Utmärkt hotel Nära Hauptbahnhof 2 min promenad till flygbussen Utmärkt frukost den bästa på länge

Hotellet låg nära Centralstationen och att gå till Altstadt är inga problem. Hotellet är klassiskt men slitet men rummen är bra men lite fläckar och en spricka i sänggaveln gör att det är lite dystert. Hotellfrukosten var ok eftersom den ingick. Skulle dock välja ett annat hotell om vi besöker München någon mer gång.

At first sight a very nice room with a nice interior decoration. But after a while you started seeing that is was pretty worn down. Cracks in the bathroom door, dents and marks in floor and walls. A bathtub sink that didn't drain properly, with the effect that your feet were constantly under water, and the next person to shower either had to wait 20 […] min for the water to drain or step into your dirty water. I stayed in both a single room and a double room during my stay and must say the single room met my expectations better than the double room. Strip clubs and casinos line the blocks closest to the hotel. Nevertheless it's still in a very good location with walking distance to almost all tourist attractions. The closeness to the central station (just 50 m) is also a big plus if you're in town just for a couple of days. Läs mer

Hotellet har varit snyggt men det var ett par 10-tal år sedan. Inget större fel på något dock utan allt var fräscht och rent. Sängen något hård. Prövade aldrig frukosten för de ville ha €16 för den.

Vårt rum var inte renoverat. En fruktansvärt smutsig matta, lampskärmar var fulla med äckliga fläckar. Dock var sängarna bra och badrummet helt OK. Synd att inte allt var bra i rummet, för hotellet i sig väldigt trevligt med mycket bra frukost, trevlig bar, hjälpsam personal. Perfekt läge.

I was surprised and disappointed by the quality of this hotel--I expected far more based on the reviews I had read. I arrived at about 10 a.m., and was told that no room would be ready before 2 p.m. No offer to store luggage--I had to ask. The lobby was run-down, and the restroom area on the lower level reeked of smoke. I waited for about an hour in […] the lobby (they did let me have an internet code) and then saw that others who had arrived after me were being given a room. I asked again and this time they did find one for me. The room was large and light (a plus), but the furniture was scarred and worn. The bathroom was not very clean--I ended up cleaning areas of the bathroom with wipes just to feel OK using it. I called the reception a couple of times with questions, and always felt that it was a big imposition--no sense of friendly service. One woman at the reception was more helpful than the guys, who seemed as if they couldn't care less. I don't mind a hotel being a little run-down, but not being cleaned right and no spirit of helpfulness rates very low in my book. I wouldn't return to or recommend this hotel. Läs mer

We had a group of 6 pax and stayed in 3 rooms at the Regent Hotel in late April 2012. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The only setback was the rooms were a bit stuffy as the weather was pretty warm. We had to open the windows during the night

The hotel was nice and the staff was friendly. The location next to the central railway station was maybe not the prettiest one but very convenient getting into the old town. The hotel lobby has a very luxorious feeling!

Great location, friendly people. Had good time staying in munich for 3 niights. Reason why i choose that hotel cos its near by train station. Ppl are nice and friendly. Breakfast was also okay. I'd like to recommand this hotel to my friend

My husband and I spent our last night in Munich at the Regent Hotel. The staff was great, the lobby was nice, and the breakfast was great. The proximity to the Marienplatz and everything else around Munich was great -- just a short walk away. The room was sparse (as most of them are in Germany); however, there were stains on the chair in the room and […] the floor in the bathroom wasn't completely clean. Great location-Attentive staff-Clen and comfortable rooms

The hotel is in a convenient location. The lobby is nice while the rooms feel bare and needing some touch up. Our impression was that it would be nicer than it actual was but that it was adequate.

An older hotel near the main train station. Furniture/furnishings are a little dated, but clean in general. Very short walk to the hotel, which makes it convenient for a quick stay overnight.

The stayed room is old fashion. It is very difficult to access the internect connection.

Excellent location (one block from the D-Bahn S-trains). Large clean comfortable room and bath, well maintained. Helpful staff. Excellent breakfast inc. in the pre-pay Hotels.com reservation. Will be my first choice next time in Munich. Was there in January so no comment for hot-weather conditions. Winter stay was comfortable in every way.

Central, works well, no fancyness, good value for money

The hotel was clean, the breakfast was good and it was within walking distance of the Train Station and the City Centre. It was a great choice for what we were looking to do which was to see the sights of Munich and use as a base for day trips in Bavaria. The only downside was that the beds in our room were very firm.

This is a very conveniently located hotel with good service and the internet is free!

All seem OK at a glance: rather nice room, good location etc. However, room smell tobacco, bathroom taps do not function properly and there is an overall feeling of lack of maintenance (bottom of doors out of shape, etc.). Very slow internet connection.

Only drawback was the lack of airconditionaing. We were in Munich in August 2011 and it was pretty warm .This from West Australians who are well accustomed to hea. We couldnt get a fan on the first night , the hotelk didnt have enough for those who wanted one. We stayed in the Regent hotel for the opening weekend of Octoberfest, so we expected the price to be high. The location is fantastic - across the street from the rail station and about 4 blocks from Octoberfest and the central square. Loved it. The breakfast was very overpriced. Seriously, I did a last minute cheap booking, and this place was HUGE. Nice room. Parking in the area is a pain, but there are a few garages right next door. By train though, you're at your front door. You're right by the red light district, but it's not at all unsafe.

This hotel had an amazing breakfast buffet included into the price of the room. Internet was also included which was great. Prefect location, around the block from the train station and within walking distance to popular Munich tourist attractions.

great location for rail station- really helpful staff

The room is very basic and this was reflected in the Price . However a 4 star without toliteries is very unusual The Tempratrue was in the high 30,s and there is no Airconditioning , the Trains and traffic makes it impossible to sleep with the windows open , theorefore I did not sleep very much during my Stay The TV is so small and dated the Screen […] was smaller than the back] The room was very large , but was mostly wasted space I was not aware of the room having a Deposit Safe . I stayed at hotel for one night while in Munich for concert. The hotel is located direction across the street from the main train station. The room was clean and comfortable. The room was rather large for a European hotel. Also, the room had a separate bathroom (some European hotels have the bathroom as part of the room). The hotel did not have any […] type of room service. We returned to the hotel late and needed to order food. We were told that we could get food at the lobby bar. However, there was no food available. I would recommend this hotel to a friend. It’s a nice hotel in a convenient location. Läs mer

Nice hotel. Sort of difficult to find hotel entrance. But we did find it, and how to get to it. Parking is underneath the hotel. We walked to do laundry and to find a restaurant. Both close by.

The hotel room I was allocated bore no relation to the picture on the Hotelc.com website, I was really schocked, I would not have been prepared to stay in room of this standard. To their credit the hotel offered me a room in their sister hotel before checking me in, I was tired and just wanted to crash so I accepted the room at the Regent, on seeing […] the room I agreed to relocate to the sister hotel which was very nice, but was more than 1km and a taxi fare away from where I had planned to stay. The location of this hotel is excellent if travelling by train to Munich - it is approximately 1/2 block to the central train station. The hotel is also an easy walking distance from the Marienplatz (10-15 minutes). Our check-in was delayed, and the hotel staff were not too accomodating, but the room was clean and reasonably spacious.

Had a lovely stay at the Regent. Really impressed with the service. An excellent value hotel.

Very good location, just accross the street from the main train station. Quiet and comfortable area. You get what you expect from a 3 stars hotel

Room was very small. Everything needs upgrading. Carpets are stained, everything smells old and smoky. I would not recommend staying at this hotel to anyone. Completely overpriced.
