Hjälpsam personal på hotellet. Hjälpte mig bland annat få biljetter till en slutsåld fotbollsmatch. Precis utanför hotellet så går spårvagnar. Två olika linjer. En som tar dig till city(doumen, slottet, tunnelbanan, flygplatsexpressen) Nr 1 som tar ca 15 min.. Nr 19 tar dig bla. till Navigli-området. (Bra bar- och restaurangområde i en mysig stadsdel). Frukosten var väldigt bra.. Var nästan så att man var tvungen att kliva upp tidigt för att vissa saker inte skulle vara slut dock. Minus på hotellet är områden runtomkring.. Finns inte mycket att göra. En pizzeria, ett cafe samt hotellets egna restaurang, hade inte skadad om det varit närmre centrum.

Bra läge vid metron och närhet till park. Starkt trafikerat område med få restauranger. Mycket bra hotell för att vara ett tre-stjärnigt. Bra frukost.Fräscha rum med byte av sänglinne varje dag.

I den nordvästra delen ligger Fiera Milano, Italiens viktigaste utställningscenter som ursprungligen grundades på 1920-talet. Utställningscentret har nu återupplivats och en stor park har byggts runt omkring. Cirka 80 mässor hålls här varje år, däribland de ytterst viktiga modevisningarna. Alla entréöppningar har bussanslutning till tunnelbanestationen Amendola Fiera. Pendelbussar går också ofta från flygplatsen Linate.

Good location just 3-4 minutes walking distance from the Central Station. Walking distance to everything. Good breakfast for that amount of money. Helpful reception, free WiFi and decent rooms. "Best Western hotel Berlino"
Dessvärre såg detta hotell bättre ut på bilderna än i verkligheten. Frukostmatsalen låg nere i källaren utan något dagsljusinsläpp. Ej hellre någon höjdar frukost, dock gott kaffe. Rummen var mycket lyhörda. Hissen var extremt liten, vi hade en i resesällskapet som hade rullator, denna fick vi bära upp för trapporna. Parkeringsmöjliheterna var att antingen […] stå ute på gatan ( vilket inte rekomenderas) eller ställa den i garaget under hotellet. Det kunde dock framgå att detta kostar en del, som man kanske inte räknat med. Ett plus är att det är bevakat dygnet runt. Tänk bara på att lasta ur bilen innan ni lämnar in den. Personalen kör ner bilen och det är mycket brant att gå upp med väskorna. Spårvagnarna gick ca 300 meter från hotellet och tog ca 35 min in till centrala Milano. Tänk bara på att köpa biljett innan ni stiger på spårvagnen, aktivera den sedan när ni stigit på. Detta är ett billigt och smidigt sätt att ta sig fram. Därefter rekomenderas turist bussarna med Hop on Hop off. Det finns 2 linjer med många sevärdheter och inte minst shopping gator, Buenos Aires är helt ok. Glöm inte att förboka om du vill gå och titta på Leonardo da Vincis Nattvarden. Om du är fotbollsintresserad missa inte en match på San Siro om du får möjlighet, detta är en upplevelse. Otroligt lyhört mellan rummen, dock inget trafikbuller. År 2011 förväntar man sig lite bättre nätverk på den dator som fanns tillgänglig i receptionen. Påminner om uppringt modem...Verifierad gästrecension

Bra Hotell med trevlig och hjälpsam personal. Rena och helt ok rum. Spårvagnshållplatser direkt till centrum 200meter från hotellet. Tar ca 20min att komma till Doumo. Frukosten är helt ok, mycket sötsaker men även lite annat "vanligt".Verifierad gästrecension

Rummet var rent, sängen bekväm och frukosten fanns på plats! Det man behöver utan + helt enkelt. Lyhört, ja! Extremt! Så har man otur får man nog stå ur med både det ena och det tredje. Rent placeringsmässigt var det väl inte det optimala. Visst fanns det spårvagn och buss lättillgängligt, men vi fick lägga ganska mycket tid på att ta oss fram och […] tillbaka till "kärnan". "Friendly staff, but a bit hard to get there"
We only stayed at this hotel one night, and the staff was very friendly. However this hotel is located far from the central station, and it was a bit difficult to get there. It said on the sight that there should be a tram that goes straight from the central station to the hotel, but we were never able to find it so we ended up taking a Taxi. The room […] was very clean, and spascious. We arrived very late at night, but the staff helped us find a wonderful little restaurant nearby. They also helped us getting a taxi next morning. Hotel is nice, people working there were very pleasant and helpful. Very clean and overall it was quite good, except for the location, since it takes a while to go to center, especialy if u want to have late dinner, it takes some time to fing a good spot, and that was the only downside... "Cheap and cheerful"
Nice hotel, clean with excellent staff who were very helpful. Just a short walk from the tram station. This became a problem after a couple of days when my feet got really sore. The included breakfast was better than most continental breakfasts I had ever had before. It's not fancy but it's perfectly adequate. "Basic Hotel"
Hotel is based north of Milan and takes a good 30 min walk or a 20 min ride on the metro. The room is basic, bed, TV ( around 2/3 english channels), small shower, wardrobe and desk with two chairs. Reception staff were helpful, they arranged tickets for a football match and gave good advice on the area and getting around. The San Siro is a 20 min brisk […] walk. "Visit to MiCo conference centre"
I had a good stay at Hotel Berlino. The people on reception were excellent, and the rooms and hotel were clean and well maintained. The only small downsides were that the bed was quite firm for my liking, and the hotel was a 20 minute walk from the MiCo conference centre (longer than I was hoping). About 20 minutes walk from the Milan Fiera Convention Center. Not located close to a metro station, but many buses and surface train within 5 minutes walk --- pretty easy. "Under my expectation"
I seriously had no ideas about this hotel. I booked it because of the affordable price and the availability. The location seems to be dangerous for only two women (me and mom) travelling around. But luckily nothing bad happened. Foyer and lobby need maintenance. The good thing is its service. Nice staff and big breakfast prepared from 7-10. "Good value, a little far from the center of things"
The hotel is not close to the city center, though the Number 1 tram will get you to most of the main sites. If you are using public transportation just ask for the Number 1 tram and it will take you to within one block of the hotel. For some reason the hotel staff doesn't recommend the Number 1--probably because it is old and non-air conditioned. We […] found that The Number 1 was the most convenient way to get from the hotel to the main sites in Milan--and back. The Number 1 also takes you down a portion of the Corso Sempione where there are several street-side cafes. The hotel is a good value and the neighborhood seemed safe, given that lots of locals live there. The breakfast was very nicely presented by an attentive young lady. There is an elevated roadway that passes about a half-block from the hotel, and it can be very noisy at night with all of the motorcycles. "Nice hotel, bad area"
The hotel itself is very good, was very pleased with it. However, it was the area that we had issues with, it was easy enough to get a tram into the city centre (20 mins) but the area the hotel was in there was not good. We arrived at about 8pm, and went out to try and find somewhere to eat, the only place open was a kebab shop. All other bars/restaurants/pubs […] were shuttered up, there were roadworks everywhere, and we didn't feel particulary safe walking around. Its a great hotel in terms of friendly staff, prompt service and relatively clean place. Our plugged bathroom drain was promptly fixed by the hotel, no questions asked. Breakfast buffet was also quite good. Its 20 mins away from the city center by tram. Some good restaurants in the neighborhood for traditional Italian fare. "Good Value For the Money"
The hotel staff was nice. There are three or four English language channels including FOX Crime...so you can watch "Law and Order", and "CSI Miami" until your heart's content. Close to several bus stops and the tram, which take approximately 20-25 minutes into City Centre. There are plenty of restaurants that are in relatively close proximity to the […] hotel. Located in a residential (not the best, but seemed safe) neighborhood so you avoid some of the touristy pricing for food and other things that you see if you stay in the City Centre. The continental breakfast at the hotel was pretty good. The beds are awful. For the internet each device requires a different password and user name. You have to enter them over, and over, and over again. Somewhat annoying, but it's free. WiFi was not working a couple of evenings. We didn't see many supermarkets near the hotel. Google Maps has a good ground view. Tip- public bus and train systems work great and much easier to understand than the subway in NYC. Bus tickets are good for 24 hours. No need to take taxis or rent a car to get to the places we wanted to visit. Take the metro in Milan..save a lot of money - easy system... Watch out for pick pockets. "Lovely hotel but a long way out!"
The hotel was very clean and pleasant. The staff spoke very good English and were very helpful with offering free Wifi codes and free tea/coffee facilities for the room (only shame being they forgot the milk!). "Bargain Hotel with excellent staff and transport"
The hotel is very clean with spacious rooms with excellent transport links. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Night-life in the immediate area is somewhat limited but the transport links to the city centre and beyond are excellent, regular, run all night and are very cheap ( a day ticket for bus, tram and underground is 4.50euro). Free Wi-Fi […] and internet access from a couple of PC's in the lounge. Nice, reasonably priced hotel with helpful staff and good breakfast selection. The room was fine, had a small safe, free wi-fi and was cleaned every day. There is a supermarket and a few inexpensive restaurants close by (mostly Chinese, though one "Ristorante La Rosa Blu" also does nice Italian food - including surprisingly good pizza). "Good and clean hotel"
We stayed at the hotel in late April-early May. The hotel was very clean and quiet inside. Rooms and bathrooms were tidy and quite high standards for 3 star hotel and generally very pleasant. But if you get a room with windows overlooking a street, like we did, you will have no sleep as the traffic noise is constant over the night.
