I was a bit concerned that we should have picked a more expensive hotel, as lesser brands are often foreign owned franchisee's who are not concerned with cleanliness. (you know who I mean). The picture listed is not at all what the room looked like. The carpets in the hallways were dirty and stained as well as the room carpet. Dirt gathered in corners of the bathroom and the towel rack didn't appear to have been wiped down in months. I stayed here while attending a conference in downtown Chattanooga. The hotel is at least 15 minutes north of downtown, but it's much more affordable than downtown hotels. It is also less than a mile from restaurants like Cracker Barrel, Shoney's, O'Charley's, and Wendy's; and just across the freeway is Hamilton Place Mall. The staff was friendly and […] helpful. The room was small, but about what I expected (it is called Microtel, after all). The facitilies showed some signs of age, but everything in my room was functional and clean. Hotel was clean, friendly staff, and close to local attractions, about 10 min. Conveniently located off I-75 less than a mile from the mall.

Walls are thin and the next-door snoring was loud. Some of the bathroom appliances are old, but everything was clean. It's fine if you are a sound sleeper who only needs a bed and shower.

This hotel looks ok from the outside. The room was very small but that was expected. The bed was too hard. The ceiling was leaking onto the toilet. The sink the toilet and the shower looked like someone tried to carve their name into them. It was terrible.

Loved location was only 15min from work site. Everything was great. Breakfast was slim, nothing but coffee to drink, no juice. Small, but enough for me and my guest. Will definitely stay here again...

We visited Chattanooga for a Jr. ROTC competition. This was our first stay at a Microcell. It was good they had.some smoking.rooms. The rooms seemed small but there were 2 queen size beds. Staff were very nice. Room had fridge. and microwave. Price.was.excellent.

I can't remember a stay anywhere with less to complain about. The facility and staff were faultless. It was quiet and the price was very reasonable. The front desk personnel are very nice. The rooms were quite small but hey you get what you pay for .Overall the stay was ok for the price . I have seen a lot worse hotels . I would stay again.

The room was clean and the staff friendly. But in this case, I found I got what I paid for. The cost for the night was really good but the room was small and the walls were paper thin. I heard our neighbors play music most of the night. I would consider coming here again but I would check other options thouroughly first.

This hotel is conveniently located by many area sights which is what we wanted. The hotel is a little tricky to find as it's behind another hotel and off the main road. Its sign is very little. I read the reviews before staying here but noticed the negatives were mostly nit-picky little things. I agree there were stains in the hall carpets-- but I just walked down the hall. The bathroom door had a few paint chips off the door jam, and the wall paper in bathroom was starting to peel. All very minor and I wouldn't have noticed if I wasn't looking […] for them. I stayed in a double and there was plenty of room for us and the bed was comfortable, but they are smaller than average hotel rooms. Flat screen TV. Very clean. The breakfast was good and included waffle maker. I was flying out so it was very convenient to the airport. I will definitely stay here again when I have to fly out early from Chatanooga Läs mer

Hotel was nice. I understand the name Microtel as room was VERY small, however it was fine for what I needed and the rate was good. Room was clean, however noticed some wear and tear in the bathroom

While the outside was inviting, the inside was not. We stayed in the no smoking section but alas it smelled like smoking pretty badly. For 69 it was economical with that said you get what you pay for.

Outside and lobby of the hotel are quite nice which makes seeing the actual room quite a let down. The wallcovering was peeling off the walls. The air/heat unit was very noisy. When they say Micro they mean it! Smallest hotel room I've ever been in. But what really made me Uncomfortable and upset was not just that the room reeked of cigarette smoke but The Deadbolt on the room door was broken! Driving from Texas to Virginia. Will definitely not stay here again. very small room and very dated. Rusted towel rack, stained sink and tub, stains throughout the hotel carpeting.
