Allting var bra. Läge, personal, rummet osv. Jag hade blivit av med min necessär och fick hjälp av dem som jobbade i receptionen. Kan varmt rekommendera hotellet!

Trevligt hotell med närhet till Londons centrum. Området var ganska lugnt. Tunnelbana låg en cigarett bort och busshållplatsen utanför dörren. Vissa sevärdheter, trevliga restauranger och pubar runt hörnet. Trevligt med kaffe/te på rummet. Bekväm säng, 2 fåtöljer och ett bord, skrivbord med Tv som även fungerar som dator. Stort plus är badkaret och […] duschen! Restaurangen är trevligt med priser som ligger på standardnivå. Personalen var mycket trevlig och hjälpsamma. Inte påfrestande och fiskar inte efter dricks. I receptionen finns en dator som är fri att använda för hotellets gäster. Vi valde att inte ha med dator för att koppla från en helg men var illa tvungna att få tag på ett telefonnummer uppskattade möjligheten att inte behöva betala för dessa 5 minuter. Trivsamt hotell.Fina rum samt väldigt sköna sängar. Dock mailade vi innan ankomst för att be om champagne på rummet. Vi fick varken svar eller champagne vilket är lustigt.

Very well located hotel in the heart of Southwark - and ideal base for visiting the rich heritage on the banks of the Thames with the Tate Modern only a few minutes walk away. Friendly, welcoming & helpful staff. Good value when compared to similar hotels/locations.

Clean, modern hotel. Small-ish rooms but that's no problem when you're out in the city all day and most of the night. Loads of great places close by, with Tate Modern, Globe Theatre, Borough Market and the new development of the Blue Fin building. Great restaurants on your doorstep, as well as all the delights on offer at Borough Market. Good value […] option, close to some good places and only 2 tube stops from Westminster, 3 from Piccadilly and 4 from the West End. Läs mer

I had exceptionally good service from the front desk who retrieved an important document from an email attachment, photocopied and collated it for me and had it ready for my arrival. This absolutely saved the day - the sort of service I'd given up expecting from big chain hotels. Thank you.

Our room was very small but adequate for the time we spent in it. Was set up for one occupant (double bed but only one towel, glass cup etc) Quickly rectified by staff. Very handily situated to Tate Modern, Borough Market and all South bank. Excellent eating facillities just across the road. Would stay here again for ease of access to buses,trains & […] attractions. The Mercure is located just behind Tate Modern and is in an excellent location for exploring the south bank and beyond. The Thames walkway is only 5 minutes away and from here you explore the Festival Hall and the London Eye to the west and the Globe, Tower Bridge and Borough Market to the east. The RV1 bus stops outside the hotel with a frequent service to The Tower, Waterloo and Covent garden. Our room had a king size bed, was quiet (triple glazed) but a little small. Great staff and facilities - Hotel in excellent condition. Quiet rooms and very relaxing. Gym was small but fine for an early morning workout The room service menu was superb and really well cooked. Checked in to find out hotels.com details were not on the hotel system. However, even though I booked through reservations in person for Hotels.com, they could not understand the meaning of lead person as being me...not the card holder which was slightly annoying. At least got checked in after 15 minutes trying to figure out why my name was on the hotel […] system. Really nice hotel & lovely quiet rooms. Just 5 minutes walk to London Bridge tube station. Negative: Mini bare in room was nice to look inside. Mould or worse was found in compartment of mini bar. Unwashed/cleaned for many months probably. Only downside this was. Läs mer

The hotel itself was fine but had small rooms.. I left my hairdryer in the room and was there ANY chance of getting it back ??? Hell no... I respect places where they would have found and it and respected customers enough to send the hairdryer back to be. Like I said no honesty.

Stayed here for a weekend with my girlfriend just before Christmas. The hotel is very clean and comfortable and the staff are polite and helpful. There was a small mistake when we checked in and were sent up to a room that was already occupied but the manager apologised immediately and upgraded us to a bigger room (unoccupied this time :P ) The beds […] are nice and firm and there's a thermostat in the room to get it to whatever temp you prefer. We were in a rear-facing room and found it perfectly quiet, although I'd imagine the front-facing are fine too. Location is central enough, about 15min walk from London Bridge tube station and a taxi to Covent Garden area was just under a tenner. There's a cafe next door called "The Table" that does a fantastic brunch. Also be sure to check out the Borough Market 5mins walk away. Läs mer

We decided to use this Hotel as a cheaper alternative to our usual Hotel. The reviews were good so we gave it a try. We found the Hotel to be pretty much as desciribed, rooms clean and staff helpful. However the location is not great, whilst it is close enough to the Tate and the Globe it is not close to any underground station. Our room was very small […] and the aircon was ineffective. The bar was extremely quiet, possibly due to the location or possibly the quite high bar prices. All in all I would say the Mercure was ok but there are better options for the price. Perfect hotel for a one night stay whilst out on a night at Vinopolis. Location is fine for most of the London attractions and take a walk to Borough Market.

A decent business-hotel type place to stay, which is easily reached from London Bridge and Embankment. Hotel is a cut-above for a 3*, well maintained and staff very professional and attentive. We enjoyed our stay at Mercure very much, we found the reception staff charming and helpful and room service staff delightful. The fact that Mercure is so near the river and all the attractions on offer there plus no distance from the West End makes it a good base to stay in London

From Denmark one weekend in London The staff very kind, tried not their morning meal, we thought the price of 16 pounds is just over the limit for us. I spent one night in this hotel for a business trip. The hotel was an easy walk from Southwark underground and taxis run past the hotel all the time. The hotel room was a good size for London and the bed was comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful. We were really pleased with our recent stay at the Mercure hotel in London. It was well situated close to the Tate Gallery and great value for money. It was very comfortable and the staff were very helpful and friendly.

A clean comfortable hotel with friendly, helpful staff. Only 5 minutes walk to the Thames, Tate Modern and a lovely walk by the river to Tower Bridge. There is a bus stop almost outside the hotel with frequent buses, and there are taxis passing by to flag down. I would recommend doing this because we booked a taxi through the hotel and because it was […] 10 minutes late, we had to flag one down in the street. Also, we had ordered a bottle of wine for the room for my husband's birthday but it didn't arrive. After mentioning it on our way out for the evening, a complimentary bottle of wine was there when we got back by way of an apology. We were only there one night so we didn't eat in the restaurant so cannot comment on that, but the breakfast was good, plenty of choice. Wouldn't hesitate in recommending this hotel and its location. Although the rooms were small we found this hotel in a great location and suited our needs. The breakfast offered as part of our booking was probably one of the best breakfast buffets we have ever had.

Very pleasant stay for long weekend. Reception staff particularly friendly and helpful. Jolly good full english breakfast! Certainly will stay again when in London. Very handy for South Bank, Tate Modern etc.

Very good for the price i paid. The reception and bar area were lovely and have recently been updated, the room was lagging behind this standard somewhat. The staff were really friendly and helpful. Excellent location.

Small rooms and watch out for some rude receptionists.

The hotel was decent but for the price I might as well have stayed in a luxury hotel because while the hotel was nice it was not great. The staff was mostly helpful but the not nice. I would not recommend this hotel to any of my friends or family, especially since it was very costly.

I couldn't believe the price was so low on hotels.com, and thought the hotel would be in poor repair, but the place was great. Very clean, modern and a friendly staff. I would definitely stay again without hesitation. Great location, great all around.

OK hotel, not a convenient location unless you need to be in Bankside. Several good restaurants within walking distance. Closest tube, Blackfriars is out until 2011. Breakfast was fair but you can order eggs cooked instead of the buffet. Staff was helpful.

Chambre superieure spacieuse avec confort, receptionniste tres bien petit dejeuner propre et complet. Hotel a proximité a pied ou en transport en commun a proximité.

Hotel très bien tenu, digne d'un 4 étoiles, bien situé à 5 minutes à pied de southwark station.

Das Hotel ist sehr zentral gelegen, Tower bridge etc zu fuss in 20 Minuten erreichbar, 2 Ubahnstationen zu fuss 5 bis 10 Minuten. Gutes Frühstücksbuffet und freundlicher Service

Hotellet har rigtig fine og store værelser og venligt personale. Det ligger kort fra undergrund. Det ligger dog i et ikke særligt hyggeligt kontor område uden restauranter og barer.

Helt greit hotell. Var et lengre stykke fra undergrunnen enn hva jeg forventet, men det gikk fint å gå. Jeg ville ikke gått alene på en lørdags natt der. Hotellet var litt trangt og det var veldig varmt på rommet. Men personalet var hyggelige og vi fikk låne en vifte da vi spurte etter dette. Das Hotel liegt gleich hinter der Tate Modern; nächste Tube Station ist Southwark (Jubilee Line). Je nachdem, was man in London vorhat, ist die Lage also ziemlich gut, wenn auch vielleicht nicht ganz perfekt. Die nähere Umgebung des Hotels ist von Büros und der entsprechenden Infrastruktur geprägt. Das Hotel selbst ist ruhig und die Zimmer sind in gutem […] Zustand. Av storbyhoteller jeg har vært på må Mercure Bankside være et av de bedre. Vi bestilte rom uten å vite noe om området eller hotellet. De ansatte er hyggelige og hjelpsomme, rommene er fine og standarden er god. Har ikke noe å utsette på sted eller personell. Hotellet ligger i en litt mer stille del av byen, hvilket også var deilig. Det er mange gode […] restauranter i området, så uansett hvilken retning du går i finner du god mat. Det tar ca 7 minutter å gå fra Southwark stasjon til hotellet. Så jeg kan trygt anbefale dette som et perfekt hotell å bruke neste gang du skal til London. Läs mer

Hyvä hotelli, metrolle n. 1km. Aamupala todella hyvä... Ainoa miinus hotellissa oli se, että siellä oli vain yksi hissi, joka oli todella hidas ja ruuhkainen.

Das Hotel zeichnet sich in erster Linie durch eine ausgezeichnete Lage aus. Von dort kann mann alles sehenswertes schnell erreichen und der Borroughs Market ist gleich um die Ecke - für Gourmets! hotel tres agreable, modern et propre. Le personnel est serviable et disponible pour tout renseignements concernant les visites dans la ville. Le petit déjeuner est "royal".... . Le seul bemol est cette fichue douche fixée au mur donc bonnet de douche obligatoire, berk!
