The hotel has a beautiful beach and nice pools. The hotel is in good condition. The food however is not great

I mean the beach and the beach area is great, the seaside grill has an amazing view , but looking at rooms and restaurants they are ok, if you are going as a family with little kids and looking for good prices and value it is ok fun for kids, but for me and my husband it was not that great, the room was ok kind of old and it is so easy for hear people […] outside your room, we heared a man snoring in the room beside us so it was not that comfortable. all i can say is that it was average, if you are looking at a simple place to sleep while focusing more on the beach and island tours and sea activities it is good. Saona island was a nice experience they take you from the hotel in a boat to visit and spend the day there. Läs mer

Food variety was none existant. Leftovers from Himatsu (japanese restaurant) were eaten at the buffet the next day. Portofino restaurant was a loooong wait to get our food that was tasteless. We stood up and went to the buffet.

The property is large, pretty and well maintained. The service is up to par for an all inclusive resort. The fact that they have people aggressively selling time share presentations is ABSURD! It's a vacation folks. Nevertheless, that and the fact that the selection and quality of food was mediocre was enough to keep me from staying there again. Very good value for the money. Clean. Make sure you try the Jungle Resteraunt.

The location of the hotel is quite good, being close to the airport in La Romana (LRM), also only approximately 1.5 hours from Santo Domingo Int. Airport (SDQ). I spent 4 days in a shared business/personal trip. For business meetings is a great place. Located at a fair distance from a secondary airport and 1 1/2 hour from the main Dom Rep airport. But when it comes to a personal - pleasure trip it is a total different story. First, room a/c didn't work; not only mine. A colleague' room either. Coincidence? […] Second, main buffet was poor; variety was totally absent; Can you imagine same food for 4 days? They claim to offer international alcoholic drinks, not quite true: only in the lobby bar you can find them (BTW is the main smoking spot...) If you are in the need of internet access, the whole hotel is coverage by they wifi network, but you have to go and purchase an access code to the business center, no credit card accepted, no "charge to my room" either, only cash (quite expensive) Pros: Beautiful beach, great pool, excellent location, great disco and casino, video games room for teens and children (PS3, XBOX360, Wii). Cons: They have several areas to improve like room comfort, buffet, bars, animation team and entertainment show. My husband and I had a wondeful time at the Dreams it's a fun friendly place for the whole family. The entertainers were great!!! Bordeaux, the french restaurant was excellent, as for portofino, the Italian one, we were a little dissapointed. At the Himitsu the steam Meru is to try you won't regret, don't expect great sushi thought. We loved the […] Dominiacan night, the grilled churascos were to die for and all the local food varieties made dinner an exiting gastronomy. Make sure you don't miss it. Where i think needs improvement is in the service, they need to increase their staff where you don't have to get your own drink every time. Lamentablemente tuvimos la mala suerte de sufrir un intento de asalto en la autopista a La Romana, antes de llegar a San Pedro de Macoris. Hay una banda que opera desde el aeropuerto y se dedica a interceptar vehiculos de turismo para asaltar a los turistas. Vivimos momentos de mucho stress, cuando nuestro chofer de la van contratada para el traslado […] al hotel Dreams fue casi obligado a parar en medio de la noche y la oscuridad. Hotel maravilhoso! Sistema All Inclusive de primeira. Atendimento dos funcionários muito bom. Entretenimento nota 10! Recomendo e vou voltar. O único ponto negativo são os vendedores do clube "unlimited". Armam para te vender! São desagradáveis. Mas basta dar um fora! Tirando isso, o hotel é mesmo um sonho! Perfeito!

Les services, l'amabilité et le dévouement du personnel, le confort des chambres, la restauration, les piscines : tout celà est parfait ! Muchas gracias Yvo, Domingo, Felix, Jimmy, MariaIsabel y todos otros ... Mais ... Selon les jours, et les courants, la qualité de l'eau de mer est très variable (de 0 à 4). De plus, les Pics verts (pivert ou pic-vert, […] du latin Picus viridis espèce d'oiseau appartenant à la famille des picidés) font un bruit d'enfer dans certaines chambres sous toiture ... Excelente ubicacion, Playa espectacular sin olas. Los restaurantes para cenar son todos excelentes. Atención Numero 1. El lugar muy limpio, muy familiar, super acojedor. De verdad la pasamos divino, yo fui con mi espos e hijo, pero para veladas romanticas esta tambien perfecto. Super recomendado

9 ristoranti di cui 8 alla carta compresi nel soggiorno, tutti di qualità tra discreta e molto buona. camere grandi luminose e piuttosto pulite, 2 piscine più una riservata alla zona vip. Animazione presente , ma non opprimente. unico aspetto per noi negativo il personale incaricato della pulizia camere bussava alle 8:30 del mattino, a volte svegliandoci, […] e comunque in camera arrivavano le loro voci ed i rumori mentre pulivano le camere vicino.
