"close to the Carmel Marathon start/finish"
Very nice. The hotel needs to petition the city to get a driveway to the hotel from the roundabout. It is difficult to access the parking lot from the south.

Hotel was good overall. The only thing I ask them to do is routinely check the whirlpool/hot tub daily there were skin particles floating in the water talk about gross.. The free breakfast is very light for the kids or the real skinny people..... We went to buy our hot breakfast! the room was great my daughter enjoyed the pool.... "Quiet getaway"
This was a first time stay at a Hampton motel for us and we were very happy there! Everything was very clean and smelled new. We were too busy to enjoy the indoor pool or hot tub but the hot tub looked very inviting. The motel was very quiet and the bed was comfortable. When we are looking for a motel to book, we look for location and amenities. Complementary […] breakfasts are very important to us so we are detailing the breakfast we had for anyone who reads this review. The free breakfast was excellent with many choices. The hot breakfasts consisted of scrambled eggs or egg and cheese omelet, french toast sticks or seasoned potatoes, canadian bacon or sausage gravy and biscuits and of course waffles. Other items were pastries, bagels, toast, hot and cold cereals fresh and canned fruit, yogurt, 4 kinds of juice, coffee and hot chocolate. We ate enough breakfast both days that we did not have to eat lunch which saves money so we could have a very nice dinner. This price for this type of motel was very good for everything we received. The only other things we would liked to have had is a microwave and refrigerator. We thought it came with the room we chose, but evidently not. We will definitely be back for another wonderful stay! I really like this hotel. I travel to Indy frequently for business and hotel hop to try out different properties. I think I'm over that now. The Hampton Inn was comfortable, breakfast was good and the location is outstanding for anyone doing business in the Carmel/Fishers area. My family and I stayed at the hotel the day before New Years' Eve in the midst of travelling back to Ohio from Missouri. The hotel was comfortable and very accomodating for young children. "We had a wonderful stay!"
Everything was neat, the kids loved the pool! The only negative was the spa chlorine was so concentrated that it burned our eyes. Breakfast was the best! We have always loved the Hampton Inns!

The hotel was a little hard to find but it was great! We were looking for an apartment in the area and the people behind the counter were VERY helpful. I would highly recommend the hotel

This was a great place to stay. Everything was top notch; from our room to the service and area. We checked out the new Yogurtz frozen yogurt shop just north of this and it was great too! Lots of places to eat close by also.

My wife and I left the Sheraton down the road because of costs after her conference, but we were much happier with this hotel overall because it felt newer, especially the bathroom (in comparison)

"A great 4 night stay!"
Welcoming staff, comfortable and quiet rooms, inviting pool, a wide variety of delicious breakfast foods (available til 10 am!) and easy hotel access. Glad we stayed here.
"Clean and nice hotel"
As others have said: clean, clean, clean. In a nice area of town. We had a clogged sink when we arrived, but the staff put us up in a suite as compensation for the inconvenience, without us having to ask. Overall a nice place and would stay there again. But... Hard to get to! You can see it from Meridian Street, but it's not obvious how to get there. […] After swimming across a pond, climbing a fence and cutting a path through the woods, we finally arrived. Seriously, this place couldn't be more tucked away and hard to reach. Easy access to the interstate, clean and well-stocked breakfast area, everything I want in a business hotel. My only complaint is that the shower lacked water pressure.

This was my first stay at any hotel in the Indianapolis area. I will definitely stay at this hotel again. The room was new and spotlessly clean. For this price range, the King Bed and the Sheets were the most comfortable I have ever had. The towels were spotless, and felt nice to the touch. As I entered I was greeted by 2 desk clerks who smiled, greeted […] me, and the questions I had were quickly and thoroughly answered. I heard NO noise from other rooms, and I heard NO noise from the hallway. The breakfast was very, very, good for this price range of hotel. The variety of breakfast foods was excellent. The coffee was very good, and was Hot. I look forward to staying here again in the future to visit family /acquaintences. The "business center" was equipped with 2 computers which worked very well. This was very nice and clean. Very nice surrounding neighborhood with good restaurants. it was not far from the childrens museum and Connor prairie farms. And the breakfast was very good they kept it stocked throughout the morning. Will definitely be staying again

Very clean, hotel in excellent condition. Great breakfast and good customer service at desk except our bathroom sink did not drain quickly. It looked plugged but eventually the water did seep out of the sink. We stayed 4 days and I told the front desk on the second day (a Friday) but it wasn't taken care of--and we left Sunday afternoon. Not a huge […] inconvenience considering that everything else was excellent. Neighborhood was safe--near a busy four-lane and sprawling office buildings and health clinics. "Great hotel that couldn't keep up with the crowds"
We stayed at the Hampton Inn August 4th-7th to attend the Indiana State Fair. The hotel was nice and the front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, one school group and a group of tennis teams were staying in the hotel at the same time. I can't count the number of times we had to venture into the hall in the middle of the night to […] ask the tennis players to quiet down or not run down the halls. When we complained to management they said they would contact the teams' coach, but I didn't see much of a difference in behavior afterwards. The front desk saw that we had young children with us, so it was disappointing that they assigned us a room in the middle of a floor of rowdy teens. The most disappointing part of the stay was the free, hot breakfast promised. With a full hotel, breakfast was empty to near empty every morning that we went downstairs to eat. The poor server said that she just couldn't keep up with the crowd. I feel the hotel should have planned breakfast help accordingly knowing that the hotel was at capacity. The breakfast was important to us since our mornings were so rushed, so we paid a bit more to stay at a hotel with a nice breakfast. Too bad there was never any breakfast left for us! "The right place"
The great reviews led me to choose this hotel and boy am I glad I did. Very clean and well-maintained. Surrounded by restaurants and shopping (huge 24-hour Meijer's just a minute away) options plus a straight shot to the Children's Museum, Indiana Museum of Art, and downtown. We wanted a pool for our 5-year-old and theirs is pleasant with a nice, wam […] hot tub next to it. When dozens of rowdy tween boys were rampaging in the pool (jumping in and yelling) I went to the front desk and the clerk promptly went and asked them to behave or leave. She then replenished the towels. Later she helped me find a route to local fireworks display. Complimentary computers provide internet access. Breakfast was fine (standard hotel fare), though they did run out of hard-boiled eggs and never could get one over the three days we stayed. But, hey, if breakfast is a big deal for you, there's a Peeps Restaurant across the parking lot. Staying here made our vacation great. Highly recommended. Läs mer
"Fine for pleasure visit."
The hotel is very nice and clean however, the internet access did not work for the four days we were there. We contacted AT&T without result and the hotel was no help. So for a pleasure trip the hotel would be fine, for a business trip, particularly if you count on internet connectivity, not so much.

"Clean, quiet and comfortable"
The hotel was a bit hard to find, but once there the hotel was very clean and the staff was friendly and helpful, especially about directions for downtown Indy. The beds were very comfortable and the atmosphere was pleasant and peaceful.
Hot water was not available in the morning. Shower head was not adjustable. Did not deliver the water flow necessary.

With three children ages 6, 3 and 6 months, this hotel was perfect! It was within a reasonable drive to the Children's Museum and the Indianapolis Zoo. The neighborhood is newer with nice restaurants and the drive down Meridian through the Historic District was beautiful and an unexpected surprise! Having been a Hampton Inn customer for the last couple of years for business travel, I was not at all pleased with the cleanliness and maintenance of my room during this most recent stay. The phone did not work, the heater fan clicked the entire time, the swimming pool was too hot to swim in (really!), the room was dusty and smelly, and the bathroom […] had someone elses hair in the tub. Helpful and friendly staff. Willing to offer directions; had several maps already printed and available for local destinations. Hotel was clean as was the bedding. Slept in late and had no problem getting maid service later in day. Hotel is surrounded by plenty of restaurants and places within walking distance. This property is easily the best Hampton Inn I have ever stayed in. The hotel was immaculate. The lobby exuded warmth in its furniture and decor. The front desk was located unobtrusively off to the right, barely noticeable as a welcoming 'living room' greets you first. Check-in was speedy, courteous if not friendly.
