Enkelt hotell med utmärkt läge. Fungerar bra om man inte har höga krav på standard.

Sunkigt ställe vars glansdagar är förbi. Perfekt för en pensionär utan krav. Allt var gammalt och slitet, väldigt lyhört. Kuslig personal. Vi ar inga partymänniskor och inte särskilt kräsna men det här höll helt enkelt inte måttet. Kan du hitta nån annanstans att bo så gör det.

The hotel isn't glamorous but it's clean, very nice pool, and direct beach access!! Our room had a very nice kitchen, which surprised us! The neighborhood surrounding the hotel had everything we needed, places to eat from fast food to a romantic restaurant, we didn't even have to use the car we rented!!

This hotel is right on the beach and affordable. My girlfriends and I wanted a relaxing do-nothing weekend getaway. We were not in the room a lot - just to sleep and shower. Our room was nice enough for that and we were upgraded to a kitchen. Thanks!!! Wish the windows would open though because we had great weather. This spot is not near much for nightlife, […] but there are plenty of restaurants and shops/grocery open during the day within walking distance. Too much noise from other rooms. It could be better...

Like I said before it is close to the beach and to shopping if you have transport. Bus service is good. We had a good time there. The so called breakfast is a lot to be desired. Coffee was not cold but close, and the toast could have been to my satisfaction if I were able to do it myself. Far from the saying "Continental Breakfast".

The hotel is a very old hotel and it is not updated at all for the price. The drinks were very expensive and had not liquer in it. My handicap mother had trouble getting around. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

it is only location. However, u don't to stay on this hotel because ot thr location!

A good room to spend the night in and leave in the morning to enjoy the beach or other places. Simple but in a convenient location. A downside is the size of the parking.

Overall this was a pretty clean place, tile floors in rooms, thank G-d, all hotels should be so smart! Good deal overall for the price and oceanfront, in a great neighborhood. Plan to pay extra $8 per day to park.

For the price it is okay , but I would not stay there again I was there for 3 days we could not use the pool it was very dirty, the a/c was not good at all it is central a/c for the hole building . The employee were helpful the parking is also bad I space per room

it was pretty good I had a lot of fun, I will go back on this Hotel on my next fly to Miami FL

Air conditioning was poor. No cold water fountain. No ice to make cold water. Breakfast available but with enforcement.

For the price it really is a great deal. Rooms were clean, staff were very nice and friendly and helpful, and it is a great location within walking distance to several restaurants, shops, and right on the beach. The motel is situated just near North Miami Beach which is a quiet environment and which is only 20 minutes from Downtown/Miami Beach. However, the glory days of this motel was, I think, in the 80's. The price/quality of this motel was very low compared to other motels within Florida.

Not normally one to write reviews but on this occasion as I used the reviews to determine which hotel to stay in, I thought I better give back. As you would have read from other reviews, the Travelodge is a basic hotel in a prime location. It is right on the beach and you access the beach directly from the back of the hotel, can’t get any more convenient […] than that. I paid just under $80 for a night stay in April for a room with two double beds almost half the price of other hotels in the area. However you get what you pay for. My wife and two kids stayed in the hotel for one night and to be honest, I don’t think my wife would have agreed to stay a day longer. The room was not particularly clean, there was sand on the floor, probably due to the proximity to the beach and the rest of the room looked like it needed a good clean. My wife had to ask for a vacuum to clean the floor but that actually put more dirt on the floor than it took off so she had to ask for a broom and use that instead. The beds themselves felt like camp beds, light, creaky and you would feel the springs from the thinness of the mattress. My wife commented that she did not believe that the sheets where changed on the beds and I tend to agree. Only good thing about the bed was that there were no bed bugs. The bathroom was not a place you would like to spend more that a shower time in. The floor looked like it had not been cleaned and at the corner of the toilet, there was accumulation of long hairs from previous guest, it was a disgusting sight. After reading the previous reviews, my wife only agreed to stay there because we would be spending only one night and we had a 9am appointment the next day so we would be out by 8am, we were. Price includes “continental” breakfast which includes, cereal toast and boiled eggs on ice. I must add that you are also charged an $8 parking fee to park your car. This hotel is in between 2 beautiful hotels. It's on the beach that's about all I can say. Needs lots of work. Staff did let us check in early and let us stay for late check out due to flight leaving later in the afternoon. No bugs!! I probably would not stay here again, I would spend the extra money for somewhere nice and closer to the airport.

We booked the hotel last minute as we wanted somewhere to stay on Miami Beach. In comparison to it's neighbours this was a cheap hotel. It was clean and fairly comfortable, but pretty run down and the staff that greeted us were not really that pleasant. Car parking is a bit of a sham, you leave your car in whatever space you can find out front on arrival […] and leave the keys at reception so that the attendant can move your vehicle should the person you've blocked in need to get out. This didn't really feel secure or comfortable to me. Although we had no problems over night. The room was clean, but well used and neither the door to the room or the balcony fitted with huge spaces across the top and bottom, the bathroom door also scraped on the ceiling!! However the balcony view over the beach was quite nice although there was no direct access. If you are dead set on staying on Miami beach then I would recommend this hotel since it was very cheap, however next time I might aim to pay a bit more and stay elsewhere or head inland for more of a bargain. The hotel is mediocre but the location is excellent. Restaurants, gift shop, convenience store, banks are across the street. The beach is accessible from the rear door of the hotel, which was beautiful at night!

I've been to other travel lodge inns and this by far was one of the best. The access to beach was the best!!

Although this hotel has a great location this particular property is very old. It is typical of the 50's era. The cleanliness of this property was lacking. The bathroom was disgusting as well as the bedding. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. I was there for a weekend of fun with some business as well. I did stay at the hotel just for two days and it was ok, the room was clean and the staff was helpful but friendly. The advantage is the hotel is straight by the beach and there are a lot of eateries around, also it has parking but they surcharge you $8.

The first day they forgot to clean our room The breakfast was very minimal, not very good The desk clerk was giving callers way better deals over the phone directly than we recieved. The parking was an extra every day, and people parked behind you, once we had to find out who was parked behind us our selves just to leave.

The hotel is just not good enough, the only good thing is that is right at the beach. Sheets were dirty, no towels, not a nice room at all and the lady's attitude at the front desk was just below standard. I would rather stay somewhere else, far from the beach and having to drive, rather than staying there again.

I'm a female who travels alone. This hotel is in a nice safe neighborhood across from a 24 hour Walgreens. The beach is lovely and attracts families and foreigners, as well as the occasional glam type from nearby fancy resorts. There is a pier nearby. If you're a clean freak and into sound proofing, forget it! BUT, no bugs anyway. Each room is different, […] but I had a fridge, microwave, and hot plate. The workers here are wonderful. We caught a later flight & tried calling for hours to confirm our room, with no answer~upon arrival we brought it to the front desk woman. Sure enough her phone ringer was off. W.T.???? This tiny hotel is right on the beach settled between two tall new hotels and across the street from a Walgreens and a Dennys. The view from the hotel to the beach is really nice beside that the hotel it doesn't have to much to offer. Custumer service not so good, the lady was rude. The room needs to be better set up, they definelly need to organize the walls.

Price wise it's okay, but, can be better...

The direct access to the beach is what was important to me. I wanted to just walk out of my room and be on the beach and ocean.I would stay at this hotel again anytime for the low rate that I got with beach access.The actual hotel is old and in need of updating, but the bed was clean, all the other facilities worked, no bugs and that is all I cared […] about. I was disappointed to have been there the week that the bar was closed for remodeling, but I just walked down the beach to the pier and enjoyed theTiki Bar ,Pelicans on the Pier.Remember to bring along some one dollar bills for tipping as I learned they will expect a tip for anything and everything, from getting you a pool towel to unchaining the beach chairs and standing over the continental breakfast. There is a resort fee that you may not notice at first per day. There is a Denny's and a Walgreens across the street so you can get any supplies or cheap meals that you need, most of the rooms have a little fridge,microwave and coffeepot.You can save a lot of money by taking the bus,because you are right on Collins Ave.,during the day of course,it's $2.00 you can take it all the way to South Beach or Miami,even take it to the Fort Lauderdale airport, which saves you about $50.00 in taxi fees. Best advice is get yourself a detailed street map and bus route of the local area. Or better yet, just stay on the beach and enjoy the sun and water. Läs mer

Having stayed at this hotel many years ago when it was in its prime, unfortunately the hotel's standards have slipped quite dramatically. The appearance of both the exterior and of the rooms themselves are very dated and now in a much poorer condition, although the rooms were clean. Despite asking for non-smoking rooms we were given smoking. The chain […] on the door was broken and the door lock on one of our rooms did not work leaving all of us to enter and exit through the one room instead of both. We felt that a major refurbishment programme of the rooms especially would benefit the hotel. Otherwise, the hotel is in a very good location right on Sunny Isles Beach, and is just a short walk across the road from local facilities. Läs mer

This hotel is older, but clean and comfortable. We asked for a non-smoking room, however, the people next door were constant smokers. When we complained to the staff, they immediately gave us a very nice room on the second floor on the beach!! No additional costs! It was so cute. So, the price was reasonable, and the staff very accomadating. Old, but […] cute and cozy. The Continental breakfast was very basic, but a good hold over until lunch. I would stay there again. Convenient hotel and just stayed overnight to sleep so it was fine; however, ice maker broken and hot water never got hot. Advised front desk who said they'd had this problem in another building. Might try it again but there are lots of hotels in Miami Beach.
