They had everything I needed. The surrounding neighbourhood is very scenic, and close to shopping for anything you desire. The woman at the front desk was very nice and courteous.

There were stains on the seats of the chairs. Every piece of furniture looked at least 20 years old and I am not exaggerating. There were three rather large stains on the carpet. The clocks in the room all showed different times by an hour. The 20 year old tube TV sat on a ledge coming out of the wall. I almost hit my head on it a dozen times. The woman […] at the desk was ok and the pool was nice, mostly because there was never anyone else in it. There is a restaurant in the same parking lot called Chapters Viewpoint. Avoid. Our stay was fine - not a great mattress and haven't seen such thin towels since can't remember when, but the room was clean and cool - good value for the price.

Hotel room comfy and clean. Hotel is situated on top of hill and it was a glorious view from our hotel window. Hotel felt stark and dated.

We where a group of six adults that needed a cleaned room and bed to stay in Kamloops for one night while on our way to Vancouver to leave for our Alaskan Cruise. When we first saw the outside of the property, we were pleased with the grounds and the way they were very well taken care of. HOWEVER, the building looked like it needed lots of repair, needless […] to say we were a bit afraid of what we had booked for our one night stay. Well, we were pleasantly surprised.............the rooms were very very clean and nicely furnished. The pool was a great added bonus, as the weather was very hot. We would not think twice to stay there again!! There is a restaurant right beside the property and has a beautiful view of the city and nice menu. This would be a great place for a family with children that are looking for a budget lodging that has kitchenettes with a pool and clean. Läs mer

When I booked the hotel the person told me the place had been recently renovated,maybe in the 70's. The lights did not work. I had to go to the front desk at 11pm because the lights went out in the bathroom. Only one light worked in the room. There were cigarette burns all over the carpets and bedspreads. The fan in the bathroom sounded like it was […] about to take flight out of the ceiling. The air conditioner was so noisey you could not have it on at night or when you did the tv had to be turned up to max. the stay was nice, as far as the comfort of the beds. I think they need new bed, especialy the one we were in room 236. They were sagging very badly, that you could feel the springs. Otherwise everything else was great. thank you

The hotel is showing his age. They should do a big TLC on it. Otherwise the location is great and the rooms all have kithcenette.

This is the worst hotel on our trip across Canada. The rooms smell humidity and fungus, mildew. This is a very old hotel, needs renovation, the carpet was all dirty and wavy.

Although the front desk staff was very accomodating and friendly - the room was not to our standards. We needed an early check-in time because of a wedding and let the online service know we had a dog. The staff was not advised of these points. We had requested a non-smoking room - we received a room that WREAKED like cigarette smoke. Our dog even […] sat outside of the room door when we were present because he didn't want to be in the room. There were bugs in the bathtub and the room was unfinished... no baseboards, etc. We didn't even take a shower there. The phone did not work - I confirmed how to use it on a local call and it didn't work. Again, the lady at the front desk was fantastic. But we wouldn't recommend this hotel... sorry. Läs mer

Hello, Please note that there are at least two Howard Johnson Hotels in Kamloops. This one I am reviewing is by the Sahalti Shopping Centre where there is a Safeway and a Zellers. This Ho Jo is a typical Ho Jo of a 1990s era and needs some facility maintenance/face lift. However, it is only ten to fifteen minutes from the Thompson River University and […] offers decent room space. The beds are very comfortable indeed. Be sure to try the Chapters Lookout Restaurant steps away from the Ho Jo. Its food is very decent as well. You get a $2 Restaurant coupon for staying at the Ho Jo. Läs mer

Jeg havde brug for et hotel i forbindelse med to dages bustur fra Vancouver til Jasper. Hotellet skulle være tæt på Greyhound busstationen og gerne i nærheden af byen. Og så skulle det være praktisk og funktionelt.begge dele fungerede.
