I stayed two nights (Club Deluxe - double room) at the Plaza in late October. I don't give this hotel five stars status; I wasn't impressed by the modernity of the room - glassed see-through shower room, automated curtains and lighting etc. I've stayed many three and four stars "business" hotels in Europe and Asia with equal quality in maintenance and […] service thus honestly speaking The Plaza deserves only near "4 stars" status. The location is as good as other nearby hotels such as Lotte and Westin which have more classy atmosphere with larger rooms. The price at the Plaza simply doesn't match the quality you expect from "five stars". I stayed in another "five stars" hotel nearby one night before my return home and I paid the same price, including a private limo service to Incheon International, club breakfast and a bigger room with fair service as in the Plaza. No recommendation from me, sorry. The Plaza management group should work harder for the betterment. Läs mer

Plaza in Seoul is a beautiful hotel. Topdesign. Fantastic location. Very professional staff. The beds are wonderfully comfortable, the bathroom modern with a awesome shower. The roomsize was maybe a little bit smaller than it could be but if you are a tourist and out all day that doesn´t matter. I want to come back to the Plaza.

From this accomodation, every attraction in Seoul is very close and easy to access. And all facilities in Hotel are on high quality levels.

Right next to City Hall subway station and just 10min walk to Meyoung Dong for shopping and dining. We stayed at the Club Level which included breakfast and a happy hour with hot food. Service is super friendly. The gym/pool is in another building. And rooms rates are a bit expensive.Otherwise a perfect hotel. Would definitely come back.

My husband and I had a wonderful stay at the Plaza. The location was fantastic - just a stone's throw to the shopping belt. The service, especially the conceiage, was exceptional. The hotel even presented a birthday cake for my husband without any prompting! The Plaza comes with my high recommendation.

Clean stylish modern hotel with friendly English speaking service in central location one stop away from Seoul Station. Best part is the huge gym located in the adjacent building with large swimming pool, huge exercise room and nice views of downtown Seoul.

Very nice location. In walking distance of shops and restaurants. The hotel was newly remodeled and was at or near 5 star. Very clean. My 2nd stay with the hotel and everything was great like clockwork! Besides quality of service, fantastic cleanliness of room ... the concierge service provided was really helpful. Was pleasantly surprised with a complimentary ticket to Deoksugung, which is located right next to the hotel.

The hotel offered a free ride to Insadong, a great shopping area for artisans. The cost of food in the hotel was expensive, we ventured out to near by Ethnic restaurants and love the food at a very reasonable price.

The staff was extremely polite and helpful. We were only there for two days and the location was perfect for walking to the palaces and a few of the markets (10-15 minute walk). Great courteous staff. Very convenient location. It would be nice if there is a hot tub in the fitness center. We stayed there in February which is cold during that time. Close to Myengdong (underground walk of about 5 mins). Close to subway station (about 3 minutes walk to station - also connected via the hotel underground). Very clean, the room was a bit cramp (we had the cheapest of the 5 room types they offer I think). If you need more space, 1 room size up is recommended. It's a nice hotel in terms of location and comfort. It's just opposite to Deoksugung palace and Namdaemun night market & Myeongdong night market. I strongly recommend this hotel, staff are polite & helpful.

Very stylish room, loaded with high-tech. There was a great view of the city Hall and the ice rink in front of it. Extremely courteous and helpful staff. The only down side was the breakfast, which is a staggering 50,000Won for the buffet. Good food, but quite a price!

I reserved Deluxe-Double but I had to select Bathtub or City-View at my check-in. Then I selected bathtub and released the Nice-View which is one of this hotel's sales points. Perfect location to two palaces, underground shopping with access to two major shopping malls and food courts, free shuttle to 3 tourist attractions, safe (even down the street from the US Embassy). PERFECT, PERFECT, PERFECT!

We mistakenly book a room for one instead of two occupants. After several emails, the hotel was kind enough to offer refund if we would like to cancel, but nothing else. That made us feel that they did not need a business with us. At checkin we thought they might surprise us with a more comfortable room but no luck there. Service from check in to check out was excellent. Staff at buffet breakfast coffee house was most helpful ,even gave us a map and talked us through with detailed instructions on how to get to attraction. The staff of the Plaza made this visit extremely pleasant for a first time visitor to Seoul, Everyone was friendly and went out of their way to be helpful. Most of the staff could speak Mandarin, Japanese and English. The rooms were small compared to western hotels, but extremely clean and comfortable. The hotel is conveniently located next to a subway stop and within walking distance of restaurants, bars and shopping areas. Rooms are small and worn off. The "unique design" of the rooms does not really look upscale. After the relaunch, the hotel bar looks like a random coffee shop and has lost all its previous charm. Positive: Location, view (if you are lucky to get a room facing city hall).

This is a supreb hotel with absolutely amazing staff. When I was injured, a member accompanied me to the hospital to help with translation. It is well worth the cost and I recommend it particularly to those visiting Seoul for the first time, you will be in good hands!
