Hotell AC Hotel Avenida de América by Marriott - Madrid

Mycket bra hotell. Dom i receptionen var dock inga proffs på engelska, men funkade ju. Ligger ca 5 min från tunnelbanestationen Av. de America. Ligger en taxi-line preicis utanför hotellet.

Stylish and modern hotel close to the metro (Cartagena). Friendly and helpful staff. I had a room facing the street and I was surprised about the noise level - both from the street and from the hall. Nothing that earplugs couldn't take care of, but still...

I would definately go to this hotel again. Lots of bus's and metro trains and very simple to get around.

I have stayed here other times and really enjoy the good rates i have always gotten. The AC chain is very reliable, has modern clean rooms, free mini bar, and this one has a bus stop nearby and also a metro stop. It is on the same line as the Teatro de Canals theater, which we often attend while in town. However, it is not downtown in the realm of […] the museums although the convenient bus leaves you at Cibeles plaza in just a very few minutes. They are now part of Marriott but were unable to accept my card for points yet as they will not be doing that until later on this next month. Our room had a third bed set up, which made us think we might have been given the wrong room. But it is good to know that three people can sleep comfortably here. When breakfast has been included it has been excellent. But otherwise, there are several simple cafés nearby. The bullring and its museum are also nearby as is the Lazaro Galdiano Museum in the famed Salamanca district. La Fundación March is also a couple streets away. The Intercambiador Av. América bus depot is just two short blocks away, giving those arriving at the airport a simple, quick 1E ride in from the airport to this area. You can also go to many northern cities from this depot, such as famous Pamplona. Not the best first timers' touring location, but if the price is right, or you like shopping, the Salamanca district is just across the road along with the US Embassy, calle Serrano and dozens of interesting restaurants. My wife and I stayed here for 2 nights at the end of a European trip. I wanted to stay close to the town center, but didn't want the price... and this was the PERFECT compromise, if I can call it a compromise at all! Just down the street from the express bus line to the airport (Line 200 - Airport to Av. de Americas - about 10 minutes each way) and […] less than 2 blocks to the Cartegena stop on the red line - your access to downtown. No more than 10 minutes total on the metro to Sol and the heart of Madrid. The rooms were modern, clean and well kept. One of the best features was their *COMPLEMENTARY* fridge. While not too much, they did restock it each day. A selection of Coke products, Fantas, and waters was nice to come back to after an evening out. The front desk staff were also exceptional, and no problems with English speaking tourists like myself. Kudos to the staff for their great recommendations on dinner options! Overall, highly recommended. If you don't HAVE to be downtown, and don't mind riding a few minutes to get a better price... you won't be sorry you chose here! Hotel AC Avenida de America is a Hotel with nice service and great manner, they won't bother you much like the traditional one, but they do give you a hand when you need one. Even you are back at 2am or later, smile will be the first thing you get when the doors open. About the location, AV Avenida de America only take you 5 to 6 metro stations to Sol […] Opera or Gran Via, which are the shopping center and must check place for tourist, to Bernabeu Stadium (Real Madrid CF) only take you 3 stations, and also, for all ladies, I could say, 30 min on foot, you will arrive the street that make you mad, all brands are there, LV, Gucci, Chanel, Dior, Cartier, you could reach all these stores in short time. The only complaint is they do not provide even a pair of paper slipper, and no wifi in room, but only in lobby. beside that, it is totally great. Läs mer

We were visiting friends who live in Madrid and lived nearby so it was perfect for us. It is a bit out of the way for the main Madrid sights, but the metro is nearby. Very nice place, warm and clean. The trendy interior is nice to look at and comfortable enough, but not cozy. The real short coming of this kind aesthetic becomes apparent in the bathroom. […] A frosted glass, swing door does not make a good choice for visual or auditory privacy. Also, I can not fathom the idea behind having a shower that is not fully enclosed - despite our efforts water gets every where. I think also that a glass top counter is a poor choice too - it was cleaned very well each day but it looks messy as soon as it is used especially when you are given a spherical bar of soap to use with no soap tray. Nice, clean, decent-sized rooms. Lovely, fresh buffet breakfast replenished every few minutes. Very friendly staff. Plenty of little cafes & bars in the area. Only bad thing is that its little bit outside city centre, but easily accessible by nearby metro.

This hotel is great - clean, new, well kept, good staff, good breakfast buffet, free mini bar. . . BUT I booked it specifically to use the fitness room while on my business trip until I arrived and learned that the fitness room is only open from 8am-10pm, which basically eliminated being able to exercise before work. . . not helpful.

This is one of the better places to stay in Madrid. It is in an actual neighborhood, with only a couple hotels nearby. plenty of smaller restaurants to eat at, 3 grocery stores, and many atms. Located near the Cartagena station, it is one stop from the large Avenidas de Americas station. We did not eat at the restaurant, it seemed expensive. also, there […] are no ice machines in the hotel, you need to ask the front desk for an ice bucket. I would stay there again for sure. Läs mer

Todo perfecto a excepción del pequeño detalle de que en un lateral de la cabecera de la cama había una gran rejilla de ventilación por la que pasaban las cañerías y durante toda la noche estuvimos escuchando caer el agua cada vez que alguien utilizaba el aseo.

El hotel está muy bien comunicado aunque la calle en la que está no es muy acogedora. La decoración muy bien, en plan zen y muy limpio. El suelo de madera, sin moqueta, bastante más higiénico. Se agradece la barra libre del minibar, sin alcohol por supuesto. Del desayuno no puedo opinar porque me pareció muy caro y no lo incluí. Tampoco puedo opinar […] del parking. Repetiría. Läs mer

La bañera es algo resbaladiza.

Io e la mia ragazza volevamo un hotel di marca, comodo alla metro, ma lontano dal fervore del centro (altrimenti non te lo gusti): l'abbiamo trovato! Personale premuroso ed efficiente 24h/24, un giorno abbiamo chiesto di cambiare camera per via dei vicini un po' ingombranti, e ci hanno subito accontentato, dandoci una camera ancora più bella. Frigobar […] analcolico sempre gratuito, e la sera puoi farti un tè o un caffè in sala relax. Il quartiere non offre granchè ma per chi ama la movida resta in centro e giustamente torna all'alba!Lo consigliamo. Läs mer

Si ya has estado en Madrid antes este es un hotel que recomiendo al 100%, muy cerca del aereopuerto y de la estacion de metro, asi que la movilidad es muy buena, no esta en el centro, asi que si vas por primera vez a madrid, no te recomiendo esta ubicación. El desayuno es excelente y todo el hotel en general esta muy bien diseñado y mantenido, esta […] como nuevo. El unico problema que tuvimos fue con el aire acondicionado pero lo repararon al dia siguiente de nuestra llegada, y la misma noche que hicimos la queja vinieron a chequearlo e incluso nos ofrecieron cambiar de cuarto. Otra cuestion, pero ya es mas de la red Wifi, es que el wifi en el cuarto con telefonica, nunca pudimos disfrutarlo como queriamos, teniamos que sentarnos muy cerca de la puerta y desconectarlos y volvernos a conectar a cada rato, asi que les recomiendo que no pague por el wifi, mejor vayan al lobby que la conexion alli es gratis!!!. Periodico o revista gratis todo los dias y lo mejor de todo MINIBAR GRATIS!!!!!(Claro que solo eran bebidas no alcoholicas). Recomendamos el hotel al 100% y pensamos volver autilizarlo en nuestros proximos viajes a Madrid. Läs mer

Hotel excelente y personal amabilísimo. Ubicación próxima a metro pero distante del centro

空港や観光ｽﾎﾟｯﾄへのｱｸｾｽが良く、部屋も清潔、ｽﾀｯﾌの対応も非常に親切なのに価格は安価。次回も宿泊したいと思います。

Es un hotel alejado del centro, pero la boca de metro está muy cerca. El hotel está muy bien, aunque las habitaciones son un poco pequeñas y el personal deja un poco que desear. Así que le doy un suficiente - bien.

Appena entrati in camera le sensazioni sono buone: pulizia, spaziosità, comodità (tavolini, sedie). Una nota sul bagno: spazioso e ben rifinito, ampi spazi insomma. La camera ogni mattina veniva sistemata e pulita molto bene. Passa una sola linea della metro e ai deve fare un cambio/o due dipende dove vuoi andare (è l'unica nota sfavorevole), anche […] se vicino ad una grande arteria il traffico non si sente, lo consiglio.
