No noise from traffic, managed 3 consecutive lie ins, first time in years! The crisp white sheets and duvet […] straight from heaven were amazing, though one kingsize duvet rather than two singles would've been better, I think. We arrived at the hotel and the staff where lovely, very friendly and smiley. There had been a cancellation in one of the suites and they offered it to us for an additional fee, needless to say the suite was a real luxury. With the upgrade we had breakfast included although the breakfast was lovely it is very expensive especially if you are not a big […] eater. The hotel is brilliantly situated for the Metro, buses and trams, plus loads of the key sites are within easy walking distance. Super hotel! Läs mer
