loved the place- very quiet, very genteel- be prepared for a strict dress code which should be expected for an upscale golf lodging-only drawback was that we wished there were king beds- do know there will not be a mini fridge or microwave or coffeemaker in the room

This hotel was very nice, especially for the price we got through hotel.com. We found it for a girl's getaway weekend. It was the perfect location-close to everything but completely removed from the crowded & busy theme park & business areas. Rooms were very nice, updated and clean! My stay was not good. I reserved a room with 2 beds arrived after a day at Universal to one king bed. My kids had to sleep pn very uncomfortable pull outs. Dress code is required to eat at the hotel as a result we left early. Not a place to go unless your a male golfer in a polo and jacket.

I enjoyed the stay the place was very clean and comfortable and safe which is all I am looking for in a place to stay in an unfamiliar town. There was no coffee machine in room and no exhaust fan in bathroom. I will stay there again if there is a need for me to be in the area.

Well I loved this property, great amenities, staff, super clean etc. the only thing that sucked was we were checking out and wanted to grab lunch at the restaurant and they had a dress code for men by having to wear a collared shirt... Well since this was mostly a trip to go to the Disney parks and booked this room for only one night before checking […] into our Disney resort we did not pack collared shirts and so was denied service at the restaurant and offered us to eat at the pool bar... Understand it a bit but you should have seen some of the people eating in that dining room I was wearing nice shoes jeans and a penguin t shirt. I was surprised at the size of the room (and bathroom) and comfort of the bed. The grounds are well kept. The staff was friendly, courteous and accommodating. I am going back soon. My one detract ion is the size of the tv, but who wants o stay n the room when you have the magnificent Bay Hill golf course outside.

My husband and I had a wonderful time at Bay Hill! We wanted a getaway in the middle of Orlando and we were extremely pleased. The crowd is older, but the resort is quiet, well kept and great if you want to relax. We really enjoyed our first baby- free getaway and will definitely return!

We're not golfers but we love the nicer things in life. This hotel was an unexpected gem!! Nice rooms, relaxed general atmosphere and really well trained, professional staff!! This place oozes in golf charm and character! I'm a traditional golfer and I loved the whole vibe here. I felt like I was a club member of Bay hill here the whole time during my stay. Bay Hill remains a bastion of golf in Fla so I was really shocked to see it available via Hotels.com. Glad I had a GPS as it is off the beaten path ( which is NICE in Orlando). The property definetly needs a facelift from the outside, and I have to say I was initially really disappointed. Once inside, you can feel the warmth, the history and the upgrades […] to the interior. Staff could not be more helpful and gracious. Food is excellent and very reasonably priced. My room had masculine touches ( it IS Bay Hill after all) yet fairly neutral with awesome beds and a huge flat screen TV. I was on the main floor and could sit outside my room if I wanted, but chose the lounge/dining room patio to watch the golf action! I must say that after staff, I was the youngest person there, but that too was nice after my horrible stay at REUNION. Toiletries were top notch and I enjoyed my stay immensely. Only pitfall, no one to help with my bags etc at 6 am (?) I give Bay Hill a 9 out of 10 for comfort and excellent service. The golf is pretty incredible too. Läs mer

The facilities were renovated and the grounds were beautiful, even in January, but it still had a "feel" about it that I can't explain. Felt old. Not sure. I don't play golf so don't take my word for it alone.

Surprised at how back in time, nice the entire place and staff were. Wonderful room, great bed, tv were a little dated but all worked nicely. Super clean, and eat there, don't search for anywhere else because they have very good food.

Great hotel! I've been in Orlando many times and in many hotels, but this is one of the best! It's not actually a hotel, it's a lodge from a great golf club so it has all its amenities open for the guests. Good gym, good spa, good service. Rooms are very confortable also. Internet works fine! Only negative not is: the pool, spa, and gym close 7 or 8pm […] depending on the day. So if you spent the day out at the park and want to relax in the jacuzzi or work out, forget about it. This hotel is good just for old golf players. I don’t recommend it to family and neither for businessmen, after 8 pm there is no service, no spa and no pool. Meals are too expensive and staffs are allways tired and start to kick you out at 8 am.

First time at Bay Hill would definitely return. Made it a quick one nighter while driving from FL to NJ. The hotel is connected to the famous Bay Hill course. The rates were reasonable. This hotel has a dated look to it but it is nice, clean, and quiet. We travel to Orlando often and have stayed at a variety of local hotels, timeshares, and resorts. We had quite a few activities planned with our children for this trip so a peaceful night's sleep was a priority. This was a country club style hotel. The rooms were very spacious and the bed was very comfortable. These items are so important for a frequent traveler like me. Cleanliness was also apparent in the 2 rooms and bathroom.

My wife and I only stayed for one night absolutely terrific time. The hotel really has a rustic traditional golf feel to be enjoyed. We can't wait to come back to Orlando to stay at Arnold palmers again.
