Den var väldigt bra. Rummen var fräscha med en ny modern stil. Belysningen på hotellet etc. var mysigt. Hotell personalen kunde chockerande bra engelska (om man jämför med övriga spanjorer i Madrid). Det var lätt å ta sig till flygplatsen från hotellet med kollektivtrafik enbart 3£ per person, eller en taxi för 30£. Busshållplats som tar dig på mindre än 5min till Real Madrids Arean eller Centrum låg ungerfär 15m bort. Närmaste tunnelbana låg ungefär 2 min gångavstånd, vilket är ej farligt. På andra sidan vägen ligger stort shoppingcentrum, och nära till Hardrock och Starbucks (200 resp. 15 m!). Hade bra wifi på rummet samt möjlighet till deras dator både i rum och i lobbyn. Så hotellet i sig var väldigt bra, testade däremot inte resturangen/frukost men room service var billig och bra! :) .. Rekommenderat hotell för sina pengar och sitt läge!

Visste att vi valt et område en bit från centrum, men metro och reinfen transporter fanns nära. Inte dyrt att ta taxi från Gran Via. Konstmuseum inom gångavstånd. De flesta av personalen var väldigt vänliga, alla kunde bra engelska. Frukostbuffén var mycket bra och restaurangens mat var också väldigt bra. Dock var det väldigt lyhört på rummet och man kunde höra vad grannarna pratade om. Det fanns inte direkt något matställe precis i kvarteret. Men ca en kvarts promenad ifrån fanns det många ställen att välja på

Perfekt avstånd från Santiago Bernabeu Stadium, goda förbindelser med tunnelbanan till centrum, direkt tunnelbana till Plaza De Espana. Frukost ingår INTE. Detta framgår inte direkt på informationen om hotellet.

Topphotell nära både tunnelbana och många sevärdheter. Rummen är rena, stora, badrummet superbra och sängarna hur sköna som helst. Be om ett rum mot bakgården om du vill ha lugn och ro.

Gran Via är en pulserande nöjesgata med musikaler, affärer och restauranger. Den slutar i öst med Metropolisbyggnadens svarta dom. I stadens hjärta, Puerta del Sol, finns Madrids symboliska björn och reklamskylten för Tio Pepe-sherry. I väster var den stora Plaza Mayor en gång avrättningsplats och säte för Inkvisitionen men idag besöks den mest för sina terasscaféer

Bra hotell med mycket centralt läge "mitt i smeten". Med tanke på priset vi betalade måste detta vara ett fynd.
room was clean but very dark as windows were facing the side of the hotel with no light coming in...a bit depressing ! breakfast was good - medium variety. Staff was helpfull good location, just off Gran Via
"Convenieint for all the main atteractions"
Hotel is ideally situated for the main tourist sites - Plaza Mayor, Real Palace, Prado and other museums/galleries. Did not partake in breakfast but there are plenty of places where you can get a full English/Irish or continental breakfast out side the hotel.

Second time i've stayed at this hotel. Right in the Centre of Madrid, just off of Gran Via where most of the high street shops are located. Lots of places to eat and shop around the area. 5 minute walk from underground station. Very clean tidy hotel. Not the best views from the hotel rooms but thats not really necessary. Lovely shower. The location of this hotel is excellent ,possible to walk to all main sights. My room was at back of hotel and was v quiet. Comfortable bed ,v clean room however room was v small, Carpet and curtains looked v old fashioned nothing like photos on hotel website.Reception staff were quite cold in manner,didnt offer any advice about services available etc. […] If you are looking for a well located clean but basic hotel this is ideal,if want any extra comforts need to look elsewhere. Our first hotel our our European trip! We were pleased with the central location - easy to walking to Plaza De Sol,to the metro, grocery. Room was clean and internet was available on their computer on the ground floor. As novices, we were surprised that they photocopied our passports and when I asked for the copy back upon checkout was told they were […] shredded. "Great location and free internet"
Great location hotel near Gran Via. A couple of nice little cafes nearby also. Hotel staff were helpful on request. Room was nice set up in a boutique style and with a balcony. Bathroom door did not close (only little niggle which is a minor). Working lift is always a plus. Very happy overall. Recommend.
"Shopping belt at your doorstep"
Great hotel to stay at as the shopping area was just at our doorstep. Shops are open even on Sundays. Room was clean and spacious. In between 2 main metro stations. Only complaint are that the shower gel doesn't get replenished and there isn't any universal plug for loan. "bad service - not a good location"
This hotel is not really close to anything. It's in a very loud neighborhood so hard to sleep at night. It's far from retiro and atocha train station. When we arrived, it was 95 degrees and they didn't have our room ready for 4 more hours and instead of the AC working in our room, the heater was working (even when we turned the AC on, the heater would […] come on). It took them a day and a half to fix it and they wouldn't give us a different room. The room is really tiny and you can't really move around much. It's like a closet with a bathroom. There's no room to put your bags. You have to take a metro to all the major sites in madrid. I would recommend that you stay at a hotel near retiro park instead of this one. Breakfast is expensive. They do have an internet terminal downstairs for the guests to use. Some of the staff speaks english and some of them don't. Läs mer
"Hotel Aquaria Negresco - great location"
This small hotel is a gem in a great location - good price, clean and well run only minutes from the subway lin and very handy to the airport via the Metro. We liked it so well we booked in again the next week when we returned to Madrid for 2 days.Two satisfied Canadian Visitors.

"Hotel Aquaria Negresco"
Overall, a great little hotel, very very well situated near the Sol square. For the money, it's amazing value, is kept clean and the staff go out of their way to help out with places to go and see. If I was to nitpick, the breakfast is only served up to 10am on weekends and 9.30am on weekdays. Considering that the night life in Madrid only really starts […] after midnight, this was way too early for me (maybe I'm a party animal...!) The double/twin room was also on the small side. My tip: there are some 3D-ish maps offered at Barajas airport. If you've never been to Madrid before, get a copy. Almost all attractions in the city center are on it. You'll also see how brilliantly situated this hotel is. Quite a bit is in walking distance so no need to take the Metro. If you do want to get one, get the ten trip, ten euro deal. Enjoy! Läs mer

"The Great Escape - in central Madrid"
We spent a lot of time looking at hotels in Madrid for our ‘long’ weekend (5 nights). Having been told how busy and nosy it was, we wanted to be central but in a small hotel. A lot of the reviews we read started to put us off. ‘Thin walls’, ‘noisy streets’, ‘in red light area’, etc. Then we read a review on this hotel and took a chance. It’s a small […] modern, 12 bedroom hotel, off the main Gran Via (Oxford Street). The rooms are a good size, and we had large twin beds and tiled bathroom with power shower. The wardrobe was only half size, and not adequate for two people. There was a fridge (empty) and use of a safe. The room was double glazed to shut out any unwanted noise (although we did not find it very noisy) and of course air conditioning. They also offer free WiFi connection. The price however was the best surprise. Excellent value for central Madrid and only 2 minutes to Sol central, and 5 minutes from Plaza Mayor. Läs mer
"Great location amazing staff"
While I had picked the hotel for it's central location, what I liked most is the hospitality that was shown by the staff. They were always ready to help out with anything and everything. One particular incident was special. My wife is a vegetarian. Should I say more, how difficult it would've been for us to find a good place to eat in Spain. We requested […] the staff to give us recommendations for any places that served vegetarian food. Then next time we were at the reception, they had printed a list of 3-4 restaurants, along with a short description and location marked on Google maps. On other occassions, when we enquired about a show or a performance, they enquired about it and emailed the details to us. I could check them on my blackberry and reply if we wanted to attend it or not. The tickets for whatever we wanted to attend were waiting for us at the reception when we returned. Enough about the service - the location is also quite amazing. Situated just off Gran Via, towards Puerta de Sol, right next to a Flamenco place, in the heart of the city, walking distance from every imaginable place you would like to visit. "A fine budget option in Madrid"
Nice, clean hotel, located just off the Gran Via. Very easy access to 2 metro stations with Sol Metro a little further away. Was initially worried about noise due to the proximity to Gran Via, but was very pleased as it was a very quiet room even though it was situated on the front of the building.

L'hôtel est en plein centre (entre le Callao et la Puerta del Sol). Le personnel y est très serviable. La chambre, très confortable, était assez sombre, et la cage d'escalier en gros travaux, mais malgré cela l'hôtel est d'un rapport qualité-prix difficile à égaler.

prima hotel - midden in centrum Madrid, in rustige straat . Prado en Kon. Paleis op loopafstand. goed ontbijt - goede brede bedden en heerlijke douche.

det er et udmærket hotel, rengøringen var fin, men lidt ustabilt med hvad tid på dagen... personalet var udmærkede til engelsk, dog skal man ofte lige stikke hovedet ind i cafeteriet for at finde receptionisten....

The hotel is in great location. Room is VERY small, smelly and many windows face to the back-walls, fire escapes. Walls are paper thin, you feel and hear everything from below, above and next room guests, including bathroom usage. Beds are not double, but two twins put up together. Don't dream to hug your mate. Design is very old fashioned used fake […] wood pattern on plastic. No real bedcover, only a sheet, some cover that is the same material as the curtain is. You may find a dusty, faded hairy blanket in the cabinet. Night shift is rude and unpolite. Metro takes you all over, and near by to several lines. One ride is 1Euro. Et fint og simpelt hotel, hvis formålet blot er overnatning. 100% centralt blot få minutter fra metroen. Masser af shopping til alle sider. På trods af trafik er sidegaden helt rolig på alle tider af døgnet. Kan anbefales, hvis man kan leve uden fancy lobby og picolo.

The hotel is placed in the middle of everything and you can easily walk from one interesting place to another. The room was not large, but clean and had all you needed. I didn’t test the air-conditioning, because the temperature was only ca 20 degrees, and I didn’t use the offer of breakfast. I had a room away from the street, and no sound reached me. […] The bed was fine. From the hotel to the airport is 30-45 min. in the metro. For a stay where you just need the room to sleep, I recommend the hotel especially because of its central location, clean rooms and friendly, English spoken, helpful staff. Läs mer

Posizione e prezzo dell' Hotel ottima. le camere hanno una doccia perfetta (semi - idromassaggio) ma la camera e alcuni bagni (sono stato + volte al Negresco) sono molto piccoli. Nel complesso comunque buon hotel, consiglio le camere che danno sulla strada la via non è rumorosa. Internet gratis alla reception

Hotellet var billigt, enkelt og har en rigtigt beliggenhed. Værelserne er ikke den vilde luksus, men der er hvad man skal bruge og der er rent.

Très très bien placé (à 50m de la Gran Via), personnel multilingue et agréable et très bon rapport qualité-prix. Hôtel très propre, chambres correctes et confortables, jolie salle de bains très bien équipée (pas de baignoire mais grande douche ovale), WC, bidet, lavabo + sèche-cheveux.
