We stayed in a svit (3 adults and 2 children). We had no expectations but found the hotel to be really good. We stayed in feb so the big pool was cold but the jacuzzi really nice. Big and clean room at a good price. Would definately stay there again!

Ligger i ett relativt lugnt område, behändigt att ta sig till Convention Center med bil. Bra standard til rimligt pris, frukosten bra, fri internet bra. OK att parkeringen kostade.

"Best Western, Poway"
Very economical with the staff putting on a brave face against a property that is showing age. Sleep was virtually impossible because the occupant (an insominiac ???) on the second floor kept pacing up and down the room at all hours of the night. Insulation of the windows/door is such that the vehicle noise in the parking lot comes in big way to affect your sleep, especially when there is a big truck parked in the parking lot, their start and engine running noise will wake you up and spoil your sleep big time! "TOYS UNDER BED"
I had asked before I made the reservation for the room I wanted to make sure that the whole aera of the restroom being the shower the potty and the place to wash your hand were behind a door that could be closed I didn't want to distuburb my roommate with the lights and noise from the hairdryer I was reassured it was well to my surprise it was NOT and […] to make things worse the open part was right next to the bed and when I turned on the lights to wash my hands the light was right on the face of my roomate at least if the head of the bed had been facing the other way maybe not so bad but the head of the bed was right next to the door need to say I was upset but all the rooms where this way also when my mate dropped something on the floor and went to look for it he got a surprise there were baby toys under the bed..rattles and play things ummm maybe they don't vaccume under the bed they need to get down and see what might have been left behind, the good part is it was very quite the rooms were clean..no complaints would I stay there again probley not I didn't like the location of the head of the bed and the fact they lied to me about the doors after all it is a suite. "Just need a place to sleep and shower?"
Very average hotel. Nothing fancy, just stayed here because it was the closest hotel near Mt. Woodson for a wedding. The "King" size bed was a little on the small size and also the pillows. "Luxury at a bargain price."
This was a wonderful bargain for my visit to my son in Poway. The shower was excellent, the bed very firm and comfortable. The room coffee was good, and the free breakfast was better than most. "Hotel Clean and Served the Purpose. But...."
No cabs!!! The hotel had a list of cabs which we called and not one showed up! We waited over an hour and still no cab. We then got a ride from a third party to the rodeo. Thinking the cab issue was a fluke.... Nope! Come to find out this town of Poway does not have cabs as we were rudely told by two different sheriffs. My husband had to walk 3+ miles […] to get our car and come back for our party of 6. Trying to be safe by calling a cab after a few beers. "Good place to stay in Poway"

"The front desk older lady was combatant and rude!"
The front desk person (Older lady) was very mean to customers. She fought with my brother-in-law over the phone when he was booking for himself. On our second morning, the same lady fought with a customer who went to get her breakfast. Instead of giving her breakfast, she just said we are already closed for breakfast. She turned off the light at the […] breakfast room even though there were still many customers eating breakfast there. She was rude, has poor customer service! She should be fired! The lady who came in for her breakfast and was turned down came back later and had a paper with her stating that the schedule of breakfast - she got it from the pamphlet given by the hotel. Instead, that same lady just said that's wrong. She should have acknowledge that paper because it came from the hotel! Besides, there were still a lot of breakfast left. requested for crib for my baby but was told that they were all in use by other guests, but as soon as it was available they would deliver it to our room. The following morning the crib was there. "Stole my shoes"
I left on 08/25/12; discovered that I left a pair of shoes in my room. Called front desk...no "lost/found" record. Reservation gal checked with the lady who did my room. She took my shoes home! "Pleasant experience staying here"
It was pleasant experience staying in this hotel. The exterior of it didn't look fancy, but the room was clean and comfortable to stay. I usually check the cleanliness first when I stay at a hotel, and I was satisfied this time. "If only they vacuumed, it would be okay."
The room was decent, but I don't think it had been vacuumed for a long while. There was food on the floor and when I moved the bed-side tables aside you could see no one had bothered to move any furniture when cleaning. Under just that table was some popcorn, a hair clip, and a large selection of crumbs. The bed was comfortable, but the bedding was […] also not terribly clean, with a few noticeable stains. I didn't try to think too much about what the stains were, but there were a few very small black stains, which is quite disconcerting, as it is an indicator of bed bugs. To be clear, I did not see any actual insects, and I have no visible bites, but the poor vacuuming combined with the stains had me worried. The bathroom was cleaner, but I still found a number of long hairs that were definitely not mine. The shower worked well and the overall bathroom was quite decent for the price. It is very much a shame, this hotel would be a lot better if they just took the time to vacuum. The breakfast was okay, I stuck with toast after the first day as the waffle machine was not worth the time. I can't comment on taste of the eggs and bacon, but it didn't look that great. The location is poor, and quite noisy. I should also be noted you cannot make a left turn out of the parking lot, which is not the end of the world, but a little unusual if you are not used to making u-turns (California relies on them quite a bit).
