"My wife's Birthday Treat"
-generally very pleasant stay but not accomodating when requested to change room locations away from the childrens pool area -quiet in mornings and later evenings due to few teenagers present -restaurant convenient but not very romantic ambiance-went next door for dinners to Morrit's David's Restaurant on the patio deck -convenient having small shopping/grocery […] vcentre across street -too bad the recreational supplies were all for hire(Snorkels,masks, kayaks,hobie cats etc.-was nice to see bicycles and tennis equipment supplied free) Läs mer
It was the perfect hotel for what we were looking for. Four adults & one child. Plenty of room and the amenities were great.
"Quite Hotel"
The Reefs Hotel is good for the families, elderly and kids. Very quite and peaceful. The only problem is housekeeping, you never know when you room will be cleaned and bed made, sometimes it never happened until you call to the front desk.
"Great hotel on the quiet side of Grand Cayman"
The Reef Resort was a great place to stay. We rented a car from the airport which made our travels to the hotel easier and also allowed us to tour the island at our pace. We recommend this hotel to everyone who's looking for a nice quiet stay that's surrounded by great staff (especially Colin at the hotels beach bar).

We were VERY happy with the convenience, condition and location of the condos. The staff was excellent (housekeeping, grounds keepers, and front office) - extremely helpful and friendly! "Great time on the East End"
The Reef Resort is an excellent secluded hotel on the East End but it is not far away from a good time. They offer a wide variety of excursions at their more than helpful concierge desks. At our stay, we took advantage of their snorkel trip, which are twice daily. With a maximum of 8 people on the boat, you are taken to two private reefs that no other […] snorkelers see. Part of the trip with the fun and entertaining guides includes visiting an anchor of an old ship wreck. If you dive 15 feet to touch it, you get that many years good luck. The location is across the street from a grocery store and souvineer shop in addition to a Dunken Doughnuts and liqueur store. The on premises restaurant "The Barefoot Bistro" is an inexpensive way to experience delicious local flavors. Overall, our stay at the Reef Resort was am excellent value for a low price. "Reef Resort - Cayman Islands - Great Holiday"
We loved our stay at the Reef. The ground floor room with patio which overlooked the pools and ocean was absolutely perfect. Every room at the resort has a wonderful ocen view and there are plenty of amenities nearby. The resort itself remains tucked away in a quaint part of Grand Cayman Island so you have the best of both worlds - convenience and tranquility. "Make sure you know where this hotel is."
This hotel is listed under "Seven Mile Beach" but it is in fact at the complete opposite end of the island. This translates to a 45 minute, US$70 taxi ride each way. The resort is very cool but not the close to airport overnight I was looking for. The map on the page does not show where it is.

"PERFECT GETAWAY FOR RELAX"
I stayed in one of the Junior suites ocean front and i have to say that i loooved the week i spent there. Is the perfect place to relax and enjoy the beach and that sun. The service of the hotel is BAD, but it was the perfect location away from everything to relax and enjoy the sun and the water. If you are looking for fun and restaurants this is NOT […] your place as there is nothing around this hotel and it takes 45 minutes to get to Georgetown or seven mile beach where all the crazy stuff is on. the beach is not perfect as it has a lot of stones to get into the water but overall i had a GREAT time as you get out of the room and literally walk on the sand!!! The Reef resort was a lovely place to stay. The staff were very helpful, the view was great and the food was good. I wouldn't really recommened it for single travellers because it had mostly families and couples there when I went. The wind was constant and strong in March. The Reef Hotel is located in Colliers Bay which is away from the hustle and bustle of downtown which is great for families. I had family and business in this area so it worked out perfectly.
