Hotell Newport Beachside - Sunny Isles Beach

Noisy at all hours of the night specially after 1 o'clock people talking in the pool areas in the halls. Construction going on in the early mornings. The accommadation is horrible by the beach area. You need to buy umbrella and pull the chairs . there no body to bring the chairs to you. Chairs are collected at 5

Also this particular hotel, we stayed in last yr, and this time i think the valet parking guys was more human, just didnt stand there expecting u to tip" them everytime they bought u car from the parking area, did enjoy that, hotel looks good from outside and also lobby area, but that bout it, the hotel rooms could need a renovation very soon, actually […] entering the room it really looks like crap" sorry the expression, nothin like from the outside face" weird but true, but location wise vey close to everything incl Aventura mall which is roughly 10 min. drive and Miami Beach just located a few steps from lobby. safety box, fridge, oh yea forgot coffea maker, "but do remember to tell them in reception" if its not in room, its complimentary :o) our room was 204, facing the beach pretty nice, with an balcony as well, and comp, wireless. The accomodations are nice; some additional updating is needed in the rooms however, they are by no means, terrible. Make sure you eat at the hotel restaurant, the food is excellent. The Pier that is in the hotel picture is not useable. The beach is very nice, pool in good condition, spa excellent. Overall a very positive expereince.

We were sent up to our room with a key, opened the door and other guests were in the room! We were then supposed to get an upgraded room, but that wasn't ready, so we ended up with the third room, which was ok. Hallways smell, a bit dated, but big, comfortable rooms with a good beach and atmosphere.

Pretty good hotel. Nothing to blow you away, but nothing too bad either. I got one of the beach front views and balconies for the extra money. Very nice views. Staff was pretty good. I booked it because the price was very low for what you got. I'd stay again if the prices were good.

Carpets dirty, no service at all, no coffee in room(even in chip motels it is coffee), Cafeteria on the first floor smells like in 70 Th, Not good, would not recommend!!!!!

Love the location right on the beach! Pool and beach area nice and clean. The hotel is old and some things like furniture in the lobby could be in better shape. We had a room on the 11th floor and it was nice and clean. Within walking distance there's quite a few shops and a supermarket, Starbucks and some restaurants. Room has a fridge and microwave […] if you feel like self-catering. Bus to South Beach and Aventura Mall is right outside the hotel making it easy to move around without a car. Hotel is nice for families, this is a quiet area. I liked it and will most likely return to this hotel on my next visit. Läs mer

The best thing about this hotel is the location - beachfront. But beyond that; it's a very ordinary hotel. The elevators were slow, and there always seemed to be a crowd waiting. The rooms itself was supposedly recently remodeled, but the bathroom floor had dark stains in a few spots, and the tile around the bathtub/shower had what looked like dark […] red stains in some areas. On two occasions, housekeeping had forgotten fresh facecloths. The hotel lobby always seemed crowded lending a somewhat hectic, chaotic atmosphere. On the pooldeck was a covered protected area that had brown couches that looked well past their service life. I've stayed at this hotel twice now. Once in Nov and again in December. I'll start with the guest elevators not working properly throughout our stay. We were never stuck for more than an minute or so but it scared the bejeezers out of my daughters. Our room had holes in the ceiling around the light fixture. A hotel employee hit on me. That was nice […] until he started to sell me something. The service in the restaurant was somewhat rude and the breakfast buffet was overpriced for the quality of good. The Front Desk service was hit or miss. One employee was customer service oriented and was professional. One time I walked through the lobby and he started a conversation with my name. That was a nice touch. I was impressed. However another employee (upon check out) told me that a taxi ride would be the least expensive way to get to the Ft. Lauderdale airport and quoted a price. Once I arrived at the airport via taxi, I was really surprised to find out from the taxi driver that the price was DOUBLE! Läs mer

After reading some bad reviews, went to the Newport, not knowing what to expect. Turned out great, hotel on the beach, good service, lively pool and bar. Not too noisy. Would go back

Hotel was good value for what we paid (great sale rate), but not worth full rate in my opinion. The traffic to and from Miami was terrible and expensive in a cab. And there was a daily "resort fee" that wasn't clearly indicated until we got there. Not really sure what the resort fee covered. Pool was nice.Just know the pier in the picture is broken so you cannot walk out on to it. That was a disappointment to us because the pictures lead one to believe it is functional and ready for you to enjoy. Room was large, but kind of dated. I think they are in the process of updating the hotel so make sure to ask for an updated room.

If rate it by its convenience, it's incredible. Just walk down the hotel, you reach the beach.. The beach is long, nice, just a very good place to stay if you are a beach lover! Yet, dont expect much in the room! It's the oldest hotel room I have ever been.. The coach drops when you sit, the little table shake when you work on it. Towels are hard, […] not soft... I have never had such a bad hotel experience. The room was dirty, the furniture torn, the bathtub area slimy with soap residue and the door between the living room and bedroom - non-existent. What a dump. Although I made three requests to housekeeping to come clean the room, no one ever showed up. The front desk staff were rude and as I was waiting […] for information overheard another guest ask if anyone spoke Spanish - response was a flat no - no attempt to be helpful or courteous. The only exception was the young manager who finally moved me to a 'renovated' room. I put renovated in quotes, because it wasn't a lot better than the first room, except that it was cleaned. If all you care about is being on the beach, stay here! If you care about the comfort of your room/bed, don't. Definitely not the nicest hotel, but when you compare to the prices elsewhere you can't beat it.

Great location if you want a combination of beach and shopping vacation. A little far from South Beach but close to Bel Harbour and Aventura Mall. Great beach and rooms are large and spacious. Would definately stay there again.

I think they need noise cancelling windows put in, way too loud. The hotel is near shops, coffee and movies. The Newcastle hotel in Sunny Isles , FL is centrally located, the common areas and the beach is great but the rooms are not upgraded, the ones he had , had no windows and were very dark.

This hotel did not mentioned which self parking is outsight far from hotel,this is very inconvinient ,so pepole must pay more for valet parking John

Newport Beach Hotel is a lively, upbeat and trendy hotel in the middle of Sunny Isles. This previously mentioned description greatly departs from the description provided and the price range quoted during the year. This hotel belongs in SOBE, not in Sunny Isles. Hotel was better in real life than the pictures online. Service was very good. Very nice beach and pool area as well as nice shops and restaurants. My only complaint would be our room was in need of some door and ceiling repair as well as there was mold in the bathroom.

Even though Newport Beachside is not the most up to date hotel, we found our room comfortably clean and the staff eager to help and very friendly. The location was also really great, right on the beach and out the front door to all kinds of eating and shopping. The bus takes you right to a nice mall called the Aventura. Also a great bar called Duffy's […] within walking distance over a bridge, but well worth the walk. Cleanliness is very important to me and I found that it certainly filled the bill. Läs mer

I stay for 1 night only ,really comfort room I come back :)

We went in December and it was beautifully decorated. The employees were very nice!!! It is accommodating and close to everything!

First the good -- the hotel is in an excellent location. Valet parking was seamless. Easy access to restaurants, shopping and beaches. The bad -- we stayed in a recently renovated room that was in desperate need of new furniture, painting and a rug shampoo. The pull out sofa was more like a toddler bed -- very low to the ground. The bathroom was very […] dirty. I had to place two phone calls to have it re-cleaned. I had to physically show the maid where the dirt was and how to remove it. The toilet had a ring about 7 or 8 inches think of debris. Clearly the toilets are never throughly cleaned. The breakfast room floors were very dirty the floors are filthy. The playground equipment on the beach area is hazardous -- lots of rust and sharp edges. The beach area was not clean. The elevators are not modern. We were only at the hotel for one night. But the lobby and the people were very nice. Thank goodness they upgraded our room, because even the upgraded one had a bad view of the rooftop of building next door. Very retro, interesting. No coffee makers.

It's showing it's age a little - but its a good location and a fine hotel - friendly staff, good big heated pool. Highly recommended.

I am very picky when it comes to hotel stays. This room exceeded my expectations!!!!!! Friendly staff, clean rooms, easy beach access. I will definitely stay here again

Outside of hotel, lobby, concierge look acceptable, however, the carpeting, furniture, and room interior look very dated and is in bad need of renovation. The pool, beach and shopping are all easily accessable.

The only problem we had we the elevators. They are older and easily over burdened. We got trapped in one the first day we were there and had to pry open the doors and crawl out. It never happened again, but I was told it happens when a lot of people and their luggage cram into one car.

lovely hotel, good service,. rooms ok - sufficient. positioned near bus routes for south beach - but late buses - not very regular buses back - so we got taxis . overall we enjoyed our stay - although we only stayed for one night as that was what we booked.

This hotel offers very good value in the Mimami beach area! I would recommend it to anyone.

I recieved kaes from ocupied room. all others services were perfect. parking close to hotel, over the street.

The hotel is excellent and the price is very good and its located in the center of miami b. with cheap parking (I just want a little more generous from the Front Dask)
