"Novotel Szeged"
The location of the hotel is perfect it is almost in the city center.. The room was clean and nice and the view from it was amazing... In other words a really nice hotel on a super price which i will definitely recommend to all my friends.
"Great transit hotel"
What can I say, when in need for a transit hotel, I always pick a Novotel (if available). They never fail me, and Novotel Szeged makes no exception; it's a no-nonsense hotel, very clean, very well equipped, function-oriented, and I love their bathroom audio system. i don´t know where this hotel got its 4 stars from ! 3 stars would be more correct ! not an exciting place to stay but in szeged there are not many alternatives !
"Comfortable & Affordable, great location on Tisza"
Spacious, clean, comfortable rooms with nice attention to details. Rooms are well maintained and bathrooms have been updated nicely; room interior could use a little more pizzazz but are spacious and comfortable. Rated a 3 on "Maintenance and Condition" due to exterior of hotel very sooty and in need of a serious power washing. Don't let the exterior […] curb appeal scare you off when you pull up, as the interior spaces including rooms, hallways, lobby, restaurant/bar are all modern and tastefully decorated. The hotel's location on the Tisza riverbank makes for nice evening walks along the rakpart or into the central downtown core. Breakfast buffet offers nice selection of options with a lovely view of the river. Did not try the hotel's restaurant, but the staff did recommend a fantastic hala'szcsa'rda restaurant for dinner. If you want authentic and fantastic Hungarian food, try this place! Walk along the river bank toward the main city bridge, look for Roosevelt Square just under the bridge's support pillars. Outdoor seating area has very nice view of river, terrific ambience, authentic Hungarian folk music (not the obnoxious, violin-in-your face-until-you-tip-him-to-make-him-go-away kind of music that tourists endure in Budapest), excellent service, and food so good it practically guarantees a food coma of satisfaction. Would recommend this hotel for business travelers or budget conscious leisure travelers, great location and great value for the money. Stayed there for work. Nothing spectacular but good service, clean rooms & close to work so does the job.
"Novotel Szeged - Convenient for town centre"
A very nice hotel. Quiet, efficient, clean, easy walking distance to town centre. We really enjoyed our stay. Particularly enjoyed a good selection of options at breakfast in a good environment. I would happily recommend this to anyone.

"Simple, convenient and fine for a short stay"
Novotel Szeged does not pretend to be a luxury hotel and it is not but it is a good hotel for the price and location. The level of service and comfort is very good. The staff are polite and helpful, speak good English and are professional. The breakfast is elaborate and quite frankly exceed my expectation. Rooms are pretty standard but are comfortable. […] Bathrooms are a touch dated though. It is a business hotel not a luxury leisure hotel like the ones found in Budapest and for that purpose it is a good hotel. All in all Novotel Szeged does the job for a very reasonable price. Book in advance though as their online prices are way better than their walk in prices (stating the obvious I guess). Läs mer

Clean and functional hotel in a good location. Large rooms with big windows and balconies with good views of the river and city.

is pretty decent for a business trip. clean rooms, an alright breakfast spread, courteous staff (though they forgot to give me a wake-up call). And Szeged is small enough to walk to wherever u need to get to.

God beliggenhed, tæt på centrum og fin udsigt fra balkon. Aircondition fungerer godt, men lidt støjende. God service og flink personale.
