Didn't stay for breakfast. Had problems with a leaky air conditioner. But all that is no biggy cause the beds were AWESOME! They were the perfect firmness and the sheets were soft like a baby's bottom. You just melted into the bed. Best sleep I had in a hotel EVER.

Had a great time! Comfortable rooms. Fun at the pool. Loved the continental breakfast (poppy seed min-muffins, yogurt with toppings, juice, coffee, ect.)! Great location off of a main road with restaurants in walking distance. over all was not a bad stay for the price we paid. We were in town visiting some family friends so it was conveient to what we needed to do. Issues with my stay - first there was a stain on the sheets when we first checked in and we informed the front desk. They apologized and said they would send someone up to change the sheets. No one showed up until […] we called back down again. Secondly the breakfast, not sure if there were a lot of people or what the weekend we stayed but whn we got down on Sunday, there were no plates, no silverware, and the food was almost empty so we had to ask the front desk to get us plates so that we could get what food was remaining. Didn't like the tiny pillows. You could hear EVERYTHING from next room. I couldn't sleep because of all the noise. Perhaps the headboards should be bolted to the walls, not to mention I could hear what was being said as well. It was a decent breakfast, not near as good as the Counry Inn and Suites we stayed at in Minnesota. After a long week and a 6-hour drive, I needed a good night's sleep and I got it. It was a very comfortable bed. It was quiet. The breakfast in the AM was better than most at similar hotels. A very nice place, it is the second time I have stayed there and I have been pleased both times. The hot breakfast was very good, the rooms clean and the bed was comfortable. The staff was pleasent and helpful. I will use this hotel on my next trip down.

Very nice Hotel with welcoming staff. Room was a bit small for 2 queen beds but was sufficient. Great location to the city and lots of amenities nearby. Only small complaint is that the shower curtain barely reached the tub and that led to water flowing onto the floor.

Check in perfect. Desk clerk perfect. Room perfect. Location perfect. Breakfast service not so much. Breakfast was to be served till 10:30 AM on the days that we were there. Got down to the breakfast room at 10:10 AM. No eggs, no sauage, only waffle batter left. Ask the attendant to bring out more, she nodded and walked away. At 10:20 AM ask her when […] she re-appeared when the hot stuff would be out and she stated to us that "no, it's too late, I'm cleaning up". Our family was NOT HAPPY. This isn't rocket science, its breakfast. Meanwhile the attandents husband and little son were eating breakfast and they were NOT guest of the hotel. I don't care if you have to leave early because you are too lazy to do your job, but breakfast is till 10:30 not till you decide it's over. For a small hotel Northwest outside of Chicago, it's been always a pleasure. Since it is in close proximity of my final business destination, I stay at least two times a year, different seasons. Never had any problems, nothing to complain. Administration is always welcoming and accommodating. Great value for services. Totally recommend.

Hotel was good and clean. Our only problem was that our organization reserved a block of rooms, however not enough. Country Inn would not honor the discounted price to the overflow. attn. Country Inn, we are coming back in Febuary. Should we look to stay elsewhere?

Was there for a cheer competition at the DuPage EXPO--very conveniently located. Allowed us late checkout on Sunday. Breakfast area got a little crowded and there were kids running up and down halls, but that's because of the competition--no fault to Country Inn. Was a great option for us, and I would definitely recommend!

Only complaint was that the staff seemed to have trouble keeping up with keeping food refilled for breakfast . We were downstairs to eat by 7:15 and the eggs and hashbrowns were gonevand no one refilled them after the frontbdesk was informed

We stayed as part of a group birthday/night away. Rooms were comfortable and we all slept well. The hotel was hard to see coming into it. Front desk was pleasant and the breakfast was great!! The queen sized beds were actually queen sized. Would return.

We were delighted to see our Granchildren and spend Thanksgiving with them. We played games, ate an awesome dinner, and laughed. Now there were 3 adults and 2 dogs. We came later in the evening after seeing the family and were tired., We were on the 3rd floor and the room was huge with 2 queen size beds. We were not there for Black Friday as there is […] a mall close by but we never heard or saw anything. There is some road work going on but not at the hotel. e to check out until noon there and so there is never any hurry. Our free basket was delicious and we slept well. The room was quiet, we love their extra window darkening shades, and I highly recommend them. The hotel was ok. About right for the price. The pool is a little small, but at least it is indoor! Much of the hotel is beginning to show is age. Lots of fix up jobs with no paint, etc. but these are relatively small. Breakfast was pretty good compared to similarly priced hotels.

Great restaurants and shopping in the immediate area. Would definitely be my hotel of choice in the St. Charles area. Only minor complaint would be the Sunbeam hair dryer that is furnished. Many hotels use this hair dryer and it is really poor.

Room temperature control did not work . The internet speed was extremely slow (less than .5MG). Staff was very friendly and helpful. Location was excellent but lots of road construction nearby made trips longer than they should be.

I wish I could give a better rating because part of my stay was fine. The room was clean and the location was convenient to business I was in town for. However, the last 2 nights of my stay there was a large group staying at the hotel that was extremely loud and inconsiderate of the fact that there were other people in the hotel besides them. One night, […] they used a meeting room that was across the hall from my room for a party. There was loud music and very loud talking. The party kept spilling out into the hallway, which made any kind of rest impossible. I complained to the front desk twice and also asked the group twice on my own to quiet down. If the hotel allowed this group to use a hotel meeting room, they should have put a time limit on it - perhaps until 11pm or something, so as not to disturb other guests who were not there to party and be up all night. Furthermore, despite my repeated complaints and requests for support from the staff to control this crowd, I felt they did not handle the situation, and barely even apologized for the horrible night I was having. They didn't offer to move me to a quieter part of the hotel (which would have been an inconvenience to me, but at least I would have been able to sleep!), or comp my last night when I had such a miserable experience. This hotel has nice rooms at a good value - they just need better crowd control with their big groups to make sure those groups don't inconvenience their other paying guests. Läs mer

The Hotel was very clean and all in all good value. The only negative was the organisation at breakfast and disappointing. The room was packed full of guests the first morning at 08.30 and their was no hot bacon or sausage left. The Hotel apart from this was very good,very clean and good value for money

Room was great. The front end service was good. The breakfast was unsatisfactory. We arrived to the breackfast are about 7:05. We're early risers and needed to get on the road. There was practically nothing there to eat. There was no hot food at all. The milk was not set up. One of the cereals was empty. Abpout the only thing you could eat was Yogurt, […] donuts (still frozen), bagels and toast. While we were there some of the other foods started to come out. By the time we left the area about 7:35 there was sausages, eggs and bisquits. I've been in business all my life and where I come from, 7:00 means 7:00. The hostess was not very friendly and appeared to wish she was somewhere else. It's too bad that we experienced this because the rest of our stay at your motel was very enjoyable. Läs mer

The type of flooring used between the floor levels readily transmits noise. We had requested a change in rooms after the first night in which we heard every step by the individual occupying the room above us, even though we knew that it was no fault of the occupant. The young lady at the front desk was a bit indifferent and non-apologetic when we requested […] the change the next morning. During the hasty change, I inadvertently left a pair of casual shoes behind in the room. Despite the fact that we were still staying at this hotel for a further two nights, no one from the hotel even attempted to let us know that they had my shoes. Upon our return home, and upon realizing that I had misplaced my shoes, I inquired with the hotel into whether or not they had my shoes. I was told that the housekeeper claimed that they had had the shoes in a storage area “for over a week”. Clearly, they need to ramp up their attention to caring and detail for their guests. This lackadaisical attitude appears to be consistent with the overall tiredness of the hotel. The staff was fairly friendly, but the overall package was lacklustre at best. We feel that the 4.4 rating that this hotel received is very generous and undeserved. I’m glad that we used hotel.com, and as such received a lower than rack-rate pricing. Läs mer

We ended up staying two nights. The man working the front desk when I called to say we were arriving earlier then I booked was very helpful, and was able to get us the same suite. The pool & exercise area was nice. Breakfast had alot of variety and was kept clean and stocked. I did have a problem that housekeeping never came to make up the room on Saturday. The toilet in our room was slow when we checked in and got periodically worse. The front desk said it was because of the rain we had had that day. The toilet downstairs by the pool was also clogged, but there was no "out of order" sign on the door. Consequently, people continued to use a toilet that was clogged ... you can picture the rest. Still no […] sign on the door that it was not usable. The toilet in our room became impossible to flush. I called downstairs and they said again it was the storm. So, I took the cover off the toilet back and played around the huge water-saver tank. Finally, I pushed the silver push button and held it in for about 10 seconds ... there was a big whoosh! and the toilet cleared. Unfortunately, we were checking out that morning so for about an hour, we had a workable toilet! Läs mer
