Hotell The Burlington Hotel - Dublin

Vi blev mycket positivt överraskade över att hotellet var så fräscht, modernt och servicen var bra! Rummen var stora och sängarna bekväma. Mycket rent och modernt. Frukosten var något dyr med tanke på vad den innehöll, så vi åt på café ute på stan vilket fungerade bra. Hotellet är oerhört prisvärt och ligger i ett fint område. Kanske att det låg något […] långt ifrån, ca 20 minuters promenad. Särskilt dagen när vi skulle åka, då var vi tvugna att ta med oss allt bagage för att hinna äta frukost på stan och därefter ta oss till flygbussen. Läs mer

Fick höra att det VARIT ett av Dublins lyxigaste hotell, men att det kursat och blivit mer prisvärt. Det märktes rakt igenom, jättefin lobby och restaurang samt gott bemötande i reception. Men rummen var väldigt stela och tråkiga. Väldigt irriterande att bakgården var nästan som en skrotgård/byggarbetsplats som väsnades hela våran andra natt. Receptionisten […] låtsades vara förvånad om "they are supposed to stop at 20.00". Yeah right, lite plåster på såren där hade känts bäst. När Ni besöker Dublin behöver Ni aldrig undra vad som ska hända här näst, det är alltid något på gång i staden. Kultur, musik, shopping, vackra vyer och intressant historia erbjuds och du insjunker i en atmosfär av "ta det lugnt, det fixar sig". Efter en fullspäckad dag på staden, oavsätt om du har gått mellan museer och utställningar, shoppat bort […] all tid (och en del pengar) eller tagit Luas och besökt någon av de vackra byarna utanför staden, så behöver du ett retreat att komma tillbaka till. Det är precis vad The Burlington Hotel är. Här finns all service du kan tänka dig, vänliga anställda och trevliga rum. Trevligt och prisvärt hotell. Snygga rum, snabb service och vänligt bemötande från personalen. Man promenerar till centrum på 15 minuter annars finns busshållplats utanför hotellet. Där stannar också Air Coach, bussen till och från flygplatsen.

Bra hotell på 20 minuters promenadavstånd från centrala Dublin. Frukosten - garanterat fri från nyttigheter - är dock för dyr i förhållande till vad som serveras. Drygt 12 euro. Svårt att övertyga personalen om att det går att använda samma handdukar och tvål under tre dagar. Hotell som ännu inte börjat klimateffektivisera känns omoderna.

Bra service och läge.

Väldigt centralt belägen. Endast 10-15 minuters promenad till S:t Stephen Park. Rekomenderas

Hotel was OK, but my heat went out and they brought in a space heater. I thought it was temporary and they would come in and fix the thermostat. Never came back! Should have packed my sleeping bag and an extra pair of wool socks!!

The Burlington is definitely not the hotel it once was. The room, while clean was very shabby and in need of an update. The bed was extremely uncomfortable, and the bed linen was harsh - both had seen better days. Attended a conference at the Burlington. Excellent arrangements. Very helpful and friendly staff

I enjoyed my time at the Burlington, and for the price, it was well worth it. It was a little farther from Stephen's Green than I had hoped, but the service was great, and I was able to check in early on the day that I arrived. We stayed at the Burlington Hotel in Dublin for a week while attending a conference. Our room had been newly renovated and was quite nice with all the necessary attributes. I gave the hotel a '3' for condition because some of the rooms that others in our group were in had not been renovated. The hotel had very good meeting space for our group of almost […] 200 people and provided us with tasty lunches and a nice banquet dinner. The hotel is about a 10 - 15 minute walk from the very center of Dublin in a lovely residential area. Stayed two nights in the hotel while we were in Dublin for a Rugby weekend - really excellent hotel. Real buzz about the hotel at all times - rooms excellent staff friendly and helpful and just such a buzz about the hotel it was great. We enjoyed our stay at the Burlington. It is within walking distance of St. Stephen's Green. Good public transport links. Bus stop outside hotel with No.145 connecting directly with Heuston Station. The Burlington is better than ever, great staff,great location, great comfort, & great service. Close to city centre and easy to find. It has everything that you need in a truly great hotel

This hotel is not doing well - very poor beds and duvets; poor mattresses and very thin duvets, will not stay here again

Enjoyed stay - rooms pretty good, but the overall quality of the hotel has fallen over the years. Basic TV Poor shower Towels - soaps etc all poor quality Avoid expensive breakfasts by crossing the road to excellent local cafes - 50 meters away

Lovely hotel but some drawbacks...cold showers, toiletries only for 1 person. Overall a very clean and nice room but I would expect more for the standard of hotel. We were also advised we would get bathrobes and a minibar in the room and there wasn't any. We were only there for one night so for our needs it was ok but not for a longer stay.

My stay was for business purposes ie trade show in rds. I could leave the car and walk to the RDS in 10-15 minutes which was great.This is a very well maintained hotel. Staff friendly and helpful,standard of room quality was very high. Great bar(quality of draft guinness could be better!!) and complimentatry parking. I would highly recommend it.

Very well located between downtown Dublin finance center and Ballsbridge, close to Grafton Street. Located in nice residential area. Would stay there again.

When staying in the Burlington you must go have chicken wings in the elephant and castle in temple bar near one of the best bars in Ireland the Oliver st.john gogarthy

Stayed there 2 nights and enjoyed stay. Very comfortable room if a little to warm but great location and reasonably priced.

We arrived in the early hours of the morning after a long flight only to find that our room had been given away to people attending a big game in Dublin the previous day. It was only when we complained after viewing our room, were we compensated with free breakfasts for our two day stay and a shift to our original booking the following day. I would […] have preferred to have been told and compensated as soon as we arrived! I assume they hoped we wouldn't complain. They put robes on the list of what they provide but there were none in any of the two rooms we stayed in. Didn't bother us but feel it is false advertising. Hotel very popular for people attending games and meetings which meant the bar area off reception was in party-mode until the late hours! We had difficulty hearing and being heard at reception desk. This hotel was great! Great location, very clean and delicious food. The one thing that really annoyed me was the parking. On the website it says "parking provided". However on the evening we arrived there was no parking available and the hotel just told us to park on the street. We ended up parking about 2 blocks away. It took us about an hr to find […] a parking spot.The hotel staff did not care, they just shrugged their shoulders and said oh well. The only reason we booked the Burlington was because of location and the parking provided. For this reason, i will not be staying at the Burlington again. The attitude of the concierge was not nice. When booking a double room I expect a double bed and not two single beds pushed together.

Hotel staff were welcoming and the immediate public areas were very nice. Coffee lounge and Bellin's bar was very comfortable. The room was clean and tidy but, this was located at the front of the hotel overlooking the main carpark and entrance, and albeit on the 5th floor, suffered from noise. However when the curtains were closed this was muffled. The […] decor of the room, particularly the bathroom was 'tired' and needs updating. However it was functionable. It is about 15 minutes walk from the City Centre, but it is a easy route. If you need a taxi, there are hundreds. Hotel reception were very helpful and informative about the sites and places within and external to Dublin. The experience on the Red or Green Dublin Tours buses are something we would recommend to any visitor. It was great, especially the 'live commentary' versions. It not only gives you an incite to the layout of the city, but also the very good points of interest (Guiness Storehouse, Killmainan Goal, Jamesons experience, shops off O'Connell street). We would recommend a minimum of a two day pass. We would be happy to return to this hotel on any subsequent visit. Läs mer

It was deserving of its 4 stars with everything you could want in the way of food and drink and attractive lobby. On the negative side corridors could possibly be monitored during the night occasionally so that guests didn't have to contact reception at 5 30am! Have stayed there 3 times since September. There is always a good buzz. It's handy for the City Centre just a few stops away on a bus. The free guest carparking is very important for me. We found all the staff very helpful. The steak served in the lobby is good, the brandy pepper sauce is Fab! Breakfast is good too. Will keep going back if prices stay […] affordable. Stayed on fourth floor, room fine but bathroom very poor with curved bath badly scratched in several places and front panel not fixed to bath and upper part in particular exposed and it was very dirty. A glass panel near the shower was again very dirty at the bath end. Staff were very good but hotel needs a face lift.
