Hotell Inn At Wilmington - Wilmington

The service was great and so was the location. It did not meet the expectations for what was advertised on Hotels. Com. The bathrooms were not impressive at all. I would probably not stay there again.

Being a pilot, I see all kinds of hotels nationwide. I must say that the Inn at Wilmington was fantastic. Very friendly staff, clean rooms, and a very nice location. Unlike the Double Tree downtown, the Inn at Wilmington is in a nice area (not the ghetto). Plus there are many food options within walking distance. This is a good hotel.

This was the third time that I stayed at the Inn at Wilmington. During the previous two visits, no problems were encountered. The facility is very well-maintained, and the room was clean and very comfortable, with considerable attention to detail. Compared to similar hotels in the area, it was also quite competitively priced. Unfortunately, when checking […] out from the most recent stay, I received a receipt for about $140 charged to the credit card that I had provided during check-in for incidentals. I questioned the person at the desk about this charge, since I had prepaid the stay in full through an online service. The person assured me that it had been a mistake to give me that receipt, and that my credit card would not be charged. It was. I have now placed three calls to the hotel, and have not yet talked with the manager, who has also not returned my call, as was promised by the person working at the desk. I have no doubt that the error will be corrected, but the lack of follow-through by the manager belies the otherwise excellent service provided by this hotel. Läs mer

Would've given 5 stars except for a few problems. The front desk was a little slow in dealing with our needs. First room we were given was smoky ( no smoking hotel) and there were unidentified wet spots on one of the beds. They gave us a different room which was fine. 2nd day we couldn't get in room. Pros: The room was clean. There was plenty of space in my room. The bed was comfortable. Cons: I asked for a queen, but it may have been a full bed. The tub drained very slowly. Very nice hotel centrally located. Front desk staff doing extra duty in kitchen over the holiday, but that had little effect. Have stayed there several times and the experience is consistently good.

Very comfortable bed, good water pressure in the shower, very clean room at a reasonable rate and simple continental breakfast. Rested and on our way.

Very nice hotel. The staff was friendly, interior of the hotel comfortable and inviting as were the rooms. Conveniently located to I95, the Concord Mall and several restaurants. Have stayed at other local hotels but won't anymore. The Inn at Wilmington is where all my future reservations will be made.

Conveniently located near Winterthur Museum, friendly staff, good breakfast, high-speed internet that is actually high speed.

except for the problem with the noisy air conditioner (the clerk changed our room the next day...overall it was fine...service good, coffee and breakfast excellent.

this was a great hotel in a great location close to Winterthur,Philly and surrounding area. good resturants close by and some shopping but still a quiet neighborhood. A clean hotel with a basic ok breakfast. the only thing i would change are the pillows and some fresh fruit for breakfast would be nice. overall i liked it and would stay here again.

On my wedding night in my gown and husband in his tux we were not greeted or congratulated but looked at like we where annoying the miserable lady behind the counter. She then proceeded to argue with us and then Hotels.com where we purchased our hotel stay for about a good 45 min. UNTIL, she found the papers that confirmed our stay right next to the […] computer. She then cursed someone under her breath blaming them. Never apologized or anything. We were then given the wrong room. Once hotels.com gave her a call she gave us a call in a gumpy tone to come down and get our new key. After that we thought, Ok, we are done with her. We have our room and we are good. We went down stairs in the lobby to wait for friends so we could go out for breakfast and from behind the corner she miserably came out, gawked at us and then in the most ignorant voice said " What's wrong now"? My room was very comfortable, and I appreciated several things about this hotel - location - across from a mall full of restaurants and close to several other regular malls, close to freeways for access to Philly or Winterthur or NJ. Also - a microwave and fridge in every room makes it convenient if you are staying more than a night or two. Lots of […] room to spread out. The first night, my microwave didn't work, but they replaced it immediately. My bed was extremely comfortable, and the breakfast in the mornings was adequate. More fresh fruit would have been nice. The only thing I didn't like was what I don't like about most mid-sized hotels and that is the strong smell of anti-bacterial cleaners. I know they need to use them, but do they have to smell so bad? I could have given this hotel a much higher rating except for a couple of housekeeping issues. 1) Housekeeping did not replace my soap from day to day or even every 2 days. 2) Housekeeping did not replace the pad of paper on the desk, even though I had clearly used up all the sheets. 3) Housekeeping did not replace the glasses I had used. 4) Towards […] the final day of my stay, we were running out of toilet paper. Everything was fine except for the pull out couch. VERY UNCOMFORTABLE! Our daughter had a backache the next morning. IT needed anew matress or better yet, buy a new couch for room 403

Fourth time staying at this hotel. Very clean and convenient to area businesses. Only downside is the limited breakfast and no dinner option.

I was there for a show in Thanksgiving point with two of my friends. So the location is not a problem for me. The room is really clean. The breakfast has limited choice but very fresh. The decor and condition of the room is good too. Overall a very satisfying stay.

Exceptional value.

Very good value for the money. I have stayed here multiple times and have never been disappointed. The bed is very comfortable and the front desk has always been polite and professional. The free breakfast also has a nice selction of waffles, cereal and microwave breakfast sandwiches. Free parking, too.

Great room for the price paid. Easy to find off of Rt202 and free parking. Lots of chain restaurants nearby and within walking distance. The bed was comfortable and the room clean. The comp breakfast was good too.
