Very comfortable, clean and super convenient location for train and sights.

The location is great if you're coming in by train. A very short walk from the main train station. Neighborhood is "so-so" as there aren't a lot of dining options. The hotel is north of the station but just south the neighborhood looks pretty rough. Lots of adult oriented businesses. Easy walk to the Marienplatz. Lots of public transportation options. Breakfast […] was NOT an American breakfast as some online had said. It was good but expensive for what it was. There were assorted breads and rolls with jams and honey, scrambled and hard boiled eggs, assorted cold cuts and cheeses, cereal, fresh fruit and beverages. I recommend you stop and look before you sign up to pay for it. Room was comfortable, decent size and quiet. Club rooms face the courtyard which is nice. Windows open. Bathroom was tiny but functional. Shower only, no tub. Biggest issue in the room- the bed. Billed as a KING bed it was two twins put together. Both mattresses were awful. Linens were awful - only twin comforters for cover and they were way too small. Towels were thin and small. Internet is expensive and slow. Läs mer

Excellent hotel close to station. Rooms are very clean but slightly small. I would recommend the hotel and would use again when I am next in Munich.

this hotel is running on 2 buildings, very close to each other causing us some confusion. the hotel is really close to central station and is well maintained. but if you thought you want to dress up nicely for munich, you might have to walk to other building across the road for ironing. think again if you have to do that while raining. will be helpful […] if they provided one room in both buildings for ironing or at least an iron box to the room for the same. We enjoed very much staying at this hotel.Very good location ,close to central train station and to city center. The rooms are very clean and comfortable.

Very nice hotel. about 20 min walk from city centre. central train station is about 5 min walk from hotel. from there the world is your oyster. trains ,trams, s-bahn and bus. get the partner tickets for public transport.great value.if you are travelling in from the Airport get the s-bahn (S 8) . ITS ONLY A FRACTION OF THE COST OF A TAXI.

my husband and i went for octoberfest. great location about a 10 min walk to octoberfest, opening festivities, shopping, food, train station! great hotel and friendly staff!

We were going to Oktoberfest and this was perfect. Near the festival site and the train station. Reasonably priced - not increased for Oktoberfest period as many are. Excellent Italian restaurant across the street.

The Kings Hotel Center is a very nice hotel, fairly luxurious at a fair price. The location is maybe 5 minutes walk to the main train station. The neighborhood isn't bad. There are adult venues in the area but safety was never an issue whether day or night. Several eating places, shops and internet cafes are available in the general area. Right near the RR station, yet quiet (especially the rooms toward the back), and with a lovely planted courtyard, this 3-star hotel feels at times like 4 stars. Rooms are small, but have what you need.

Nice hotel right near the train station in munich. We were just passing through for one night but were pleased with the room and the lobby. Recommend.

Hotel's breakfast was not included in our room rate but was very reasonable and quite good. Close to a large beer garden which served excellent food as well as a large selection of German beers. If we had finished our sightseeing earlier in the evenings we could have sat outside under tents. Room was very thoroughly cleaned each day. I stayed three nights at King's Hotel and would DEFINITELY return. The staff was friendly, the facilities were impeccable, breakfast (though not included in my rate) was delicious and worth the 12 Euros. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

The hotel was charming and very clean. It is located 2-3 blocks from the main train station, S-Bahn and U-Bahn. There is a casino near the hotel. The King's Hotel Center was a great value for the money. The location was good, a five minute walk to the main train station. The rooms were very clean and comfortable and air conditioned. The staff was very accommodating. We left the hotel to go on a weekend trip, but we were coming back to the hotel. They let us leave a suitcase there which helped […] a lot. It was worth the small price to book a club room. The room had more space and made us more comfortable for our 7 day stay. The breakfast buffet was excellent but a little pricey. Nice for a treat. The hotel was very nice and an easy walk to the Train station and Downtown Munich.

The staff at the Kings was very helpful and the accommodations were great. Very central location. We were so pleased, booked another night with them on our return to munich at the end of our trip.

Arriving on an evening where there was a lot of noise on the streets as Germany had just won a Soccer World Cup round, we were delighted with a quiet room to the back of the hotel with a comfortable bed and airconditioning. Within walking distance of four biergartens and the City Centre. If you want to experience all that Munich has to offer, stay here. Very clean hotel with excellent service and an outstanding breakfast in the morning.

We spent five nights at the King's, and it was a great experience. We booked a standard room and our room had a lovely courtyard view. We spent our days sightseeing and really only came back to the hotel to sleep. Historic Marienplatz was a fifteen minute walk, which is what makes the Kings such a steal. The hotels in and around Marienplatz cost two […] or three times the amount we payed to stay at the Kings. The hotel is a five minute walk from the main train station and from there you can access the entire city. Overall, this was our "home base" during our stay in Munich. By American standards the room and bathroom are small. However the location is just 2 blocks from main train station. Cleanliness and working condition of lights, AC, bathroom, etc. was excellent! For one person on a business trip it’s everything you need.

Only stayed on night as was on way home to England, but watched the football in the lounge and the atmosphere was pleasant, the staff were very friendly and the themed room was unusual. Very central so managed to see some of Munich before my flight.

Extremely well positioned hotel a stones throw away from the train station, a short walk to the Marian Platz. We found the hotel very clean and friendly, our room was air conditioned and was at the back of the hotel so was very quiet indeed. Great hotel! Very close to main train station, and the staff was very friendly. Largest hotel room we've ever had in Europe! Very convenient location and quiet at night (and during the day actually). Would definitely stay here again.

The King's Hotel is a superb value for the money (not to mention the wonderful treatment by hotel staff). The breakfast bar is not to be missed, it is some of the best food I have encountered in any other hotels or restaurants. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, they deserve a 10. You will not be disappointed.

We loved staying at the King's Hotel Center in Munich. The club room was wonderful, as was the staff. We were very pleased with location, and the staff spoke English, which helped us out when our German failed us. Will stay there when we return to Munich.

We stayed at the Kings Hotel Center in early December 2009. The location of this hotel is perfect. Less than 2 blocks from the train station and walks to the Pinakotheks' Museums or the City Center were all within 15 minutes. The staff was exceedingly friendly and all those we encountered spoke perfect English. The rooms were very nicely maintained […] with a beautiful canopied bed. The location was ideal with easy access to the Main Bahnhof and S-banhof. This allowed us an easy transit to move by train, go to the airport and take guided tour buses. Front desk people were very nice and helpful. The room was a bit small, but nothing to bother if you spend most of your time touring around.

We stayed at King's during Oktoberfest, so we paid an obviously elevated price. If not for the fest, I would not have paid what we did to stay here. All things aside though, it was clean, comfortable, friendly and safe place to stay. My only complaint is that we received a charge on our credit card after the stay that we were not told about it prior […] to checking out - it's not a huge amount but still unexplained and we definitely didn't use anything in the room to explain it.
