Hotel was dated but clean. They were nice enough to allow us an early check in, especially since my wife had just come from eye surgery and waiting around for check in time would have been tough. We found this 4* hotel on the unamed 40% off offer! The room was the height of comfort wth the only drawback for us being air conditioning but no open windows Its location looks a bit iffy as it is on an uninteresting main road BUT there are some really good green walks nearby along the river and though woods and if you are a very keen walker you can […] actually walk into Ottawa along a green cycle route. The buses into the city are frequent and cost $C3.50 single leaving from outside the handy shopping mall opposite and very obiously stopping just along from the Parliament Building . If full price this hotel would probably be beyond the reach of the budget traveller but with offers it's a good place to be and if there is a need for a business stay this is it. One note of caution - Breakfast is taken in an independently owned reastaurant (located in the hotel building) where the service and the food leave much to be desired! Läs mer

The hotel was ok, nothing out of the ordinary. The room was clean bur noisy (it was on the first floor). The service at the front desk was acceptable although quite lengthy. This hotel was fine - we chose it because it had an outdoor pool. Although the pool was older and the chairs were not the bet (most were broken), it was nice and quiet, adn the water was wonderful. they had a lifeguard as well. We got what we wanted from it. Surprisingly, the restaurant is quite good. We had a really nice dinner there with nice wine, […] and the continental breakfast was great for my husband - he declared it to have the best croissants he has ever eaten. i had the buffet instead, with my eggs cooked to order (the scrambled "eggs" on the buffet were way overcooked both mornings). The rest of the buffet food was good, and they took $4 off since I opted out of the complimentary continental. Everyone was very nice and accommodating at the hotel, which made up for it being a pretty dated property. The staff were friendly and helpful with checking us in. The room was clean. The hotel isn't too far of a drive from downtown Ottawa. The hotel restaurant staff were very friendly and suggested good sights to check out around town. The complimentary breakfast was pretty sizable.

Les chambres sont propres, confortables et l'hôtel est bien situé. Je m'attendais à une piscine intérieure, mais elle est seulement extérieure et non accessible avant le mois de juin. De plus, j'avais pris une chambre double affaires et j'ai été dans l'incapacité d'utiliser internet pendant mon séjour. Le service du personnel de l'accueil est inadéquat […] (la réceptionniste m'a fait sortir pour aller chercher mon porte-feuille et donner le dépôt pour seulement me dire par la suite que la chambre ne sera pas prête avant une heure). Un peu déçu en général. je m'attendais à une chambre beaucoup plus propre contenu de ce qui était annoncé sur leur site internet. L'organisation du service restauration était médiocre le samedi. Il manquant de personnel pour répondre à la demain en tenant compte que c'était une long fin de semaine de congé. Pour le prix de la chambre, j'ai été déçue. Le déjeuner qui était inclus était très décevant et le tapis rétro et sale ainsi que la verrière ou nous avons déjeuner étaient très poussiéreuse et remplie de toiles d'araignée sur les plantes et lampes suspendues! Très visible par un beau matin ensoleillé!!
