"Good Hotel for the Price"
While the main hotel was fine it did a have a very odd seemingly older section of the hotel attached to its side. This other section very dilapidated and run down. "not the best stay we have had"
Remodeling going on through most of hotel, dirty floors. Horrible food and service at restaurant. And apparently they don't need to abide by the rule of occupancy in the pool area because they allowed several teenage children to have pool parties and over crowd the rooms etc. Management needs remodeling if you ask me.Verifierad gästrecension

"Pleasure All Ours"
For the price paid, I'll never stay anywhere else while in Wichita. We checked in early, no problem. Room was large, modern, clean and comfortable. Beautiful view of the city at night. Great service no matter what we ask for and we did test that theory.Verifierad gästrecension

"decent"
The overall stay was ok, my wife and I got a good sleep! The room was very clean, just a few problems! In the room there were electrical outlets that were loose couldn't plug in phone chargers etc, need to definitely get that fixed! The bath tub had no water pressure plus the drain plug would not seal so my wife wasn't able to take a bath! I would rate […] the stay about 5 out of 10, it could have been better!!! "Good hotel - just needs a little sprucing up"
This was my second stay and I chose it because my first visit was outstanding in the customer service department. The location is good, the hotel is undergoing some badly needed updates so that's all good. But this time, there were serious service issues. When I checked in, there were several other people checking in as well and only two people at the […] counter. The front desk could have used another staffer.The restaurant attached to the hotel desperately needs help in staffing. The first time I stayed, breakfast service was very slow. This time it was non-existent. While waiting over 15 minutes to even try to get a cup of coffee, I saw four other tables leave without ever placing an order. Another table waited forever for a check and then had to ask for correction for some ordered item which was never delivered. That was enough... I left the hotel, consulted my smart phone and went to breakfast some 10 miles away to a place where I knew there was service. When I checked out of the hotel, I mentioned to the one and only desk attendant that I was late in checking out because of the issue with trying to dine in the hotel's restaurant. She shrugged her shoulders and just said ok. Again, customer service needs some attention - more staff, and better trained staff. "Decent Family Friendly Hotel"
Hotel was clean. Staff was friendly but sent me to my room with a non-working key, causing a unexpected trip back to the lobby to rectify. Didn't seem to apologetic about the annoyance but assured me that if THIS one didn't work that I was welcomed to come back down to the lobby - presumably to be given, what? Another non-working key? :) Fortunately […] the room was clean and well air conditioned on this 110 degree Kansas day. "Good bed"
Pros: comfortable beds, friendly staff, clean pool and hot tub. Cons: on the 8th floor you can hear the street racers driving by, 8th floor ice machine didn't work so had to go to another floor (no big deal). When we arrived with our party of 5 there where no luggage carts to be located so a bell hop helped us take all of out things to our rooms. So […] helpful. I have always enjoyed staying at the Holiday Inn but I have one complaint about this trip. The employees were great, BUT, I booked this hotel because I was told they had an outdoor pool. IT WAS CLOSED AND UNAVAILABLE TO US. The indoor pool felt like it had ice water in it, and none of our family could stand the cold. "Avoid at all costs"
This was awful. The room was mediocre, the free buffet was not free at all. The meal was overly expensive, the service was the slowest I have ever experienced. The were maybe 2 or 3 tables occupied (including ours) and yet it took 0ver 30 minutes to get our food. we were supposed to have two queen beds and the first night we had a king and a sofa. There were 4 of us. The second night the tub would not drain. We stayed there for a weekend. The hotel was average at best. They had an indoor pool but water was so cold you could not use it. The rooms had no microwave or frig in them. I have stayed at hotels for the same price that included a useable pool as well as microwave and frig. The hotel had no free breakfast either which other hotels offer at same price. "great time"
My husband and I came to Wichita to visit family. It was nice to have them come to us as to go to them. The children were able to swim and the adults enjoyed the hot tub. It was very relaxing. Will plan to stay here again in the future.Verifierad gästrecension
