Vi var mycket nöjda under våra dagar på detta hotell. Vänlig uppmärksam personal,tysta rum och bra frukost samt bra läge,ca.15 min i taxi till Coventgarden där vi tycker det finns både mysiga butiker och mycket olika bra restauranger. Om man är intresserad av textil skall man åka till Chelsea Harbour och se de allra senaste trenderna. Bra läge nära t-bana. Mysiga omgivningar - fina promenader vid Regent's Canal och antikbodar/ marknadsstånd i Camden Passage. Utomordentligt god och riklig frukostbuffé där trevlig och uppmärksam personal tog väl hand om oss. Jag rekommenderar detta hotell! Bra och fräscht hotell med fina rum (med engelska mått mätt) och jättebra frukostbuffé!! Tyst och lugnt kring hotellet och tuben är ca 5 min promenad därifrån. Det går smidigt att ta sig till centrala London. Islington är en trevlig stadsdel med mycket restauranger, pubar och caféer. Det enda negativa var att det inte […] ingick wifi/internet i rumspriset, utan ville man ha det fick man betala extra. Det tycker jag är väldigt dålig service, särskilt då det är ett business hotell. The Hotel was good. I don't like the carpets that are everywhere in UK but otherwise it was great. Wonderful breakfast, nice personnel and the hotel is wonderful situated on Upper Street, the place to be! //J

First the good....Staff was very helpful and polite. The location was convenient and the rooms were large for London area. The bad: no air conditioning - I mean it. We visited at the end of April and we like to keep things cool coming from Florida in the US where it is usually hot. Maintenance told us the "Chiller" was not set for the summer yet. We […] were on the top floor and were forced to survive with a fan and our window open the entire time (and it rained the entire time making it quite uncomfortable. Great hotel and fantastic for events at The Design Centre

We stayed on 20/04/2012 for a family wedding. Our stay was excellent. The staff couldn't be more helpful, especially the girls on reception. The cooked breakfast was one of the best l have had at a good hotel anywhere in the world. We would stay there again and would strongly recommend the Hilton Islington.

I stopped here the night before completing the London marathon. The hotel was in an ideal place for me, great links to the roads in and out of the city as well as being very close to Angel Underground Station. The car parking was easy and very convenient along with being reasonably priced for London. The room was clean quiet and spacious. Well positioned near the underground and close to an amazing variety of restaurants (just turn left at the end of the hotel entrance). We ate at the turkish restaurant which was excellent and very reasonably priced. Only a 10 minute walk from Sadler's Wells, our destination for the evening. It is a nice hotel in a secure area of London where there are lots of shops and restaurants within walking distance. It is close to the central business area of London. That is the reason I stayed there;only two tube stops from my meetings. It is expensive to take a cab there from Heathrow - 100 pounds. I'm used to small rooms in London area hotels. The Hilton Islington room was quite large, even by US standards. In addition, there were some expanded complimentary beverages I hadn't seen before. The property isn't new, but is clean. I ate at the restaurant one night and the food was great.

The hotel is close to the tube station and all the facilities offered by Angel and Islington. Staff were very friendly and helpful. No need to say in west end!

Hotel was lovely - having an early booking discount for the night of our stay made it very well priced for the location. A short walk from Angel tube station made it well placed for our needs. The staff were friendly, the room was very comfortable, and quite spacious compared to a normal double room. I had a good night's sleep, which is rare for me, […] so all in all I was very pleased and will happily stay there next time I need to be in the area. Only comments were that the ice machine on our floor was broken (though since I'm not used to having access to an ice machine, this didn't bother me particularly) and there was a strange piece of plywood attached to the top of the headboard of the bed for no apparent reason. Hilton Islington is a nice hotel with a superb breakfast. Short hop on the 43 to Emirates and 5 minutes to Angel station. They provide excellent service and were willing to go the extra mile in order to help get speciality foods (allergies) to cater for everyone in the group.

We boked the hotel to attend an exhibition at the Business Design Centre, and the location of the hotel could not have been better! It was right next door approximately 50 feet from the centre. Overall it was a very nice hotel! We were allowed to check in approximately 1 hour early, without charge. the receptionist was very friendly and efficient. The […] room itself was a good size and very clean and generally in good condition. The bed was very comfortable! The only issue with the room would be that there was clearly a bit of a problem with condensation around the window, which meant that the wallpaper was discoloured, but this did not spoil our visit. The bathroom was very clean, with plenty of towels and toiletries. the shower was great, but there did seem to be a lack of hot water pressure at the hand basin. There was only one bath robe, but this did not bother us because we don't generally use them, and as I say, there were plenty of towels. Tea & coffee making facilities were included and these were good too. We ate in the hotel in the evening and had a good meal. I can recommend the January special! The restaurant staff were all very friendly and curteous. Breakfast was very good, with a good choice, from continental, to cereals through to the full english. There was plenty of tea, coffee and orange juice too, which the staff constantly kept topped up! The areas of the hotel that we saw, reception, lobby, lifts, 3rd floor, bar & restaurant, all appeared to be in very good condition, clean and well maintained. We only experienced one minor glitch, if it can be called that! When we arrived for breakfast, there was some confusion as to whether we had already paid for this (which we had!), as their computer system seemed to say that we hadn't. However, the guy sent us through with a promise to investigate it and come back to us if he couldn't resolve it. We never saw him again, so have to assume that the matter was inded reslved. OK hotel but decoaration is a bit old style

Very good value, and an excellent location. The bed was a bit hard but it wouldn't stop me staying again. A great hotel for a short break.

Have stayed in the Hilton several times at different locations and always find they are overated. Not that they are terrible but feel they are not the same standard of other 4 star hotels and feel you are very much paying for the name more than quality these days. Now I do stay in hotels at least once or twice a week for last 9 years of varying levels […] so have a fairly good judge at this point. This hotel is very convenient for the nearby Conference Centre but very expensive when there is an exhibition on. It gets mixed reviews, but my stay on business for one night was OK apart from the extortionate cost. The room was clean and well maintained with a really comfortable bed. Everything worked, but I did not use the WiFi or internet.

This is my third time at the Hilton in Islington. Previously I found it convenient and if not the most modern hotel, certainly comfortable. This year was a real eye opener, with lumpy beds, lights and air conditioning not working and the most unhelpful staff in the world. After complaining 3 times about these things, they still aren't fixed and I continue […] to struggle with crazy lights and no a.c. No one here really seems to care as I paid in advance and am really at their mercy. Never again and anyone that has stayed here before and been happy, my suggestion is to think long and hard before returning. IF you do come, find somewhere else to have your meals. Also, new provider for internet. Scratch off card that you need to pay for and is good for only 24 hours. So if you are here, as I am, for 8 days, you need 8 cards and yes, you need to purchase them from the front desk. We stayed here for 2 nights for business in the Centre next door to the Hilton so location was the reason for our choice! For a Hilton this place really was a let down! Staff seemed to be clueless about what services were on offer (the hotel even advertises WI-FI on it's webpage but there is NO WI-FI!) and the room although clean didn't live up to […] our experience of the usual fresh sharp Hilton look. On the plus side we ordered plenty of room service and weren't charged for it!! Incompetent staff clearly can work in one's favour! So, I'm generally low-maintenance when it comes to hotels. I like a comfortable bed and a clean shower- that's all. This had neither... and their wifi was only available in the lobby for extremely ridiculous costs. You may plug your computer into an ethernet cable in the room, but if you have a mac good luck with that. If you stay there request some […] extra duvets/pillows to cushion yourself on their spring mattresses that were purchased in 1982. Bring some bleach for the mold in the showers... and make sure to check your bathrobe for makeup on it (if you're in the 'fancy' deluxe room, that is.) The hotel is in a great location for shops and restaurants. The hotel itself was great very modern room, good decor onlt downside was the bed! Very thin mattress and cheap the kinda quality which you would expect to see at a budget rather than a premium hotel.

This is a Hilton in name only. The standard of the Hotel is very low. In our double room we only had one bedside table, the TV didn't work and we had to ask for towels three times. Room wasn't cleaned by the time we returned on the second night. And they were advertising movies which they couldn't show. Final straw was the bar staff who could not understand […] english at all. The hotel itself is adequate, but modest. But we were only 2 blocks from the Tube and there were restaurants galore in the immediate vicinity. Super convenient. We would stay there again.

My son and I stayed at this hotel while visiting London. It was a delightful experience. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet was excellent with a wide variety of good quality food. Our room was very clean and well appointed. The beds were comfortable. The location is near the Angel tube stop...very convenient. We were in Europe […] for two weeks and stayed at 2 other hotels....this hotel was the best, by far. my daughter and i stayed 2 nights at the hilton islington as she was exhibiting at the new designers show which is attached to the hotel. perfect location and friendly helpful staff we arrived off the sleeper from aberdeen and she arranged for our room to be made ready asap which was great. It did the trick but has a little ways to go in terms of modern amenities. My biggest beef was the lack of in-room wifi and the archaic vouch policy for connecting to that network which is only accessible in the lobby. International travelers with modern mobile devices are looking to keep their mobile phone costs low by accessing wifi to keep in touch […] and do business. By charging exorbitant rates for a now basic amenity in many other hotels and countries and by allowing British Telecom's laughably complex and confusing system to manage how a business traveler gains access to the world is at best frustrating, and at worst the symptom of what stifles innovation. Me and my husband stayed in the Hilton Islington London at the weekend and found it easily from the Angel Tube station, we were travelling all over London so it was convenient for our purpose. Thought the decor could do with some re vamping and maybe a lick of paint here and there but the room was clean and comfortable, and the breakfast was absolutely […] fab (even though there was no brown sauce a must for an english breakfast) and delivered on time in the morning to save rushing downstairs. I stay here all the time for business and am always very happy about the level of service and value for the money. Good clean room, close to the Angel tube stop...Islington is a great area, and this hotel is right in the heart of a bunch of bars and dining establishments. I love staying here.

This is a very good hotel at a convenient location with easy access to the buzz of Islington with its cafes, restaurants and Theatre. The staff is very friendly and the room is exactly what you can expect from this type of hotel and the buffet breakfast was very good. We can recommend the hotel.
