Hotellet höll på att renoveras. Receptionen på 1:a våningen. Långsamma hissar. En fåtölj var i dåligt skick , bordet var för litet. Fantastiska sängar. Takpoolen var dåligt underhållen, smutsigt vatten varje dag (7 dagar.)

Mascot kretsar kring flugplatsaktivitet - både inrikes och internationellt. Här finns ett antal hotell bekvämt belägna för den som snabbt ska flyga vidare och de som behöver övernatta mellan flyg. Det finns ett antal rabatterade ställen inom 2 kilometers avstånd och caféer längs havet ligger inte längre än 4 kilometer bort vid Brighton-Le-Sands. Det centrala affärsdistriktet ligger 12 kilometer norrut.

"Expensive Eating"
The hotel is perfect for Sydney Airport. Lovely included breakfast but evening meals are expensive with not a great choice and very little on the plate. If looking for an evening meal best to go to Holiday Inn along the road. Better choice and better value for money.Verifierad gästrecension
"Convenient to the airport"
The hotel was clean as was my room and bathroom. The room was small, but totally fine for an overnight between flights. The breakfast was substantial with a choice of continental or buffet. I chose the buffet and there was plenty of food to chose from. The front desk service was helpful. My only issue was that I arrived in the evening into the domestic […] terminal and just missed the shuttle bus. I wish that the buses ran more frequently. I chose to walk - it took about 20 minutes. We could not fault the hotel, except the service at breakfast. When we came down for breakfast, my wife asked what breakfast was available for us and our 4 yr old daughter. She was told, very curtly, $22 each. I checked at the reception desk, and the woman there told us we had different options including toast and coffee at $10.50, or continental at […] $17 (I think). Convenient to airport but expensive for what it is. We had a room that appeared to have been wheelchair accesible and remodeled to be for the able bodied. Seemed like a waste. Not an inexpensive hotel and not great value for money. The much ballyhooed beds were double - not queen sized. I am skinny but 6 foot plus and the bed, while comfortable, was […] too short for me. "Over all very satisfied"
The Hotel and our rooms were VERY CLEAN, the quality of the service by the front dest was top notch. The Hotel was located close to the airport so we chose it as we were at the end of a 12 day cruise and needed to rest before making the trip to the Central USA.Verifierad gästrecension

"Close to the airport"
Room was OK as we were staying over due to collecting family arriving at the airport early in the morning. Granted, we booked a budget room. Room was fairly compact (Double bed and a single) which could have been awkward if we had large suitcases and hand luggage with us for an international flight. Did not try the restaurant but it looked good and […] there was a nice smell from the food. Vending machine in the hallway had one of the cheapest bottles of soft drink (Coke, Fanta, Water) I've seen in Sydney at $2.60 for a 600ml bottle. You'd expect to get ripped off, but no. Was very convenient location to put my head down between regional flight one day and international flight the next. Very reasonable hotel rate. Close proximity to Airport /Sydney train line with quick and dirt cheep travel to downtown Sydney ($4.80 for return trip instead of $60 one way cab!). While I understand that they have to limit use to 15 minutes because of the demand, and that space is at a premium, they still should consider improving this by having more stations. Suited our needs very well. We had a flight into Sydney airport in the evening and an early flight out next day. We had left our luggage in the baggage storage at the airport so only had hand luggage. Hotel was close enough to walk from and to the next morning. We found the room clean, comfortable but a little small. It was a short walk to shops and short taxi ride to the airport the next morning. "Pleasant enough for an overnight"

"Poor, expensive meal offer, poor shuttle connectio"
We stayed at the airport Ibis prior to flying out early the next morning. We were forced to eat in the area of the airport as we could not get a shuttle to the airport after 6.30.p.m. - we had planned to have the day in Sydney and then go to the hotel. The only meal offered by the hotel was an expensive buffet. There were no snack options or a la carte […] options. We were told this was an experiment which we felt was a money making ploy as the only other possible food available in the area was by walking to another hotel (Holiday Inn) along a busy road. This hotel did offer snacks and an a la carte menu at a reasonable price. Very few people would feel comfortable doing that walk. Despite being told that it was easy to walk between the airport and the hotel, this is not the case. There is also a charge for the hotel shuttle to the airport, an infrequent shuttle service that is slow (over 30 minutes) as it calls at other hotels and termini on the way and a very disconcerting system like a closed shop operating between shuttle operators so that each one's territory is closely guarded and customers have no choice and can be caught in the flak between the rival operators.
