The location of this hotel is perfect, right in the heart of the major attractions. It has nice breakfast, if it is included in your booking. This is the end of my positive review of the hotel. The service of the hotel was sub-par. Front desk doesn't have a good knowledge and recommend restaurants. The worst is when we ask to call a taxi instead of […] using their over priced hotel car service 5 times of the normal taxi rate going from hotel to Prague's main train station, their front desk person shu-shi us off. Rude indeed. By the way, it is walking distance to the train station if you don't mind walking with your stuff. If you only care about location and nothing else, this can still be a viable choice of hotel in Prague. Läs mer

the location of this hotel was perfect...close to the famous clock, and also Republic Plaza. Shopping both souvenirs and quality modern shops very near. the breakfasts were great..abundant and appealing to every nationality.

We spent a few days in Prague in the later part of October, and must say that everything was great. The Hotel service was great, the employees were firendly and helpful. The brealfast buffet was abundant and they offer a great selection to choose from. Most of all is the location of the hotel. I would satay again and will recommend it to everybody.

My husband and I spent a week at the Best Western Meteor Plaza in Prague, and we were really happy with our experience. The hotel is cozy and clean, the breakfast was great, and we walked to all the key sites from the hotel, including the Palace and St. Vitus' Cathedral. We will stay there again if we go back to Prague.

The hotel was perfect. The only inconvinience we encountered was that the A/C was not working in our room. They did offer us a fan which we used. Other than that little thing everything else was to our satisfaction.

Just spent 3 days and nights at Best Western Meteor Plaza in Prague. It was so strategically located - just perfect for walking all over the city. The hotel is old but it has been refreshed and the staff were helpful and kind. Breakfasts which are included with certain bookings are absolutely first class, hot and cold buffet, lots of good coffee or […] tea and great selection. The little lobby bar is a great place to have a glass of something before heading out for the evening. It was good value for money and I would stay there again. Läs mer

Great location! Quiet hotel. Most rooms face inner quiet couryard. Close to all major sites and can walk to everything. We will stay again if we ever come back to Prague.

This hotel was much less expensive than other hotels in the area. while the room is small, it is clean and has a good bathroom. Only missing is an iron and board in the room. They do have them upon request. the staff is wonderful. Breakfast included and is okay.

Ideal location only 10 minute walk from central station and 50 metres from Powder Tower. The room was of a good standard and the staff were friendly. Breakfast was acceptable. Overall, the hotel is good value

This was definitely an outstanding location, right in the heart of the city and within easy walking distance of public transportation. The staff spoke perfect English and was enormously gracious and helpful. It is NOT a five start hotel, but it is very clean and comfortable and the price is excellent. I'd definitely recommend it!

Hotel was south of the train station in a relatively poor neighborhood. Pick a hotel nearer to Marienplatz or near the outdoor market just south of Marienplatz. No Air Conditioning in this hotel either.

This hotel is about 10 minutes slow walk from the old town square and is really on a main street where you can't get lost getting to or from it. I was able to get all over Prague from this starting point without any issues. If you prefer to take tours there are a couple different companies just a street over. The room was large enough though the bed […] was smallish (it was a single room though) and was reasonably well appointed, except I do not like half shower doors rather than a shower curtain. This bathroom had the half shower door so water getting all over the floor was an issue with each shower. This Best Western Hotel looks much better in pictures than it does in person. It is in a fantastic location; 5 min from the Old Square, 15 min from St. Charles Bridge and less than 5 min to 2 different metro stations. Believe it or not, it is also nice and quiet. The room was very clean, as was the shower and washroom. The only issue with the shower […] was a faulty handle, but no fuss was made about it. The housekeeping staff was phenomenal! They left us a "care package" every day at our door, which contained fresh new towels, and toilet paper - a first for us at any hotel, from 2 star to 5 star. Front desk service was okay. Without going into details, I needed to make a super-urgent local call and I was told no, I must use the room phone. Very unprofessional for such a serious issue. Other than that, the walk to the room was very long (over 2 minutes) and we thought the rooms were a bit outdated. I would highly recommend this hotel. Location was superb. Easy walking distance to all the major sites. The room itself was large for European standards, although the shower was small. Huge breakfast variety with great quality- you will start your day with a full belly. The staff was all very nice and accommodating. Air conditioning worked well.

Hotel staff very helpful and friendly with very good English. Very good location, only a short walk from main square, tram stops and main shopping centre.

This hotel was in a great loctation near the powder tower for walking to the old town and the new town. The breakfast was ample. The room was quiet if a bit small. The hotel is a bit drab, but a great buy for anyobne who doesn't feel the hotel is the object of the visit.

At Best a three star hotel, rooms were very dated.

hotel met all our expectations.room and bathroom were both clean.the included breakfast was very good with plenty of cnoice.but the best thing about the hotel is its location,within walking distance to all the sights in the old town and close to the subway for transport too and from the airport.

The hotel is located 100 meters from the powder tower in Old Town. The subway station is a 3 minute walk. It is within walking distance to all the sites in Old Town and a 10 minute walk to St Charles bridge. The Bar was nice but small, the breakfast was very nice and included. It was my first stay in Prague. The hotel locates near the train station, the tourist attractions, and almost everything. The breakfast is delicious. Free wi-fi. Recommended!

The hotel is in an excellent location. Prague is much more expensive than a few years ago, if you can pay by euro it is much cheaper, but very few places accept euro. The hotel is clean and offer a good varied breakfast.

From the reviews and pictures I expected this hotel to be a lot more modern. It was nice but I was very disappointed with my stay. The room was poky, very old style with an uncomfortable bed and not the best bathroom. You have to pay extra for use of the gym

Very good hotel for the price and is very well located for the tourist attractions without being in a noisy spot. 8 of us visited this hotel, the staff were very helpful and friendly and all of us were impressed. It's not a 5 star hotel but what you get for the money is good quality and a value price. The rooms were clean, comfortable and secure with […] good bathrooms. Breakfast was interesting at times and I would steer clear from the juice as it was heavily watered down. But it was breakfast and it had everything you needed to fill up for the morning. The hotel has free Wi-Fi and a computer is located on the 1st floor if you need to get online - again this is free to use. There is a nice little bar across the road which is significantly cheaper than the hotel. There is also a very very good restaurant to the right of the hotel as you leave the main doors on the opposite side of the road. The hotel will recommend it. The only downside we could really pick at was that smoking was aloud throughout the communal areas and as non smokers that's not too pleasant, but this is not the UK so it's to be expected really. The location could not have been better,with-in walking distance of many major tourist sites and a very safe location for two women travelling.The room was spacious and clean and quiet and no smoke odor detected at all which was a huge relief. flight from luton to prague with wizzair, nice & easy 1 hour and 35 minute flight. Private taxi picked us up at the arrival gate, felt very la-di-da about that. 25 minute drive from the airport to the hotel through what can only be described as "the real Prague". Arrived at the hotel to a friendly greeting by the hotel staff who spoke perfectly fine […] english. The hotel itself is huge and you will need to leave a trail of bread crumbs to find your way back to the front desk from your room. The room we stayed in 424, was an ideal size & very clean. The hotel was less than a 2 minute walk from the main square which is a great starting point. There is also a quaint little pub around the corner called "Kuala" which makes it sound more Aussie but its more of a British feel, the local beer is about a £1 a pint in there. Firstly, a great service available once you have booked allowing you to book a taxi from the airport with them. You just need to give thme a call or look on their wbsite after booking with Hotels.com We were given a very comfy room - not overally modern in style and carpet looked a little grubby but then we realised why when we came trudging back later […] on in our snowy shoes! Maybe not ideal for loved up types but good for going away with friends. The bathroom also had an excellent shower and the room cost also included a great buffet. On our last day we had to check out to go home before breakfast opened - they immediately offered a breakfast to take away at no extra cost. The only critisium was perhaps on the first night we went to the Hotel resturant for a meal,hardly anyone in there,no atmosphere at all and very expensive compared to outside the Hotel.But situated in […] the middle of everything we were able to find good quality food and drink at very reasonable prices.Would go to this Hotel and Prague again but next time in the summer when we can enjoy the Cafe' culture a little more and sit back and enjoy the lifestyle better.Went with friends and had a really good time. Bus 119 and metro into Prague a piece of cake and at about 90p, a bargain! Hotel 5 mins from station. Reception polite, friendly and efficient. No issues with check-in, room available early. Hotel smart and V. close to Powder Tower and Old Town. Room clean, up to date and with all reasonable facilities: safe, mini-bar, kettle and tea/coffee, etc. Visit […] for Xmas Market. 10 minutes away on foot. Crisp weather but room was warm (additional electric rad helped). Breakfast was ample and served until 10.30 (handy!), busy due to time of year but efficient staff continually replenished / cleared away. Bar/ coffee bar near reception. restaurant downstairs (didn't use). Check out a breeze, no dodgy charges. Off to metro 90p more to airport and home. I spent three days at the Best Western Meteor Plaza during Thanksgiving. It was a great stay. The hotel is very easy to find (less than a ten minute walk from the Metro station), and about two minutes to the Powder Tower - and no more than about a leisurely fifteen minute walk to the Old Town Square. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Nice breakfast […] buffet. The wifi in the room was free and worked pretty flawlessly. The room itself needed a bit of an upgrade, especially the carpet, but everything was very clean. I'd definitely stay there again. Läs mer
