We stayed at The Betsy Hotel for one week and they succeeded our expactations by far with price, quality of service, exterior and interior quality level and of course location. Something that no other hotel on South Beach could match! It's location is just perfect, right on Ocean Drive close to everything but still in a more quiet part of the street. […] Restaurants, bars, shopping and of course the beach within no distance at all. But for restaurants you do not even have to leave the hotel since they house the very well known and excellent restaurant BLT Steak in the lobby. Vi, en familj på två vuxna och två tonåringar, bodde på Betsy en dryg vecka i juli 2011. Hotellet har ett helt perfekt läge på Ocean Drive med stranden tvärs över gatan. Är otroligt nöjd med hotellet vi bodde på i Miami. Mycket trelig personal, bra restaurant (BLT) på hotellet. Rummet var superfint! Duktig bartender. ALLT var jättebra. Väl värt pengarna!

Om man som vi gillar små, lyxiga designhotell så ska man välja det här i Miami:-). Betsy ligger som en litet pärla i bästa läge på Ocean drive - sist bland de låga husen och precis innan höghusen. Hotel för finsmakare, man skämdes nästan när personal öppnade dörrar för en etc. Enormt hög service men en aning fisförnämt för min smak, snackade med en saudiarab i lobbyn...han verkade behöva uppassning dygnet runt, undrar om han kunde äta själv....perfekt hotel för honom antagligen. Otrolig upplevelse!

We stayed at the Betsy for five nights in late June and this hotel is a true gem! Restored meticulously into its old-world charms but with all modern amenities you could ask for, the hotel sits conveniently right on the beach in SoBe. However, despite being a stones-throw away from all the clubs, restaurants and bars in South Beach the hotel is at the […] northern end of the street where its much less quiet. Thus you can easily go out for dinner, to a club or just catch a drink, but once you feel like retreating back to your room the hotel is in a quiet spot. Our room was big, bright and very comfortable and had a nice and tranquil design with a colonial or Caribbean feel to it. We had a large wardrobe, a TV in both the bedroom as well as in the bathroom and a docking station for our iPod. We used the valet parking extensively and also the hotel’s various services which we were very pleased with. Great and friendly staff! The hotel has a nice pool area and a very pleasant rooftop bar/deck if you don’t feel like using Betsy’s private beach. This is a perfect hotel if you want a colonial style classy hotel near the beach and close to restaurants/shopping and nightlife. I really appriciated the stay.

Our first trip to south beach and after looking at the other hotels around I believe the Betsy was the pick. Great location, amazing service, nice a quiet yet close to all the action. The service was world class and the location very central. The quality and variety of the Food in the restaurant was exceptional.

Would definitely stay at this hotel again. Right on Oceans Dr. but comfortable space to gain some solitude. Service was fantastic. Make sure you treat "Adam" at the front door right as he is very helpful.

The Betsy Hotel is a lovely Hotel in a very convenient location, just on top of Ocean Drive. 17th Street is a five minute walk and the beach is just across the street. The room was very cosy and the service amazing. The staff, from the smiling doorman Jorge to the check in staff made our stay wonderful. The Hotel has a small pool at the back and a lovely […] roof terrace. I would recommend to book a room with pool or ocean view. The Hotel also offers a gym, a bar and restaurant. Lounge chairs, umbrellas and towels are provided for the Betsy from Boucher Brothers. What makes this hotel so wonderful is there outstanding service and super nice staff. Mostly to mention is the concierge Paul who made our stay absolutely amazing. From surprise Champagne to chocolate with strawberries in our room.. all dinner bookings and club recommendations done.. My wife and I haven't had a vacation in six years because our son was battling cancer. He is doing fine so we wanted to get away for a few days, relax, and recharge. The Betsy was perfect! Luciano allowed us to check in early and called up to the room to make sure everything was satisfactory. The rooms were nice, clean, and comfortable! We enjoyed a dip in the pool but spent most of our time across the street relaxing on the beach. Chairs and Umbrellas set up for hotel quest made beach time very comfortable. A short walk took us to the party spots on Ocean Drive or to the shopping and fine dining on Lincoln Road. We really enjoyed the pizza at Spris, the bistro food at Paul's, and the italian at Deluca's. The wife is already trying to recreate the bean's and rice from David's Cuban Restaurant. We walked off all the food window shopping on Collins and Washington Ave. My brother lives in Miami and we have already recommended family stay at the Betsy when visiting the area. The hotel is great. It's modern, comfortable and very clean. The staff is amazing and do everything they can to make you happy.

Friendly and helpful staff alongside a beautifully refurbished landmark.

We stayed at The Betsy Hotel on our first trip to South Beach. It was perfect. The hotel is situated on the north end of South Beach making it a bit quieter, yet still in perfect proximity to the many activities South Beach offers. The exterior of the hotel is classic Georgian - unique to the Ocean Drive art deco look. Inside is pure chic -with lush […] decor. Our room was also tres chic with linen curtains, boldly striped chairs and bright lime accents. Some of our luxuries included a TV screen embedded in our bathroom mirror, a sitting room and most importantly, a gorgeous view of the beach, the park and the hustle and bustle of the sidewalks below. The only caution I would give is to light sleepers. Ocean Drive is busy til the wee hours and we could hear it in our room. Small price to pay for a wonderful stay in Sobe. Läs mer

It is wonderful!

The Betsy is located at a fantastic spot on South Beach - and the personal is great. However the standard of the hotelrooms needs an update. Small rooms, a/c to small but the beds were great. Pool area is too small for kids, we're there with 3 kids - not a good idea, mainly for adults. Overall ok - but still, I had expected more from a South Beach  […] Hotel. Läs mer

At check in everything was wonderful, the hotel was beautiful. although the things that happen to my debit card were not as great. The hotel forgot to tell me that they charge my debit card a $100 a day for security purposes which was ok until i found out that they hold my money for a week and a half after i leave. Then come to find out upon checkout […] that they charge $30 a day to valet your car on top of the $100 a day. then i was charged for mini bar foods that were never eaten and they refused to credit me. In the end my bank account was charged almost $300 on top of the price of a 2 night stay which was very pricey. I was very upset that none of this was explained to me upon check in. if you do decide to stay at this hotel make sure you ask prior to check in what everything costs. Läs mer

This is a great little hotel in Miami Beach. I was there for 3 days for a convention and it was a perfect setup. The hotel is located right on Ocean Drive, convenient to great restaurants and lots of excitement, but its at the north end therefore not overwhelmed by the people and activity a little further south. Its right across from the beach and kitty […] corner from a Starbucks--two nice conveniences when your back and forth to meetings during the day. The convention center is just a 5-10 minute walk so it was convenient enough to come back for a break. My room was small but well appointed and very comfortable for one person. The bar and restaurant occupy most of the ground floor lobby and give the place the feel of a pleasant social hub more than a typical hotel lobby. The place has an active but cosy feel with a mix of business and liesure visitors. Service in the restaurant was a little slow, but perhaps appropriate for the Miami Beach lifestyle. The staff at the hotel was very friendly and attentive. A minor problem I had with the TV was addressed within 3 minutes. I did not use the pool which is small and contained by an internal courtyard. I didn't see anyone else using it either, but the ocean is only a few hundred yards away. Towel and chair service at the beach are provided as long as you get there when the beach hut is open, which I never did. All in all, I had a great stay at the Betsy. I highly recommend it to others. The betsy hotel exceeded our exoectations. It had been remodeled recently and they did a great job of keeping an authentic feel to it, but with all the upgrades. The staff was extremely helpful. location is great for heading out to the ocean, and the staff at the beach were great.

The Betsy is quite simply the most divine hotel I have ever stayed at, and I've been to a few five star hotels in my day. Excellent staff, gorgeous rooms, wonderful on site restaurant. It is perfection!

I chose this hotel as I wanted to stay in a new hotel on the Art Deco strip in South Beach, and this hotel is a gem. Although smaller than some American hotel rooms, they were able for us, and the extra touches really made it special. I loved my stay at the Betsy! This Hotel truly sets the standard for what a Hotel experience should be. The service was incredible. The staff were professional and very friendly. The hotel decor is impecable! I definitely plan on going back.

This was a momm/daughter trip fro my daughter's Sweet 16th Birthday and it was beautiful. Very nice location as you could walk to Lincoln Road shoppes and Collins as well as all the great little places right there on Ocean Drive. The beach was across the street. You get a cabana included with your stay....so enjoy that on the beach! We ate on the restaurant […] and the food was great! If you have a special occassion....look up Heavenly Cupcake. Had a great stay at The Betsy. Really nice boutique hotel. Location on 14th and Ocean Drive is perfect. Roof top deck/bar/spa wasnt opened despite the websites stating it was. Still under construction but should be nearly done apparently. Resort fee of $15/room includes 2 beach lounge chairs, umbrella and towels. Really nice. No drinks served to the […] beach though :\ But thats ok.. good excuse to get up and go for lunch in one of the nice cafes. Front Porch Cafe only a block away was the best for breakfast. Highly recommend it. BLT Steak in the hotel was awesome. Great food. Service good. One night we did order room service and after 2 hours of waiting, we cancelled; they must have lost our order. But they gave us a complimentary breakfast the following morning at BLT Steak. The staff are all very friendly and accomodating. They managed to check us in early as we arrived at 10am. Nice bar in the hotel.. seems like a bit of a safari theme, although upstairs the halls are lined with black and white rock photos - very cool. Overall a great hotel and will definitely be back. This is our fifth time in Miami, and we have stayed in a different hotel each time, usually 5 star. I have to say that this hotel surpassed them all. It is well placed being on Oceon Drive, just across from the beach.The hotel has its own beach supplying a bed and umbrella, and it is yards from the hotel. The beds are very comfortable, and the hotel […] recently was refurbished at great expense and very tastefully. The spa was not yet open, but it scheduled to open very soon. The dining room is very elegant, yet homely, and the staff are excellent, extremely courteous and very accommodating. We heard that the restaurant is very good, but only ate breakfast there, but look forward to trying the restaurant for dinner on our next visit. Sehr schönes Hotel an bevorzugter Lage. Sehr netter Service. Excellentes Restaurant im Hotel, aber sehr teuer. Wer ein schönes Umfeld schätzt, bezahlt den hohen Preis. Unbedingt die Terrasse besuchen, super Aussicht auf Meer und schöne Lounge.

Hotel très sympathique qui tranche avec les autres hotels qui se trouvent au bord de plage (type Delano, Raleigh, ....). c'est un hotel à taille humaine, type boutique hotel. L'hotel est très beau, le personnel est très professionnel et sympathique. Bonne localisation (procher mer et des quartiers attrayants de South Beach)
