Hotell La Casa de la Marquesa - Queretaro

The Marquesa is a wonderful place, and wouldn't stay anyplace else in Queretaro. That said, we paid an extra $50 a night over the booked, prepaid rate to stay in the featured building shown in the photos. We were lucky that the hotel wasn't heavily booked and a great room was available. I use Hotels.com quite a bit as well as Tripadvisor, but I don't […] know how to guarantee you will get the "real" Marquesa without contacting hotel directly. Traveled to Queretaro for vacation and decided to purchase the a Royal suite based on the images (both on hotels.com and Casa de la Marquesa's website). When we arrived we were disappointed to see that the room we were given appeared to be a Delux suite, one much cheaper and far more spartan than we felt we had booked. We confronted the staff about […] the issue and were informed that our room was in fact a Royal suite, but that they had another open room which we could look at, this room was the cheaper option. The rooms were the same level of "luxury" with the only difference being two queen beds. Unlike the hotel claims on both websites not all rooms have balconies (neither we saw had them) and all bit the few imperial suites are plainly decorated rooms. That having said the hotel was beautiful, and staff was pleasant and accommodating. Were it not for the misrepresentation of the rooms we would have been totally happy with our stay. Läs mer

Really Good Hotel. But the room is not the same as advertise in web, alos the valet parking is an extra cost which they do not advice until the next day w/o option.

Great place and beautiful building, but the service is more of a 3-start hotel. That is not much service at all. It's not a boutique-hotel feeling at all but it is still a very nice hotel and the location is perfect.

The service was extraordinary and the building was exquisite. My only complaint was the linens, towels, etc were shabby, tread bare and the towels had frayed edges.

This boutique hotel is located in an old mansion with luzuriously appointed lobby and common spaces. Its best feature in my view is the personnel's wonderfully helpful and courteous attitude. After reserving this hotel through your company, my room was placed in an adjacent property that was absolutely horrible. No running water all the time, electricity on and off, bed with springs coming out. Finally after many complains, other rooms were given to us.

This was my second stay, traveling on business. I enjoy the historic value and authenticity. This is not for everyone and not buisness friendl by US standards but comfortable cleanand royal.

Extraordinary piece of history. Beautifully kept hotel with great service. Only complaint was tht mattresses were thin and uncomfortable but this is fairy standard for Mexico. Would highly recommend this hotel.

Great hotel and town! It is a very quaint town and the hotel went out of their way to make us feel at home. We didn't speak a lot of Spanish and they went out of there way to still help to the best of their ability and find us a very inexpensive English speaking tour guide. I can't wait to go back!

The hotel has an interesting history, but there were other properties nearby that were more updated and with more modern amenities. The staff was truly accomodating and nice, but the property itself was old and lacking luster.

It is a beautiful place, perfectly located in downtown Querétaro and filled with history. The royal rooms are very spacious, comfortable and retain that colonial feel. Service is not great but certainly good enough for a great experience. Consider that the main hall of the hotel is in itself one of the main attractions of the city.

Ok let's start with the fact that they don't tell you that they have two hotels so you have to be specific when booking. We got a very beautiful room in the main hotel but it was right in the center of the main breakfast room/dining room. So every morning at 10 a.m. there was a piano playing so if you want to sleep in forget that idea walls are paper […] thin. Our room b/c we let the ac on continuously the pipes froze so when we went out we would have to leave it off and turn it on when we got back. It was just too hot. Llegamos y nos reservacion en el anexo, no en la Casa Portuguesa. tuvimos de que pagar la diferencia para que nos dieran la habitacion dentro de la Casa. la primera noche estubo Ok, la seguna se inundo el baño asi que a las 2 de la madrugada tuvimos que cambiar de habitacion lo cual fue incomodo.gracias por preguntar .saludos.

立地・雰囲気・食事がよかった。タオルなどのアメニティーが４人(大人２、子供２）に対し、１枚しかついていなくて、何度も依頼して、やっと持ってきてもらった。夜間は門に人がいなくて、別棟のロビーに鍵を開けてもらわなくてはならないのが、不便だった。けれど、素敵な部屋で、古くても水回りもよく整っていてよかった。

el pasado día viernes 10 de febrero nos hospedamos mi familia y su servidora en las instalaciones de su hotel. La reservación la hice vía INTERNET (hoteles.com) y una vez que recibí la carta de confirmación hablé vía telefónica al hotel para confirmar que estaba hecha la reservación y aproveché para solicitar el tipo de camas que necesitaba. En NINGÚN […] momento se me dijo que no ÍBAMOS a estar hospedados en la casona, sino en un lugar anexo, SITUACIÓN que al registrarme me informaron, lo que me ocasiono serios problemas con las personas que me acompañaban. Después de grandes discusiones acepté quedarme ahi y me iban a cobrar un costo adicional, pero sucede que se truena la caldera y no hubo agua por la noche y se podrán imaginar como me fué con mi fam. concluyendo.....me fué fatal en su hotel...el trato fue de lo peor...bueno, el único que nos trató bien fue el muchacho que nos cargó las maletas. Tienen un personal de tercera, empezando por su gerente que solo repetía, como si yo fuera idiota, la expresion "como le vuelvo a repetir"(parecía robot)...cosa que alteró mi paciencia y le grité maldiciendo el hotel (todo esto frente a otros huéspedes)....lo siento. Fuí a ese hotel recomendada por mi familia a los que les platiqué lo sucedido y créame que ellos mismos me dijeron que jamás volverán a recomendarlo. .todo gracias a su personal. Läs mer

El hotel es muy bonito pero me parece descuidado. La regadera estaba pesima y el agua a veces estaba helada y a veces quemaba. No avisaron en la entrada que cargarían costos de estacionamiento. No dieron el numero para comunicarse a recepción y nuestra habitacion estaba en otro edificio (esto tampoco se informó). Además, el carro estaba sobre la acera […] y no en el estacionamiento. La casa dentro de la cual funciona el hotel es una magnifica casa colonial muy bien conservada y adecuada para hotel con todas las comodidades sin perder el encanto de una casona de este tipo. No pude hacer mis propias llamadas desde la habitacion. Tuve que pedir que alguien en la recepciopn las hiciera! Me dijeron que el sistema estava mal y no lo solucionaron...
