Excellent location. Awesome room design - kitchenette really came in handy. Only downturn was one front desk lady who really was not in tune with customer service etiquette. Seemed as though she was forced to be at work.

Overall, this place worked for us...the bed was very comfortable and the room was spacious. The hotel is in neighborhood with little in the way of restaurants except for the Outback next door, but we didn't need any of that. My one complaint was with the breakfast. The food was ok, cereal, yogurt, waffles, sausage/bacon, toast/bagels, biscuits, gravy, […] eggs (pretty rubbery). On our last morning, they were out of meat (one of the only gluten-free items) so I was checking out the yogurt when the server walked in, on the phone, with more bacon and sausage. She proceeded to fill the pan, moving one piece of bacon or sausage at a time, all the while still chatting on the phone, and oblivious to the line forming behind her. Then I went for the coffee, but the urn was empty. My husband tracked down the server in another room and she came back (STILL ON THE PHONE!) and she took the urn away, presumably to refill it. We waited about 10-15 minutes but finally had to leave without getting any. I guess we owe her an apology for interfering with her very important conversation... who wants coffee for breakfast anyway? Läs mer

Great rate for a suite with kitchenette, but nothing special and a tiny bit run-down. Still, staff was friendly and I have no real complaints.

We stayed 3 nights at this location on vacation. Room was clean and well stocked. Apprehensive about 1st floor accomodations initially, but without cause. Room was quiet, hotel well maintained, staff very helpful. Close to our intended destinations and restaurants within walking distance. Safe neighborhood. Overall, great hotel for price!!

This place is in a great location and I got it at a good rate, but there were too many little negatives. First, the main room, kitchen and living room were small, compared to other suites I have stayed in. The bedroom and bathroom were average. There were little things like the plug in the bathroom sink having become detached from the lift mechanism […] and the plunger not working. Apparently cleaning staff didn't want to be bothered with reporting it to maintenance. One night the HVAC system started blowing out cold air just as I was getting ready for bed. It was not hot in the room. I found the thermostat on the dog leg of the room wall about 3 1/2 feet off the floor. I had to get on my knees to read it. Because the only light in the room came from lamps on the end tables on the other side of the room, it was hard to read, also not helped by the size 4 font. Finally I did figure it out and got it turned off. Once I did the room maintained a comfortable temperature the rest of my stay. Then there's the loud fan in the bathroom that automatically goes on when the light is turned on; the two oversized pillows with two undersized ones on the bed; and the comforter, which overheats my body when I sleep (so I bring a blanket#. Just lots of irritating small stuff. If that stuff doesn't turn you off, the place was mostly well maintained with friendly staff, and real close #walking distance) to tons of restaurants on Beltline Road. Room was very tiny. The plug where the room coffee maker was turned out to be dead. Spilled water in the coffee maker when I Had to move it to a plug that actually worked. Hot water handle in bathroom sink was broken, and there was a live bug in the sink. Positive side-very good breakfast. Overall value is good. Closet door was missing knob & door was hard to open. Parking is tight & there's not too many places. One of few suites with queen beds.

Very pleased with my overall stay! Staff was very kind and courteous and not a bunch of robots or rude people. Room was very pleasant and comfortable and didn't break the bank. Will definitely stay there again if I ever need to :-D

Friendly, quiet, and clean. This was my second time to stay at this hotel as my work frequently takes me to Dallas. I will continue to stay at this hotel when my activity is in the North central area of Dallas or Addison.

You don't get someting for nothing. So, knowing that I was not paying for a 5 start hotel, I was happy with the overall location and service. The room was clean and the breakfast was good. It was only a block away from my convention at the Marriot and I saved 50% from their rate. A good deal if you are in the far North Dallas/Addision area.

The hotel was a good value. We did have to change rooms. The 1st one was on the 1st floor and smelled musty. The second floor room was better, but the fixtures in the bathroom were loose and the bathroom fan was very noisey. The rooms were very clean and well appointed. I would stay again. Nice TV. Comfortable beds. Great breakfast. Staff friendly.

Hotel was clean, new bedding was nice, but it doesn't cover up the horrible mattresses. The free breakfast did not taste very good and we went out for breakfast after the first two mornings. The evening "appetizers" was actually worse than breakfast. Microwaved morsels, cheap wine, and juice. Great Location, easy access to everything from dining, bars and shopping. Was pleasantly surprised that rooms were as nice as they were for the price. Staff was pleasant. The location was great. Cleaning staff needed to clean bathroom a little better. Bathroom was not as clean as it should have been. It looked as if someone had been sick after it had been cleaned.

PROS: 1. Huge room with couch, sofa-chair and coffee table. 2. Full kit. with *full-size* frig, 2 burners, pots/pans, utensils, sink, dishwasher, soap, plates, glasses. 3. Large ~42-46" flat-panel HDTV *AND* actual HD channels to take advantage of it. 4. *HOT* Breakfast with eggs, sausage *AND* potatoes, waffles, porridge and oatmeal. CONS: 1. Just […] after 8p on a Wed. night, stood at un-staffed / sign-less / bell-less front desk ~5 mins. before finally yelled "Hello?!?". Then lady popped out immed. from right behind an open doorway behind front desk. An un-visibly staffed front desk is unacceptable at this normal hr. and unacceptable at any time w/o a sign and bell. Recurred just a few mins. later when so this was obviously not a fluke (at least for this employee). 2. Took an (unacceptable) ~10-15 minutes!?! checking me in working away at her terminal mostly w/o asking me any questions or giving me any updates on what she's doing or what unusual circumstance(s) might be slowing her down. 3. Rm was a sauna and window was open. When I asked for a cooled room, the clerk spent ~25-30 mins trying (probly at least 1/2 doz.) diff rms to find just one that was cooled, so apparently it's not a fluke that rooms are not pre-cooled. 3. Tiny bathrm w/ weak residential toilet, cheap 1-pc. tub/shower walls. 4. No spa (filled-in). 5. Tiny, claustrophobic lobby. 6. Door needed hard pull / push hard to latch. 7. Tiny 3-pc. gym. 8. I was in Dallas for three days attending a seminar. The room was quiet, clean, and comfortable. It was actually a small two room suite, not just a big room with a refrigerator. If I were to have any complaints it would be that the breakfast, scrambled eggs, sausage, and/or cereal, left something to be desired. But it was free and edible.
