Fantastic hotel. We lived in Fairmont Gold and room, breakfast and afternoon food was fantastic. Friendly staff as well. However, they have much to do in the pool area. it is sad enlightened. very dull environment. Warmer light, a bar, a little candlelight and cozy music had made the environment much more enjoyable.

Bekvämt hotel i gammaldags stil. Stort rum med air condition och kyl. Hotellet ligger lite utanför centrum, det gar att ga men det tar en stund. Annars gar det bussar nan minut fran hotellet in till stan.

Very pleasant, it may not be a 4 star hotel but staff are very accomidating and friendly and rooms are comfy and cozy. Definitely definitely worth the money. Great location, easy to get anywhere. I love Victoria and love to stay at places that are close to the town, but not in the town. Pau's Motor Inn was a great surprise! Clean, friendly, convenient, and great food in the restaurant. "clean, close and convenient"
It worked well for me. My room was very basic, oldish, but it was clean, the desk staff were helpful and friendly, the restaurant breakfast was very good and reasonably priced. "Comfortable and Quiet"
Hotel was comfortable and courtyard room was quiet. This was important to us as we had to rise early for Victoria Marathon. A recent car accident had impacted the entry way so repair work was underway (October 2012). Not a big deal to walk around.Verifierad gästrecension från Expedia
This hotel is very old-fashioned and although the rooms were comfortable and clean the room smelled a bit like the building used to be a home for old people (I don't know if it did or not). loved this little place! it was perfect for what i needed. i took a west coast trip from the middle of california all the way up to Victoria by myself and this place took good care of my weary traveling bones. my room was in the back courtyard which was nice and private and quiet! my room was clean and comfy. the staff was very nice. the front desk […] lady had some issues while checking me out that were quite irritating, but nevertheless, she got me out of there and all was well. the location is great, everything is in walking distance. didn't care too much for the food in the diner, so i only ate there twice out of convenience. but all in all, i would stay here again! Older motel with great staff, clean rooms and very accomodating to your needs. Excellent location. Service in restaurant (breakfast) is slow but food is good and always hot. We were allowed to keep our car in the parking lot longer than our actual stay at the hotel and that was appreciated. We loved that the walk to our place of business was close and interesting. "Security a problem"
The key card to the Courtyard doesn't work, despite trying 5 different cards. Someone found the answer - a brick holding the door open. The door key cards were often a miss, despite different cards. Frustration! No asir conditioning so OK in shoulder season, but not summer.Verifierad gästrecension

The locks don't respond to the key cards. Tried 4 different cards, friends tried three before finding one that worked. Even then, it was hit & miss on the room door. we booked the room online and reached the hotel on August 11, 2012 at 4:00 PM but check in was not smmoth. There were problem with their system, so they ask us to come after 40 min for check in. The room was clean and beds were comfortable but microwave not available in the room. "Great place on a budget!"
Hotel was nothing fancy, but it was clean, safe, and comfortable, with mini fridge, but no microwave. Location is about a 10 min walk to the touristy stuff instead of in the middle of it for twice the cost. Hotel also has an attached "drive in" restaurant which was great food, great price. "Excellent Stay"
We stayed twice in Paul's Motor Inn and the rooms were always very clean. The hotel is located very close to Victoria's center (~10-15min walk) and is easily accessible with a car. Additionally, parking is free. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Paul's Motor Inn is a very good stay for the money. We'd definitely stay again.Verifierad gästrecension

My courtyard room was perfectly secluded. The bed & pillows were comfortable and the street noise level minimum. The staff was more than willing to help in anyway needed. I specifically asked to be on the main level due to my husbands health issues, and we were placed on the 2nd level. This was difficult for my husband to negotiate. No elevator..
