Not easy access for Venice You can take a bus but do get the reception staff explain exactly where the bue stop is located (In a street at the back of the hotel)The taxi to the airport is 50 euro There are no outstanding features to this stop over hotel.

The room and bed were OK. It had good pillows. The staff was rude, began preparing our bill, others came. They stopped working on our bill and completed others. if you are a tourist, you wont want to book at this hotel because it is far far from anything if you dont want to take a taxi. We had to walk about a mile to get to a bus stop to be able to go to the nearest plaza.

I found staff unhelpful & when challenged - rude! The hotel was nice and comfortable. Mestre was a nice area. Venice easy to reach by bus no 6 or 6/. Buses don't operate on Tuesday morning though as there is a local market in the street! More information on taxi costs to/from airport/city should be provided.

Staff were very rude, didn't like us even filling up young daughter's water bottles and flask at breakfast. Rooms were very basic and not up to par for a holiday inn!

Hotel was not at all child friendly unlike any other holiday inn we have stayed at. We reached at night and the kids were hungry there was no food available in the hotel or anywhere close and the manager at the hotel was quite rude. They also had no baby cot available. I would not recommend this hotel if travelling with kids.

When we checked in and got to our room, it was hot. Long story short, no a/c. We thought we'd have a cool drink. No ice bucket in room and oh yes, you want ice, go to the bar and buy a small bag. WiFi was advertised; give some company a credit card and oh, how much? Couldn't find that out. We called the front desk - they never answered the phone.

The only thing bad about this hotel was the distance from Venice. Coming back from Venice late at night was not easy and the bus service was not as convenient as people said in prior reviews (probably due to the cold weather during that time).

The Holiday Inn Mestre was a cheap hotel with good sized, comfortable and clean rooms. The AC however was not working and the room was very warm. Some of the staff were friendlier than others. The bus stop for venice (No 6 bus) is an 8 minute walk from the hotel. The number 15 bus takes you straight from the airport to the hotel - remember to ask the bus driver to tell when to get off for the hotel as it is 4 minute walk off the main road (via Beccaria). There is a gas station at the front entrance of the hotel you must drive thru to get to the hotel, weird? 3/4 mile walk to bus station. 55 Euro cab ride to Venice. Rooms are small, typical of Europe but clean. Front desk staff polite enough. Bartender was excellent, his name escapes me or I would mention it. They are unable or unwilling to perform tasks […] at front desk such as provide me with Euro for cab ride on my credit card. Even asked to charge 50 Euro at the bar but my tab was only 20 Euro. Answer was always no. Getting me a cab that accepted credit card, also a no. Disappointing. It could have been a better experience. Hotel is close to the Marco Polo Airport about a 10 min drive. easy for Taxi's to find. From the airport it was 40.00 euro for two people. Front Desk was easy to check in since it was paid for on hotels.com however they still chaged us for daily taxes which was 2.50 euro per day per person. The hotel is about a 10 min walk to the local bus that goes […] to Venice. Take the bus # 6 only. Not the 6/ or the 15. The hotel says they will have better maps to get to the local bus stop. The hotel has a shuttle bus that will take you to Venice but 8 euro person round trip was a little high we thought. Since on the local bus it's only 2.50 euro round trip. Keep in mind if you purchase a water bus ticket in venice you can ride the local buses with the same ticket. The internet in the hotel didn't work while we were there. The beds are a little hard. The Front Desk even called us a taxi back to the airport and only cost 35.00 euro. But another then that it was a nice place we would go back. Läs mer

Hotel is wonderful and we enjoyed our stay in the hotel. Except it was very hot and the air conditioning is not working properly. Breakfast is very good. Location is great.

Good Points - 1. The room was really cosy and clean. 2. Bed was comfortable and toilet was good. 3. Considerably cheap room rates, which could be explained from the number of bad points below. Bad Points - 1. Reception service was poor and nowhere near the standard required. Manager Franco could use a lesson in customer service. 2. The wireless system […] does not work in the hotel; all guests had to make do with only ONE computer at the lobby area, and the internet speed coming from that computer was crap. 3. Poor location. The hotel is a good 5 - 10min walk from the nearest bus stop, taking bus no. 6 from Venice island. There are no signs to assist hotel guests in finding the hotel; building is really hard to find, since it's located next to the highway. 4. Poor surrounding neighbourhood - only a petrol station next door, which does not offer much in terms of snacks and groceries. Conclusion - would definitely NOT recommend this hotel. There was no bathtub and only a shower in our room. We have stayed at this hotel in the past without issue. This time we could npt get a bathtub in what was supposed to be a 4 star hotel. Also, there was no free WI-FI and we suspec it was canceled for non-payment. Facility is a little out of the way, but it is very clean and our room was modern and comfortable. Best way to get back to Venice is by bus about a 15 minute ride. The Holiday Inn will furnish you with a map to the bus stop but still a little difficult to find. There is a little tobacco shop on the corner by the bus stop (has a green awning) where you […] can buy tickets for the ACTV. Be sure and ask driver where to get off when returning to Holiday INN. 高速道路インター最寄で好立地にあるため、観光バスによる団体客が多数滞在。特に、日本人、中国人、韓国人等東洋人であふれかえっていた。特に、朝食は最悪で、我々は一般客であるにも関わらず、団体用食堂に案内され、メニューも非常に限定されたものが供された。係りの人にさんざん文句言ったが、”申し訳ない”の一言は最後までなし。泊まった部屋には冷蔵庫もなく、4つ星がついているのは信じられない。個人で行くなら、全くお勧めしません。

Lo recomendaría siempre que tuviera un presupuesto ajustado y si no tuvieran inconveniente en caminar, ya que el hotel está alejado del centro turístico. Es decir un hotel aceptable pero con el inconveniente de los desplazamientos. Todo ello si vas de vacaciones a visitar Venecia, ya que se pierde demasiado tiempo si vas para un fin de semana

Infelizmente o hotel coloca apenas 01 funcionário na portaria, o que causa stress ao funcionário, principalmente quando chegam vários hóspedes ao mesmo tempo. O hotel disponibiliza transporte até Veneza, cobrado. O restaurante do hotel é simples, mas a comida é muito boa..

das personal war ausgesprochen nett, höflich und hilfsbereit und hat sehr gut englisch gesprochen. leider war die wegbeschreibung wie man zu fuß vom bus zum hotel läuft nicht sehr gut, wir sind etwas in der gegend herumgeirrt bevor wir es gefunden haben. auch hätte ich mir mehr ( es gab nur einen direkt am tresen) freie zugänge zum internet in einer […] etwas privateren umgebung gewünscht. insgesamt sehr zu empfehlen. Hotellet ligger greit til, men best å ta taxi, da det er vanskelig å finne og fordi busssystemet der er vanskelig å skjønne. Hotellet er greit, men ligger langt fra sentrum av Veneia så du må regne med tiden det tar å dra frem og tilbake med buss eller taxi. Rommet et greit, men vaskeperonell låser opp på morgene da vi fortsatt sov og lappen med "ikke […] forstyrr" hang på døra. Dette skjedde flere dager, noe vi ikke synes noe om. The hotel was clean and with spacey light room. Me and my girlfriend spent 2 days at this hotel. at arrival as we spoke to the clerk at the reception, he wouldn't even look at us as he spoke and did some other things at the same time as he went to our reservation. The hotel offer a buss shuttled to Venice beach, which only goes for some specific hours […] during the day and night, with that to say there are better alternatives then what the hotel offers you. The local bus is a much better alternative. The bus stop is 5 mins. walk from the hotel, and it goes every 20 min. until midnight. it takes only 15 min to Venice city. it was a cheap hotel, clean, and neat. Läs mer
