I thought the hotel was very sufficient for the price. The bed was comfortable, pillows were not, but that is my preference. Some like those pillows. I thought it was quiet through the night. It was an older hotel so some of the fixtures were in need of replacing but other than that, it was a good place to stay.

Very nice atmosphere.Price was right. Breakfast was great. Would recommend it for sure. Hope to be able to stay there again on my next visit. Thank You.

Good stay

Very poorly run front desk. They had my party registered when they had not even arrived. They waited 2 hours for their room to be ready when they did register. No one at the front desk seemed to know how to use the computer. Everything had to wait until the manager came in. The manager did in, fact take care of the situation, happily. We stayed there for a wedding that was held very close to the hotels location. The room was very clean but everything was pretty old and outdated. Probably needs some rennovation but the service was fine.

This is the second time I have stayed here. I have booked it again for next weekend. Affordable, clean, friedly. Very Comfortable beds, lots of and comfortable pillows. I especially liked the white shhet like bedspreads. I knew they were fresh.

I am writing this review at 2:54 in the morning. Why? Because a freight train just went by this hotel, blasting its horns. There was another one just two hours ago. Not only are the trains disruptive, but the walls are flimsy and I can hear every word that the family staying next door me to me is saying. We were pleased with the cleanliness of the room and the friendly staff. Also, the breakfast room was so nice and tidy at all times...it was kept in clean order and there was a large selection of items. This is a place we would stay again and also recommend to others.

Only problem we had was finding the hotel. It was dark and the sign wasn't working. Very nice hotel. Good breakfast. Family enjoyed the hot tub. Nice people working there. We would definately stay again.

The staff was very friendly, very clean and great continental breakfast. Enjoyed are stay at the White House Inn and would recommend to others.

Solid middle of the pack performer, they have kept this older hotel in very nice condition. Quaint decor with a Presidential theme. As other reviews have stated, negatives are small bathroom and proximity to railroad. However room was a good size (2 queens with plenty of extra space), breakfast was plentiful, cookies & popcorn in lobby were a hit with my family. Would have appreciated in-room safe. Chose to do without room cleaning so we could leave valuables in room (day was warm […] & we did not want to leave them in car). Front desk staff made this recommendation when I inquired about the size of the safes behind the desk. I have stayed at the White House Inn several times and am always satisfiied with the acommodations. It is convenient for the places I need to go, provides breakfast, the rooms are clean and comfortable. I'm always greeted by the head of the dining area with a hug, both coming and going. Friendly staff; good safe location; had different breakfasts every morning and my husband and son who both have celiac disease were able to find something in the breakfast that they were able to enjoy!! Clean rooms for an older hotel, but well kept

we had a great stay! very comfy beds, our daughter enjoyed the hot tub, it was just about 5-10 min from the zoo, a village inn restaurant right in the parking lot. only downfalls were the train that goes by frequently and the shower heads weren't great! other than that it's a great place to stay!!!!

My family recently stayed 3 days for a trip to the Zoo. And I was very impressed with the cleanliness of this hotel. The room was very large and very comfortable for 2 adults and 2 young children. It was in a quiet location but was close to restaurants right up the street and around the corner, and was also close to the zoo. The service was great, everyone […] was very nice. The lobby was always very quiet. The only complaint that I have is the water pressure, but that is usually due to the rain shower heads that everyone think are cool, but really they aren't. Very nice stay. The only criticism is that our cell phone (AT&T) and iPad could not get reception in our room. Wi Fi did work and was free.

We were very disappointed in our room. We asked for Handicapped Excessible and we got room on 1st floor that was a regular room. My husband wasn't able to use the bathroom as well as get in the bathroom. He couldn't reach the sink from his wheel chair and we was totally exhausted. We arrived about 5PM and had an engagement at 7 so while we were out […] we told our family of our situation and they found us another hotel by the time we left the graduation party and had to move to another hotel in Omaha. Pros - Comfortable bed, great toiletries, refridgerator, cookies and popcorn upon arrival, and staff was friendly. Cons - Shower pressure is very weak, no microwave, nearby train blows it's horn throughout the night (quieter on East side of hotel). Breakfast was disappointing since there were no protein options.

We were pleasantly surprised by how nice this little hotel was. We loved the Presidential and First Lady theme almost as much as the evening cookies & popcorn! We got plenty of use out of the hot tub and sauna after long days of house hunting. The location was extremely central and that was both good and bad. We had easy access to the entire town, BUT […] just FYI the railroad line is right across the street and runs every night. Not a big problem for us since we also like trains and the delicious breakfasts made up for the little sleep disruptions. I stay at this hotel (sometimes weeks at a time) when I am in town for work and it is a great place to stay. had a very nice experience at the whitehouse inn , staff was very accommodating, could not have asked for nicer people. the breakfast was very filling and room was very good size so that we were able to get around comfortable.

If you are looking for a reasonably priced hotel in the Omaha area, this one is absolutely perfect. Rooms were decently appointed and sized, the staff was super nice, and little extras like the breakfast room with microwave and room fridges made this a great place for staying on the cheap. the only bad thing i can say about the hotel was its slightly high nightly rates, other than that the stay was great!

Room was clean! All staff was friendly, even the night staff. Amenities were well taken care of. Loved that breakfast changed from day to day. Breakfast offered me many choices and was of good quality! We got bored after dinner one night ans right we should have brought some cards...hubby called front desk to see if they sold any weird trinkets like […] cards. She called back five min later, told me tho come tho the desk, she found an entire box of games, told me to take my pick. The White House Inn is clean comfortable and convenient. The staff was friendly and helpful, especially the evening front desk clerk Chris. It is an excellent value with breakfast included. The theme of American Presidents was interesting and well done, tasteful, not overly schmaltzy. I was initially excited to stay here, since it was a themed hotel. I arrived late, and the desk clerk already had my check-in prepped and waiting. I got to my room, and immediately noticed there were two deadbolts on the door, and that the slide latch didn't fit properly. After turning off the lights, I found I could see into the hall around the door. […] This made made me very nervous. At 4 am, I came completely awake, fearful that someone might have broken into my room, since it was kind of obvious that the door had been forced before. I raised my concerns with the desk manager the next morning, and she informed me that the door had recently been replaced; she did not say why. Staff was great; the facility itself wasn't.I would not stay here again, and I wish I had stayed somewhere else. Läs mer

This place is excellent. Everything about this place is worth the price you pay. Very very nice room. Very clean, very comfortable. The best thing about this hotel is the breakfast buffet is outstanding. Everything you would want for breakfast is on this buffet room for the customer to enjoy. This hotel was so nice! When we checked in fresh cookies were given to our team and we could smell the scent of fresh popped popcorn in the air. I was very pleased with the cleaniness and decor of the hotel and was relieved that we entered our rooms from an inside hallway. Each room was named after a Presidant of the United States and it was fun to […] refer to those names when telling people where to find you. Very nice hotel. It is inexpensive and well kept up. Our room was clean and comfortable. The president theme is a nice touch. I was absolutely pleased with my stay at this hotel. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. The pillow top bed was great. Everyday I stayed there was a fight to get out of the bed because of its comfortability level. The shower could've used a little more pressure but outside of that it was nice. We didn't have to fight for hot water like many other […] hotels. I loved the fact that they offered free cookies and popcorn until 11pm every day. And the hot breakfast buffet was nice to have every morning with scrambled eggs, waffles, biscuits and gravy, pastries, etc. There isn't a swimming pool but the hot tub was perfect and relaxing. The housekeeping staff was very helpful and didn't make a lot of noise. The hotel sits in a great location. Two restaurants are within a very short walking distance and many more with about a 5 min drive plus shopping is also very near. It is also a short drive to the interstate. Great place - only stayed two nights but it was clean, and the bed was comfy. There was a train across the street that was loud, but I've been on the road for 5 weeks, so I was tired enough that I didn't even care - nor did it keep me up at night. Great place for a night or two, but not a place i would really 'hangout'
