This was the first time I stayed at this hotel in D-dorf. Overall a very nice hotel but the rooms will need refurbishing pretty soon, especially the bathroom. But the room was nice, clean and very comfortable. Breakfast was good. Parking in the hotel garage very convenient.

Design hotell med utsökt mat!! Kan varmt rekommenderas. Enda - var att det inte finns något gratis trådlöst nätverk. Inget som heller kunde regleras via hotellfakturan utan man var tvungen att använda ett hotspot nätverk.

Hotellet är helt OK, läget är bra nära centralen och DOMEN. Baren och frukosten är oförskämt dyra, det tar man bättre i omgivningen där det finns massor att välja mellan. Fint och rent hotell med trevlig och serviceminded personal! mitt minus ger jag till frukostpriset som var ohyggligt högt, somliga gäster valde att äta sin frukost utanför hotellet. "Kan rekommenderas!"
Mycket nöjd totalt sett. Mycket centralt i närheten av Kölnerdomen. Mycket tysta rum och bra med plats. Tycker dock att de kunde upplyst om kostnaden för garage när vi frågade om var vi kunde parkerat, och talat om alternativet att det gick att stå utanför på gatan gratis nattetid. De lyckades inte fixa en rinnande toalett trots ett par påpekanden så […] det fick vi göra själva. Simbassängen var "abonnerad" av pensionärer från rehab så det var lite svårt att kunna simma där. Inga skåp fanns tillgängliga. Frukostbuffén var mycket bra - dock till ett oskäligt högt pris. Vi gick istället till Extra-Blatt och åt motsvarande frukostbuffé för 1/3 av priset. "Close to central station"
We always stays at Lindner when are at the trade fair in Cologne. It's a 5 minute walk to the main station and 5 minute walk to the Dom and city centre. I'm missing an iron and ironboard in the room, when you're stressed in the morning you can't wait for housekeeping to bring it. Area is quiet and safe. Mycket prisvärt hotell med riktigt väl inredda rum. Väldigt fräscht, framförallt badrummet överträffade det mesta. Bra läge när Köln Domen. Bodde i en exekutiv svit på Mövenpick hotell i Amsterdam dagarna senare för dubbla priset men denna vistelse drog längsta strået. "Klass men dyrt"
Bra pris för rum men väldigt surt att allting kostar extra. 200 kr natten för parkering, 100 kr dagen per internetuppkoppling (som dessutom var svajjig). I övrigt var det grymt. Riktigt fina rum och mycket trevlig och hjälpsam personal. Perfekt läge bara ett par minuters promenix från centralstationen och domen. Mysiga kvarter. "Alt Stadt Colonge, DE"
Hotel was minutes walk from the train station and Cathedral. Rooms were quiet and very modern. Everything was sparklng new. I would return without hesitation. Absolutely no problems with the reservation. The price of the breakfast buffet was not a good value, so we went to one of the numerous bakeries that are close by for coffee and pasteries. "bring the longjohns!"
Unfortunate that such an attractive property made for such an uncomfortable stay. The thermastat is set not to go above 23 C which is 73 F. After a day of cold sight seeing in Northern Europe in winter, I longed to return to my hotel and not have to dress up in sweats, flannels, and long underwear to be comfortable. I talked to the front desk, but this […] is of course how the computer themostat is set. Beautiful, large appointed rooms. However, many things are extra: the gym, breakfast of course, and wi-fi. I worked around the later by using the hotel lobby computer which was free of charge and mostly available for short periods. I had lovely breakfasts for 10 Euro instead at a bakery around the corner. "Near the railway station and the cathedral"
We could not fault this hotel. The location was perfect as it is close to the main shopping streets, Christmas markets and the cathedral. Only one night but very comfortable room, all the amenities -- except would have liked to have easy access to coffee. Main train station is just 4 blocks away -- and the Dom is even closer. Hotel was incredibly convenient, a couple of minutes walk from the Dom and the Main train station. It was also very clean, great beds/bedding and room size. The hotel had a modern feel and the staff were incredibly helpful. We had a couple of minor issues with our safe battery being out (they switched our room) and the TV's on the 2nd floor stopped […] working (fixed by the next morning, and the issue seemed like a fluke event). Overall we were incredibly satisfed with our stay here. The location is as good as it gets and it was incredibly comfortable. One thing to note...breakfast here is an EXPENSIVE add on, so avoid. "Wonderful hotel."
We had no complaints at all about this hotel. I had made a mistake with my online reservation and booked a double room when I actually needed a triple...they brought in an extra bed and didn't even charge us! (So, our space was a bit cramped, but that was MY fault!) The front desk staff is excellent with hotel-related requests as well as information […] about the town. Parking is convenient - there is a garage underneath the hotel - and the rates for parking were average. The location is a quick 300 meter walk to the main part of town. The food in the hotel is pricey...we didn't eat there at all, so I can't comment on quality, but I have no doubt that it is good! We chose the cheaper, more authentic fare a couple of blocks away instead. All in all, I would say that this is probably the nicest hotel I have stayed in while traveling abroad; and coupled with the fact that it is in a very fun city - I definitely recommed it! Lindner hotel was perfect with one exception; internet access was worse than anywhere I have ever experienced. I paid for one week at 39 euros and WiFi on Apple devices failed most of the time. My husband and I chose the Lindner Hotel mainly because the price was right, but it turned out to be an awesome experience. The restaurant in the hotel has excellent food, it is right down by the cathedral and within easy walking distance of many museums and points of interest. "Good, but staff need improvement."
I stayed here for two nights. The location to the central train station was good, less than 2 blocks walk away. I didn't have any problems walking there in the very early morning. The room was clean and comfortable, with english TV channels and movies available. The staff were OK, but not the most helpful. On my first day I asked where the nearest […] doctor was. The girl didn't seem to happy to help me, and more gave the impression I was bothering her; yet the hotel brochures say that if you need a doctor to ask the reception and they would be 'happy' to help. In addition to that, when I asked one of the morning staff where the nearest ATM was her reply was a shrug of the shoulders and "maybe the train station". However, on my way there I noticed there was not only one, but two, at the end of the street. She also told me that the train to the airport would take 40 minutes; it only took 15 minutes! I recommend the staff make themselves more aware of the area and those questions that might be more commonly asked by guests. I had a couple of meals at the restaurant at this hotel. The food was lovely, and worth the money. With regards to the drinks though, there needs to be more consistency. On the first night I was served a cocktail in a tall glass. On the second night I ordered the same drink, but it was served in a glass half its size. When I wanted it topped up with the rest of the mixer (ginger ale) they charged me extra for it! "Close to all must see sights"
on arrival we were given room 219. There was a distinct unpleasant smell - damp problem, perhaps? We complained and were offered choice of room 119 (directly below 219) or 514. When we entered 119 the odour was many times worse than in the room above. We settled in 514 and everything was fine thereafter.
