Helt ok hotel. Buss rätt över gatan till Venedig. Tar ca 10 min.

Vi hade egentligen tänkt bo i Venedig men det var alldeles för dyrt med parkeringsharage och långt att släpa packningen från bilen i hettan. Valet föll därför på Mestre. Hotellet hade sänkt priset på rum. Det putsades och fejades i foajen. Rummet var mörkt då fönstret mot gatan var smalt och täcktes av en gardin som ej gick att dra åt sidan. Att hotellet […] byggdes på 70-talet var tydligt. Frukosten var väl söt. Även matsalen var mörk med fördragna fönster Receptionisterna var vänliga. Hotellets parkering var full så vi fick därför parkera i ett närbeläget garage. Med tanke på de fyrstjärniga hotell vi tidigare bott på kändes det här som mer trestjärnigt. Det tog 10 minuter att gå till stationen där flygbussen gick till/från. Vi hade busshållplatsen utanför dörren som tog oss in till Venedig på 10 minuter. Personalen var hjälpsamma och mycket trevliga. Det går att köpa busskort som är ett "måste ha" i receptionen. Frukosten var bra för att vara italiensk. Trevlig och hjälpsam personal. Det ligger inte långt ifrån flygbussens hållplats. Tio minuters gångtid. Går även att ta buss. Vi kom tidigt, men fick checka in ändå, trots att vi skulle ha fyra rum. Hotellet ligger på fastlandet inte långt ifrån bron över till Venedig. Busshållplats utanför hotellet. Det tar 10-15 minuter in till Venedig. Perfekt att […] köpa ett busskort som gäller på bussar och vattenbussarna på kanalerna. Frukosten var bra, men vi saknade färsk frukt och grönsaker. Vårt flyg hem gick på kvällen, och det var inga problem att förvara väskorna på hotellet när vi tillbringade dagen i Venedig. With the bus station to Venice just right across hotel, it is a fantastic location. Service was good with helpful reception . Breakfast provides the basic one like bread, cheese, ham, cereal.. Coffee tea ; not to expect a high variety one. A grocery store just next to the hotel , besides that nothing much around the area. So I would suggest to go Venice […] instead. The people in the restaurant were a little snooty, and they had BARELY cooked bacon with the breakfast. Very limited parking, but easy to take the bus to Venice. Great room though.

Overall satisfied for the money spent..it was a bargain...Internet access was not good. It was not a problem getting to Venice with the public bus service.

Delfino next door is updated with larger rooms....maybe a few more dollars. The gym room might be a plus at Abasciatori......but the room was very small and barely enough room to move around the bed. Bed was good. TV was good. Shower head holder was not stable (easy to fix) and there were some dark places around the shower molding.....also EASY TO FIX. […] Soundproof rooms? NOT AT ALL............I could hear a complete conversation in Chinese next door...maybe a loud talking phone call. We were totally impressed with the location, the room and the service provided. The buffet breakfasts were a great way to start the day. Breakfast was available until 10 am. I had a good stay in this hotel. Very prime location. Bus to Venice just in front of the hotel. A supermarket was there just next door. The room was of a decent size as expected (i didn't have great experiences with room sizes in the recent past with other hotels, as what is shown in the pictures is normally not there). the hotel staff was ok. Helped […] to know about places to visit in Venice. The only thing I didn't really like was the breakfast. It was really weird. They never change the menu. I stayed there for three nights & menu was exactly same on all three days. Not even a single item to eat for vegetarians except 2 types of fruits. Also they didn't provide some plates/forks in the room to eat something of your own (being vegetarian, I prefer to eat some salads/other stuff). The size of our room was great. Lots of space and a large bed and bathroom. The only thing was the bed was extremely uncomforatble. And the pillows were like sleeping on rocks so the sleep was not the best. But space was great. It was a little annoying to take the bus in to venice after a couple times. You are not in the middle of Venice you do have […] to take a bus there and the bus is usually jam packed so forget about bringing luggage. Or at least try to do it only once. My husband and I did it on the way to the hotel and it was so difficult with everyone on the bus that we just decded to cab it back to the train station. But the price back to the station was dramatically different then what they offer at the train station so reccomend bus to hotel from station but not back. Besides this room is nice and clean, a market is right next door and actually quite a few restaurants nearby as well. Läs mer

I stayed here with my boyfriend for a long weekend, the hotel and staff were lovely. The only downfall was the breakfast (included) as there was a poor selection. Reception staff were very helpful. The location of the hotel is only a 10 minute bus journey which is very easy to catch both ways. Right on busline 4L, get bus tickets from desk. Quick to/from Venice Piazza De Roma and Trainstation, vaporetto stops. Nice lobby, plain and comfortable rooms. We arrived in the early afternoon on a warm, but not hot day, checked in and found the room to be very hot. Turned on the AC and after about an hour it was still very warm. We talked to the girl at the front desk who told us that the AC was turned off to the whole building for the winter. We went off to dinner, leaving the window open, and when we got […] back it was just unacceptably hot, plus the noise from the street below was very loud. We went down to the fron desk to complain and asked for another room....she found an empty room on the back side of the building which was not only much cooler, but also had no street noise. We then had a peaceful and comfortable night. So if you come here after the AC is turned off be sure to get a room in the back. The breakfast was excellent as is the location. Hotel was in good location to transport links and within walking distance to the main square in Mestre. The rooms were modest, we had a fridge which was useful to chill drinks. The bathroom was small and compact but it had adequate facilities (there was no bath, shower only). The reception staff were very helpful and did provide us with an adapter for […] a 5 euro deposit. I have stayed at this hotel before. My room has always been spacious & comfortable. However, this time it was the size of a broom closet! I also did not know they made such small beds. I am tiny & I kept hitting my elbows in the shower. :(

These hotel is a good option for who are visiting Venice with a car. It's a good hotel with good price. The main problems was the internet (very slow) and the poor breakfast.

My family and I liked the hotel overall. It's not very modern since decoration is a little outdated, however it's very clean and rooms are comfortable. Good breakfast buffet. 1st i booked room throw hotels.com and when i went to check in they told me i booked room for 1 person only after taking to every one there they agree i pay extra #e20.00 2nd room was really bad ,bed was for baby dont fit for 1 person front disk girl was screaming at us after all bad idea to stay read all reviews dont be like me just losing $$

I was checked into my room only to find out it hadn't been cleaned yet. I had to wait 45 mins before I could go back in. The shower head was broken and the AC system was leaking so the carpet was saturated and the room smelt of damp. There was also a constant dripping sound in the bathroom which would not stop!

Bus station in front of the hotel, Staff was kind and helpfull. The room was old and small. It looks much better on the pictures here. The AC wasn't working and even we told this, they didn't fix it. We had to tell the again the other day and the finally fixed it. This hotel is on the mainland but a great option to the high priced, old hotels in Venice per say. A bus at the door of the hotel takes you to Plaza Rome in Venice in less than 10 min. The rooms were clean and spacious. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The included buffet breakfast consisted of eggs, cold meat, cereal and fresh baked croissants. This hotel is great value! It is a 10 minute walk from the Mestre bus/train station, next door to a supermarket and close to kebab/pizza restaurants and some pubs. It is very easy […] to get into central Venice. There is a bus right across the street that comes every 10 mins and takes about 12 mins to get to the main bus station in Venice. It costs a little over a euro one way and you can get the ticket at the reception (along with vaporetta tickets). Keep in mind though that st.mark's square is about a 35 min walk from Piazalle Roma ( the bus station). Unless you want to lug your bags through the narrow, busy streets and (many) staircases of Venice and pay a fortune for a dump, I would recommend staying in the Mestre area and this hotel was great value for the money. A great place to stay if you want to visit Venice and the area. Local bus to Venice is 1.20 Euros.and takes about 15 minutes to get to Piazzale Roma.Supermarket is next door to the hotel. Lovely breakfast included in price.Good value for money.

Easy to get Venice. 1.30€ ticket got from downstairs and bus from front of the hotel. Grocery , outlet store and restauants are within couple blocks. Clean room and breakfast. A lot then Venice hotels of course not Ritz Carlton. But saves a lot money.

Nice hotel for a short stay, clean and pleasant rooms although a bit small. Breakfast included is a bonus. There is not a lot of entertainment/amenities around the hotel itself so you would need to get a bus elsewhere. The staff were friendly and helpful. Internet really sucks, and it's better to stop the business if you can't offer a good quality internet in today's world. Better ask the people to pay for the internet rather than offering them a POOREST EVER BANDWIDTH internet connection for free, it was disgusting, I've to go to internet club to use the internet. The best thing about the hotel is its location. Just 10 minutes away from Venice's Piazza de Roma by a bus that you can take right across the street and which runs up to 1 AM. For the same price you'd probably get a much less nicer room within Venice proper. The neighborhood is safe and the room is very clean.
