Jag bodde här i 3 nätter i början av februari 2013. Det började med ett varmt mottagande redan utanför hotellet där väskorna i snabb fart försvann upp till rummet. Därefter följde en privat rundtur genom hotellet, för att bekanta sig det och för att få veta vad som fanns för ditt välmående. Rummet var oklanderligt med den utsikt över Eiffeltornet jag alltid velat ha! Hela hotellet har en atmosfär av lugn och skönhet där man känner sig "hemma". Personalen är gränslös i sin förmåga och vilja att tillmötesgå minsta önskan. Tala om serviceminded UTAN falska leeden! Där har vi verkligen de som ger service ett ansikte när service är som bäst! Det var nästan för bra för att vara sant! Visst, det kostar en slant att bo där men OM du en gång i livet ska kosta på dig ett lyxhotell i Paris - välj detta!! Du kommer inte att ångra dig! Det är HELT UNDERBART! Kontakta gärna hotellet innan du åker dit om du har speciella önskemål som exvis om utsikt mot Eiffeltornet. Alla talar mycket god engelska och kommer att göra sitt bästa för just DIG! Jag kommer att återvända!

Nära till tunnelbana som tog dig i princip över hela Paris. Promand avstånd från Notre Dame, ca 20 min nära till bra bargata längs San Sebastepol. Vi är mycket nöjda med vårt besök :)

For the past five years my husband and I have been going to Paris to celebrate my birthday. We usually stay at another hotel nearby but this time we decided to save on our stay. While the location is still great the training of the staff is not what is expected of a five star hotel. Their English was poor and could not communicate in any other language […] but French, which makes it very difficult when asking for directions and help. The room was either to hot or too cold, very dark and the shower leaked onto the bathroom floor, making it very uncomfortable to get ready. The only good thing I have to say about the hotel, is that they managed to get us a reservation into one of Paris top restaurantes with three day notice. We do not plan to stay here again. Hotel staff were very disorganised, especially in the Breakfast/Dining room. Service was very slow and food/drinks served at lukewarm temperature. At breakfast, 3 hours prior to departure, due to bad weather we were informed that a car would be arranged early to ensure transport to the local station. Unfortunately, upon departure, with no prior warning, […] we were informed that this was no longer possible and that we would have to take the local subway! We were a party of 2 women, a disabled gentleman and a 10 month old baby with two large suitcase!! Fortunately for us we managed to hail our own taxi a few hundred yards from the hotel door, a task that was apparently beyond the doorman in the 3 hours leading up to our departure. "Vendome staff need a customer service course"
I think overall the staff need a refresher course on customer service & general courtesy. A promise to get back to us on a breakfast enquiry did not happen & the booking out of the restaurant for breakfast on our last morning was only discovered when I phoned the concierge the evening before, which meant I could have missed the room service requirement […] for that morning. Arrived in the empty restaurant one evening at about 7pm & asked to see the menus & after 15 minutes we decided to eat there but were told that the restaurant was fully booked. I asked the young fellow why he didn't tell us that when we asked to see the menus & he arrogantly replied, "you only asked to see the menus". This was typical of the hotel staff, which I viewed as less than helpful & at worst, arrogant. Also, the $1,000 plus hold on my Mastercard was not lifted several days later which caused a reject on my credit card purchase in Singapore - even though the accommodation was pre-paid several months in advance. Air con was hot even though it was the beginning of winter. I would not stay at this hotel again as the service is poor & I seem too much of an inconvenience for the staff. Wow this hotel was just lovely. Tastefully decorated. We stayed in room 502. It had a super comfy bed. Clad in crisp, clean white sheets with a lofty down comforter. The walls were covered in cloth instead of wall paper. The furniture in our room was custom built. The bathroom floors & walls were all marble. The tub was large. The camode and bidet were […] behind their own glass door. housekeeping kept it all super clean. The room was quiet and restful too. Finally the staff was awesome. They spoke multiple languages. They were pleasant and helpful. I bought a painting at the flea market and they packaged it up or me so it would not get damaged in my suitcase. They were there to hail cabs, recommend restaurants, make reservations or suggest activities. They were very respectful. This hotel is situated in the heart of the city. We easily walked to the Louvre & other museums. There are tons of great restaurants around. We loved Hotel de Vendome. It made our week in Paris very special. service was great , staff were friendly and very prompt.room were cleaned every day and checked 3 times which was great, we purely stayed here for the location , but its a very small hotel so its not for everyone. and the room we stayed was small, but it was nice and clean. the only problem was there was not many options in the room service menu and […] it was extremely overpriced, just a chicken sandwich was 29 euro,. a similar sandwich outside was around 5 euros,. and we had breakfast in the restaurant it came up to 50 euro,. would be great if they reduced the price of the food, it will encourage people to eat more in the hotel. but i have to say the quality of the food was good, but i still cannot justify paying 29 euro for a sandwich. we will stay there again most probaly in a suite . "Great location"
Location is great. Well maintained and clean. The room is comfortable except that it is a bit small - I am traveling single and maybe that is why the room is smaller. The hotel is small so the reception staff is usually free to answer any questions and cater to my needs. There are not many people coming and going so I feel quite safe there as well. […] I am an SLH member and so got free breakfast and later check out, which is good. The concierge arranged a taxi for me and negotiated a maximum rate which was great. I enjoyed the service there. I had such a pleasant stay. A staff was wonderfully helpful prior to my arrival and the friendly hospitality made my stay confortable. I shall definitely return to this hotel for my next visit in Paris. This was our second stay at Hotel de Vendome and it topped the excellent experience that we enjoyed in November 2010. We were upgraded to a corner deluxe suite for an anniversary trip and welcomed with red rose petals in the room. Every detail of the hotel is first class with a very warm and friendly staff. "Hotel Vendome Paris a little gem"
Just had a wonderful weekend in Paris stayed at the hotel vendome and would say room fantastic location great and staff superb was our 25th anniversary and requested 25 red roses to be in room on arrival and the most beautiful red roses you could imagine were there on arrival . Did not have breakfast at the hotel ate breakfast at a lovely cafe opposite […] which served wonderful breakfasts and also ate out on both evenings so cannot comment on hotel restaurant .
