Hotell Seidenhof Hotel - Zürich

Detta hotell ligger mitt i centrala Zurich och kan rekommenderas. Prisvärt. Vi graderade upp rummet, och fick ett mycket stort och bra rum.

Bokade 3 veckor före ankomst ett superior dubbelrum med två separata sängar. Fick ett rum med en dubbelbädd. Något annat gick inte att ordna. Tyvärr var timmen sen annars hade vi bytt hotell. Lösningen blev en insatt extrabädd, trivsamt värre då vi hade beställt ett superiorrum! Nästa dag skulle vi få ett annat rum men det passade inte våra engagemang […] resterande dagar. Läs mer

Bra läge bara några steg från Bahnhofstrasse. Rena, moderna rum som dock är extremt lyhörda! Helt ok frukost men jag kan verkligen inte rekomendera restaurangens Asiatiska mat. Bland det värsta jag ätit. Skulle absolut på här igen, dock inget att rekomendera om man skall på romantisk weekend.

Bland dom sämsta hotell jag någonsin bott på. Trodde inte det fanns så dåliga hotell i Schweiz. Avloppet i duschen fungerade inte så du stod i ett eget litet hav efter 30s duschande. Fick ett rökrum tilldelat trots valt icke-rökare vid bokningen - förfärlig stank. Sjukt små rum inte värda ens hälften av vad dom kostade.

Centralt läge, tvärgata till Bahnhofstrasse som är huvudsakliga shoppinggatan och även nära till gamla stan. Hotellet är lite dyrt men det ingår en bra frukostbuffé. Inget störande ljud utifrån, dock väldigt lyhört mellan rum och korridor. Hotellet rekommenderas!

Very central and good connected to the tram and the old town. Rooms are quit small - but you can´t expect more for that prizelevel. Really friendly and well-informed staff in the reception. Normally they don´t know anything - and believe me - I know.

Bara några meter från Zürich mest kända gata,Bahnhofstrasse ligger Seidenhof Hotel.Trots det mycket centrala läget störs man inte av omgivningarna. Rummen verkar vara nyligen renoverade o därmed fräscha.Minibar,vattenkokare o kaffemaskin finns på rummet.Trevlig personal i receptionen som gärna hjälper till o svarar på turistens frågor. är det något […] som inte var riktigt bra så var det frukostserveringen. lite trångt o ostrukturerat upplägg men annars finns kaffe,te,juicer, olika sortes bröd,pålägg,frukt,korv o äggröra mm. Kommer man fr flygplatsen till järnvägsstationen så tar det bara 10 minuter att gå till hotellet. Zürich är dyrt men detta hotellet är ändå rätt prisvärt. Läs mer

Location is great, not too far from Hauptbahnhof, walking distance to Zurichsee and Niederdorf, and a few blocks from Bahnhofstrasse. Room was small but didn't feel cramped and I don't mind a small room, furniture and ambiance was nice, koenig espresso maker was nice, bathroom tiling was a bit dated but not distasteful. This is my favourite hotel in Zurich, and with good reason. Location could not be better, nice, clean, well equipped room, friendly and helpful staff, and good breakfast. On this visit I had a room on the street side, quite noisy on Saturday night. Will ask to have a room on the courtyard side on my next visit. Wholeheartedly recommended.

I was put in a room on the second floor facing the street. The rooms was always stiffeling and if I opened the window it was so noisy I couldn't think. It was so loud at night when I was trying to sleep that I was not able to sleep for almost 3 nights. And this hotel was quite expensive. The bathroom as tiny but the shower was miniscule. On the up […] side, the rate included breakfast (basically a continental breakfast), the staff was very competent and professional and the hotel was very clean. Water in the tiny shower was hot and strong! Location to rail, shopping and businesses was quite good but location also added to the down side of the noise factor. I was happy with the hotel: very good and friendly service, standard but nice rooms, clean, quiet and comfortable. The location is excellent, very central and easy access with public transportation.

Perfect location close to Jelmoli shopping. Hotel in need of renovation, extremely small elevator and small room. Hotel is clearly overpriced. Staff not very friendly or helpful.

Stayed 6 days. Best location in central Zurich, 60 yards from Banhoffstrasse. Excellent reception staff, breakfast and housekeeping service. If you can ask for an interior room, (some noise from Sihlstrasse). Would recomend it for both business and pleasure. Will return.

Superb location, very comfortable, clean and friendly. Very good breakfast. I have stayed in this hotel several times before, and will definitely stay there again whenever in Zurich, and will recommend it to my friends.

Excellent in all aspects. Will definately stay here again. Beautiful scenery. Hard wood floors and bedding is magnificent.

I read a lot of the reviews for this hotel which said it was very basic so I wasn't expecting much but I have to say I was totally surprised by the hotel,my room, the staff, the service. I had a standard room which was a little on the small side but contained everything and more than I needed. The extra touches in the bathroom were nice -the usual shower […] cap, shower gel, shampoo, conditioner, but also nail buffer and little rubber duck which you can take home as souvenir!! Breakfast was very comprehensive, fresh breads, cheese, meats, museli, even scrambled and boiled eggs and sausage. I would stay here again in a flash, very convenient to train station and all retail stores and would highly recommend a stay in this hotel. Läs mer

It was a clean hotel with a good location to everything!! No A/C but clean room. For short time stay it's good!!

The airconditioner in my room was not working the first night. Also a restaurant serving continental food would be nice. Overall, a pleasant experience.

This was my second stay at the Seidenhof in just over a year. Both times I had a Superior room. On this trip it was a smaller room than in 2010 but still very comfortable. The location is ideal, as it is a 5 minute walk from the train station and within easy walking distance of shopping, restaurants, lake tours and the main tourist sites. Just off the Bahnhofstrasse. the Hotel Seidenhof is convenient to the main railway station and both the new and old towns of Zurich. We stayed during a heat wave, and we were very glad of the efficient air conditioning. The breakfast is very good. In all, a basic, comfortable hotel in a good location.

It's located at the main street to the central station of Zurich. (5 min. walk) Surrounded by lots of shops and close to the river. Breakfast was good ! They don't serve many kinds of dishes, but good enough! Very satisfied. Rooms are not huge, but enough space to rest. Also clean.

zurich is expensive, indeed, however, for the price payed one would expect a little more attention to detail. the hotel is rather old, the furniture rather basic. it was clean but still felt a bit dodgy. staff was friendly. the room was silent, no outdoor noise to be heard, however, noise from the corridor due to thin walls and doors. reccomendable […] yes, due to the location, however, don t expect too much. As others mentioned, the location is very convenient. The staff was friendly, and the room was good for the price. The hotel tried to overcharge me using the "convert charges to foreign currency and tack on a few percent, hoping the customer won't notice" scam. Lots of other hotels do the same, but it's still annoying.

The hotel is located right off of Bahnhofstrasse in Zurch, an easy 7 minute walk to the main train station. The hotel staff is very friendly and speak many languages. I checked in in the morning and left my luggage with them since my room wasn't ready. When I returned in the evening, my luggage was waiting for me in the room! The single room was clean […] with hair dryer, shampoo/body soap, shower cap, and a nail file (!) in the bathroom. Nice big bathtub too. There was an espresso maker in the room for free espressos, but it took me a while to figure out how to work it. The ONLY drawback of the hotel for me was that there was a charge for Internet usage. I believe there is also a charge for watching TV. There is a heater/AC in the room. I had to leave early for the airport, and there was a card with coffee in the lobby. The price was extremely reasonable for a hotel in a major city! I would highly recommend it and go back again. Läs mer

I stayed at the hotel for three nights with my partner. The Hotel is very close to the railway station and just off the 'sophisticated' Bahnhofstrasse, a pedestrian street full of designer shops. The Hotel was under partly under renovation and my first room was next to the construction. I complained and was immediately moved. Like in many Hotels in Europe to go on-line is complicated and expensive.

although the hotel is not the most luxurious, it was priced reasonably, was very clean and the staff was very nice and helpful. It is very convenient as it is 3 blocks from the train station. It is located in a very savvy shopping district. I would recommend this hotel.

Seidenhof recommended by Hotel.com with prepay option and three star rating - all which worked satisfactory. Quality hotel with market value pricing.Recommended.

Very convenient. Should provide free WiFi. The restaurant is very good for breakfast. It also serves lunch and dinner. The latter is especially helpful because there are few or no other restaurants in the area.
