Hotell Daddy O Hotel - Bay Harbor Islands

Mycket bra hotell. Ligger ca 30min buss från Southbeach. Ligger i det finare området Bay Island. Trevlig personal. Enda negativa är deras kuddar som är stenhårda och höga så man får nackspärr.

Hotellet ligger lite off om man vill ha gångavstånd till allt. Har man däremot bil är man i smeten på några minuter. Runt hörnet finns lite olika restauranger och butiker inkl supermarket iofs. Hotellets rum är riktigt smakfullt inredda, rena och fräscha med bra höga rena sängar och badrummen mycket fina. Inte jättestora rum direkt men tillräckligt, […] utsikten varierar dock beroende på vilken sida. Hade rum mot "den tråkiga delen" som tillhörde ett bakutrymme med AC anläggning. Störde oss inte iofs då vi ändå inte hade någon balkong att hänga på. Parkering var lätt att fina på baksidan. Hotellet tar 8 dollar per dygn vilket är överkomligt i Miami Beach som ofta kostar 20-30 dollar annars. Personalen och servicen var mycket vänlig och bra. Har bott i Miami flertalet ggr men aldrig så bra standard till detta låga pris vi betalade mitt i högsäsongen. Frukost ingick vilken var begränsad till bagels, sötsaker och kaffe. Inget vi ätit i normala fall men att frukost ingick var bara det förvånansvärt. Kaffe och dryckesautomat ingår hela dygnet liksom WIFI. Kan rekommendera detta ställe starkt om du har bil och inte absolut måste bo i South Beach. Tog inte alls lång tid till FLL heller. Bara till och boka nu:-) Läs mer

Jag kan varmt rekommendera Daddy O. Ljust, fräscht, trevligt renoverat, bra städat, sköna sängar och liten men trevlig frukost. Det finns ett litet centrum med det nödvändigaste, och det finns en strand pågångavstånd, men annars är det bil till övriga Miami beach som gäller. Vi tog in på detta hotell för 2 dygn, ett bra alt om man inte vill bo vid beachen och betala mera. Ett måste att ha bil då det inte direkt är gångavstånd till shopping och beachen. Parkeringen var full varje kväll men personalen tog hand om bilen, bara att lämna nycklarna och ställa bilen vid entrén. Ganska lyhört mellan rummen men det störde inte oss. […] Ett minus var att det endast var ca 6 platser i matsalen så fick man inte bord så gällde det att ta med frukosten till rummet. vi återkommer gärna hit. Mycket bra och vänlig personal som vet vad service innebär. Först fick vi ett rum med fönster mot klimatanläggningscentralen men det var inga konstigheter att byta rum när man väl sade till att man stördes av ljudet. Frukosten var helt okej för att vara continental breakfast. Minusen var att kuddarna var lite väl höga för vår smak men det fanns en liten […] i skåpet så det löste sig, lite väl lyhört var det också. Hotellet ligger ca 15 min bilväg från South Beach så bil är att rekomendera, det fanns solstolar och parasoll att låna om man vill ta med de till stranden :). Ett mycket bra hotell som ligger kanon med gångavstånd till Miami beach. Hotellet är fräscht och personalen jättetrevlig. Schysst badrum och 46 tums tv i sovrummet. Rekommenderar varmt detta hotell.

Great for the money. Would stay again. One problem: pillows were too high, need to have a variety of pillows.

The hotel was nice and in a good neighbourhood. We were told by the agent at hotels.com that it was a 20 minute walk to south beach which was false, it was approximately a half hour $50 cab ride. The area was quiet , with no night life, few stores and only a mall called Bal Harbour with high end designer shopping, catered to the very wealthy. The staff […] at the hotel were very friendly, and took our bags to our room when it was ready, they recommended great restaurants. We were woken up at 3 am by very loud mysterious noises in the room above ours, which lasted for over 2 hours and kept awake and disrupted our sleep. The room room was nice, clean, the bed was good, but the walls are paper thin and you hear everything. There was free coffee all day long. The continental breakfast had very limited items. Althou the Hotel was under remodeling, the hotel was very nice. Great staff and great location. Very nice stay.

Pros: Great customer service, new hotel, nice decor, free wifi, very comfortable beds. Cons: In a dull area (you need a car if you want to go to SoBe, fried steak smell from the Palm restaurant downstairs permeates hotel air and room air, no irons or ironing boards in room, no soundproofing between rooms (why do hotels skimp in this?), breakfast area […] was small and you had to make everything including your coffee. Recently remodelled. Spacious room and excellent bathroom. Lots of extras and connected to Palm restaurant. Very good value.

We needed a layover in Miami and Daddy-O proved to be a good spot. About half mile from Bal Harbour beaches. The rooms have only king beds, but ours was very comfortable. The staff here was very helpful and accommodating and helped us make the most of our stay.

great room decor and lobby design, and loved the friendly staff and free internet (when it was working), but the rooms were a bit small and there was major construction going on that made everything feel a little less relaxing. A sign apologizing for the inconvenience struck me as an inadequate acknowledgment of the problem.

Terrific!, but Just a bit too expenseive.

Only stayed for 1 night but everyone I met seemed to be happy with the "good mornings" and whatnot. Courtney at the front desk was super helpful and took as much time as I needed to answer all my questions about where to go in the surrounding neighborhood, this was a great start to my stay. I really enjoyed the hotel for the one night that we stayed there. The decor was very modern and chic, the location was nice and off to the side. The staff was very helpful. This boutique hotel is very nice and the location is very good. The service is excellent. Pros: very good service, very good location, very nicely decorated rooms. Very good value for the money. Cons: the walls are very thin and you can hear your next door neighbor. Privacy is not good at all. There was noise from the AC compressors outside the window. […] There were some screaming kids. If you are easily disturbed by noise from outside or the next door room, then pass on this hotel. The included breakfast was OK - not much really, but good quality food. Not much seating available. The service by the staff was very good. My wife forgot a Tiffany necklace in the room. Bad hotel! Staff undertrained, you can hear everything in the next room and hear the footsteps on the floor above.

A funky hotel locatedH in Bar Harbor Islands. Fairly plain reception area and austere hallways but rooms are done nicely, have a good layout and stay true to the Miami feel. Rates are very reasonable as well.

Given the name, I didn't expect much, but when I walked into the room is was nice and bright, very clean, and very comfortable. I would absolutely stay here again without hesitation. A/C was a little loud, but worked perfectly...

This hotel is located in the most exclusive area of Miami. The staff were very friendly. Everything was cleaned. The atmosphere was very nice, I would recommended.

It was great location and it looked great. Was clean. Few things missing is as most small places around Miami it didn't have good water pressure. The people in the room above us did not stop marching in their room for an hour and you could hear every foot step ( ask for higher floor room). There is no room service but there is delivery from restaurants […] around. Ohhh... The pillows. I use small pillows and the pillows in a hotel were so big I had to make my pillow out of a towel. Other than that the hotel is great. Even few things weren't perfect I'd stay there again with my own pillow. Läs mer

Very stylish small hotel located just two blocks from beach and Bal Habour shops. Loved the furniture throughout, expecially on porch. Very comfortable king-sized bed. Complimentary continental breakfast was very good. Staff pleasant. Would highly recommend.

Room was spare, but that wasn't the issue - it was the fact that you could hear the TV of your neighbors. Location had no food nearby - needed a car to find anything and then not much was desirable. Location really does matter in this case

Excellent hotel. The location was a few blocks off the beach, but the accommodations were much better than a condo I had rented on the beach. The rooms were clean, and the bed was very comfortable. The continental breakfast was limited in selection, but the muffins were fabulous! I would definitely stay here again.

Clean hotel near Bal Harbour shops. Guests most definitely need a car in order to make the most of Miami as the hotel itself is about 25 minutes from Miami beach. Breakfast was bare minimum, toast, bagels and yogurt. I would have hoped for some cheese, ham and/or eggs to call it breakfast. I was pleasantly surprised at the modern interior decor in what is obviously an older building. I have stayed there twice since my first time, and the staff is always incredibly friendly and prompt. The location is perfect for me- minutes from the beaches but also close to other places such as Barry University. The people were very nice but not much service and the hotel had this very strange odor and it gave you the feeling that things weren't clean even though the room looked fine, the stairs going up to the second floor were filthy. I just have to say that this hotel has the best beds and pillows; so very comfortable. I LOVED IT!! Our bathroom was very clean and pretty, exactly like the fotos. Our stay was very pleasant, I felt like I was in my own bedroom but better because their beds and pillows are awsome. The rooms come equipt with a nice big flat screen tv. They serve continental […] breakfast and have all day coffee machine available with like MOcca and other coffee. There is no elevator, but it;s just a two floor hotel. Läs mer

I enjoyed my stay here. The location was great. The beach and restaurants and a mall were all a few blocks a way. I didn't have a car one day and I took a bus to the South Beach area. The hotel was very nice and had a friendly helpful staff. I like the fresh bagels and fruit that was available every morning.

Hotel is very clean and cozy nice looking. Would stay there again and again and again. Great price also!The bed was the most comfortable bed Ive been on!

Though it is not right next to the beach, but it was actually nice to take a little walk around the neighborhood. The hotel service is really helpful and direct us around for restaurants and shopping. I also like the free breakfast too.

I would give all 5 except hearing noises from adjacent room. Hotel staff is very friendly and helpful.

Miami at its finest! Unbelievable neighborhood!! Walk anywhere. Shopping, beach, restaurants, everything right there and so neat and pretty. Would like to go back

THE STAFF WERE GREAT, THE BED WAS EXCELLENT AND HOTEL VERY CLEAN. I WOULD STAY HERE AGAIN AND RECOMMEND IT TO COUPLES WITHOUT CHILDREN.

Great place if you get a car rental. Breakfast is very simple, hostel type. But overall VERY GOOD.

I'm all about cleanliness, on a scale of 1-10 the rooms in this hotel get a 10 for sure. I was there for business so I really didn't get a chance to take advantage of much of the surrounding spots in the community. The only two things that I didn't really like were how thin the walls were, and the breakfast area. Fortunately my neighbors weren't loud […] at all, the only things I would hear are the occasional sneeze and cough, but it was still wierd to be able to hear those things so well! The breakfast area is a small corner with two tables, it was just to tucked in for me, so I took my bagles back to the room. I'd also recommend asking for a room close to the entrance. Getting to my room was like going through a small maze. I don't think I would stay there again, but it was a great stay for the price. Läs mer

A delightful surprise, tucked away in a quiet section of Bay Harbour, near Bal Harbour shops and only 15 minutes from South Beach. Nice room size and convenience of The Palm Restaurant on premises. Nice hotel with helpful staff. Walking distace to beach, food and buses. Our room was modern and high standar, the only disadvantage was that you heared the neighbour quite well.
